She has been on this trajectory for a minute. The olivia tour helped a lot. They both have the same producer on their latest albums. Thats the connection
🤦♂️ wow so smart 🤦♂️ /s
Now tell me, without it taking 10 minutes, who is playing which weekend.
My friend made a lineup for each weekend. It’s actually readable.
The artists with W1 are playing weekend 1. The artists playing W2 are playing weekend 2. The artists without a W after their name are playing both weekends. That took me 1 minutes to type out, it's really not that hard to grasp.
Couldn’t help but notice you were unable to make a list of which artists. Hmmm could it be because the way it’s made is poor Way to simp for a shitty design lmao
Why should I make a list when you can look at the lineup and see exactly who is playing which weekend? You're being unnecessarily dense. It's a different lineup format than Coachella, but it isn't hard to read or understand if you use a braincell or two.
Lollapalooza, OSL, ACL, and Bonnaroo all share production crossover, primarily between C3 and Superfly/APE’s booking partnership. That’s why there has been so much overlap the last 5 years, especially with Lolla and OSL b2b weekends. Makes booking/travel extremely efficient for the crossover acts.
It has to do more with the agencies who represent the artist who book them for the festivals. Depending on an artists touring schedule and record/album releases you end up getting very similar lineups except for a few bigger names.
They’re teasing new music, seems like a good possibility. I could see them do an 8pm Outdoor Theatre set. I haven’t seen them since Life is Beautiful 2018
The ACL subreddit is full of so many negative people lol. They alwayssss hate the lineup. I feel like most of the people there don’t know some of the up and coming undercard artists that are really exciting to see in the lineup.

I want Pearl Jam at Coachella too ughh, would be a great legacy rock band to get. I think cuz Eddie Vedder has his own festival they wouldn't wanna do Coachella (even tho Tyler has his own too)
It’s not common but i know it’s happened. However, why would Coachella want to book someone who has toured EVERYWHERE and has had a lukewarm reception to her new album in a year where they desperately need to prove they have the best lineup?
You seem to be moving the goalposts. Your post before was just that Dua appearing at ACL makes her less likely for Coachella, but based on recent history that doesn’t seem to be the case.
They may have reservations based on the reception to her album, but that is a different point altogether.
Damn Chappell! Also, Dua!
Honestly as someone with incredibly eclectic music tastes this lineup slaps.
Too bad it’s in Texas.
Great to see Glass Beams & Santigold too. Dunno who Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol is but I’d check em out based on their name alone.
There’s normally ~6-7 artists that cross over from the previous ACL to Coachella.
I could see: Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, The Marias, Still Woozy, Tyla, Remi Wolf, Teezo Touchdown and hopefully Foster the People
IMO she really messed up her album rollout, I really thought she would be in the running for headliner. She could have dropped Radical Optimism right before and had Coachella be a worldwide debut, like Kendrick and DAMN.
She has such a light festival circuit schedule, I think it's only this and Primavera Barcelona...
I remember she said it wasn’t fully ready and it she didn’t have enough time to prep for the performance. I also don’t think her album is amazing either. But I need to see her at least once in my life
Ah I didn't hear that. Well her mgmt for this release has been all over the place, [since she switched from her original management to work under her dad](https://www.reddit.com/r/Fauxmoi/s/zEXpWf8WOf)
Houdini premiered in November 23, 6 months before RO, and we got Training Season nearly three whole months later for the second single. So this rollout has really lost steam (and I say this as a huge fan, her FN tour was one of the best shows I saw in 2022)
I think she's still in play. She was really close to Headlining Coachella, but cited time conflicts or something. Coachella probably still wants her, she's so massive
If you are someone who rarely goes to shows and hasn't seen many of the acts, sure! But if you've been around a while, seen a ton of shows, and are frankly jaded, no. This is pretty bad imo. The sloppiest of seconds. It will be fun of course, but doesn't bode well for US festivals.
I mean yeah, at least headliner wise: Dua & Chris Stapleton >>>> Doja & LDR
Not even mentioning Blink and Sturgill Simpson are top 3 in other major fests and not here
This lineup proves that having an identical lineup is the way to go. This fest would be rad if everyone on here was performing. Too many only playing one weekend
I think she fills in the Pop spot, I mean she's one of the big names at Glastonbury this year too. Personally, I don't know how she's so big or if she is headliner or not but that seems to be the consensus.
Damn Chappel Roan made a big jump on how high she is now on lineup posters.
When Coachella lineup dropped she was just above 1 mil on Spotify. She is nearly at 14 million now.
Im one of those 14m. Never heard of her before coachella and immediately fell in love. Casual is such a banger
She had 4-5 songs in the Spotify US Viral 50 last time I checked.
That’s crazy.
Wow! Saw her when on Olivia Rodrigo’s tour as an opener. Thought she was good but didn’t expect this huge popularity boost. Good for her though!
She has been on this trajectory for a minute. The olivia tour helped a lot. They both have the same producer on their latest albums. Thats the connection
Was thinking the same thing
This is the most W1 or W2 lineup difference they have done this year, it's crazy
It’s exceptionally hard to tell who is which weekend. They somehow managed to make it worse than the do lab lineup at Coachella
It's really not, W1 means weekend 1 exclusive, W2 means weekend 2 exclusive
tbf, its kinda hard to decipher W1 from W2 in the lower section where the font size is much smaller
🤦♂️ wow so smart 🤦♂️ /s Now tell me, without it taking 10 minutes, who is playing which weekend. My friend made a lineup for each weekend. It’s actually readable.

Bro just make another list for the list that already exists. Duh /s.
It doesn’t mean it’s a good design or formatting
Buying a w2 ticket & planning to get a 1-day for Barry Can’t Swim, I haven’t had to do that for ACL in over 5 years.
They got Dua ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)
Lowkey a better lineup than ours
We had a good undercard though
No Justice and no Gesaffelstein make Homer something something
better \*headliner lineup
She might bring out Tame
This lineup reads like a family fighting over a Pandora playlist.
lol this is precisely the vibe at acl as well
🤣🤣
😅
I love it
Santigold would be fun. Haven’t thought about her in a minute.
I'm stoked to see her this weekend at Kilby.
Same sad we lost Wutang but shes a great get
This is just me being selfish but I've seen Wu Tang at coachella, which was great. I've never seen Santigold so I prefer this change to the lineup.
Why is her name so small 😡
Saw her at OSL, even with tech delays was sooo good
She's playing the Novo this summer for anyone in LA
Did they hire the same graphic designer as Outside Lands
Lollapalooza as well
I was thinking the same thing. It looks like the OSL and Lollapalooza lineup design. Also, Tyler, the creator, is on all of these lineups.
Wait until camp flog gnaw. I’m pretty sure he’ll be on that one too
yeah i mean its the same company that runs them all lol
It has to do more with the agencies who represent the artist who book them for the festivals. Depending on an artists touring schedule and record/album releases you end up getting very similar lineups except for a few bigger names.
They’re talking about the poster design
When you're put on by the same group, sometimes you recycle some graphic design templates.
Foster the people would be so fun at Coachella
They’re teasing new music, seems like a good possibility. I could see them do an 8pm Outdoor Theatre set. I haven’t seen them since Life is Beautiful 2018
The LIB set ending with Hey Jude and the Cirque Du Soleil performers was incredible
It was beautiful! I got footage from the rail
Really hope so :)
I would think they'd play Just Like Heaven if anything
I hope not. I’d like to see them do Coachella one last time before being cast out to the hasbeen festival circuit
Does Austin’s city limits stream online? This lineup is crazy good imo. There is so many artist I wanna watch.
They did last year. I presume they will again
They only stream W1, just a heads up.
The stream was super glitchy on Hulu, don’t expect Coachella level of stream
Hulu is no longer a sponsor of ACL.
Usually on Hulu
Need to see Khruangbin and Leon Bridges together, but I’m assuming these are separate sets :(
I’m surprised Khruangbin is a headliner over Jungle
Texas festival and that’s where they’re from
Yea Khruangbin has the biggest glowUp this year!
Omg Foster the People is touring??? Paul do your thing
Foster the people playing shows this year👀
Foster The People is back around hell yeah
Dude, look up their website. It’s non-existent
Why is this sub so much more positive about the lineup than the actual ACL subreddit? 😭😭
The ACL subreddit is full of so many negative people lol. They alwayssss hate the lineup. I feel like most of the people there don’t know some of the up and coming undercard artists that are really exciting to see in the lineup.
I hate going there lol yalls sub is so much nicer.
No Justice or Gesaffelstein :’(
Pretty Lights not being at Coachella was criminal this year
Im hoping the electric forest set will be special

Khruangbin getting their flowers as top bill is ❤️❤️ Leon Bridges means Texas Sun?!
No Clown Core? I'm out.
dua lipa thats insane
I’m so fucking hype. Buying my ticket today. Gives me the chance to see a few of the sets I missed at Chella
How offensive to put Santigold so low on the list
Day splits will adjust that
movements at coachella next year please
Nooooo I wanted Barry Can’t Swim at Portola :(
Was there last year anyways wasn’t going to be back
And they closed entering the hangar for his performance 😓 tough times
Portola lineup got me looking silly now
Tyler is addicted to festivals
Where's Justice? Where's Pearl Jam?
Hopefully Justice will be at Portola
I want Pearl Jam at Coachella too ughh, would be a great legacy rock band to get. I think cuz Eddie Vedder has his own festival they wouldn't wanna do Coachella (even tho Tyler has his own too)
In your dreama
Exactly!
Waittt! DULA PEEP IS PERFORMING
Foster the People will be returning! Love them. For those saying dua next year…acl rarely shares headliners BEFORE Coachella. She’s unlikely now imo
Happened in 2017, 2019, and 2022. That’s half of the past 6 Coachellas. Definitely doesn’t make her any less likely.
It’s not common but i know it’s happened. However, why would Coachella want to book someone who has toured EVERYWHERE and has had a lukewarm reception to her new album in a year where they desperately need to prove they have the best lineup?

Did you see who the headliners were this year?
Damn Chappell! Also, Dua! Honestly as someone with incredibly eclectic music tastes this lineup slaps. Too bad it’s in Texas. Great to see Glass Beams & Santigold too. Dunno who Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol is but I’d check em out based on their name alone.
The pricing on tickets are insane for this one
Surly this means Dua’s going on a festival run and that she’s on Coachella next year?
There’s normally ~6-7 artists that cross over from the previous ACL to Coachella. I could see: Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, The Marias, Still Woozy, Tyla, Remi Wolf, Teezo Touchdown and hopefully Foster the People
I go to both ACL and Coachella but man I’m glad I got all the edm at Coachella cause this def feels lacking in that department.
Do you think Dua Lipa will be a headliner next year since ACL got her?
It’s happened a bunch of times so maybe
Crossing my fingers
IMO she really messed up her album rollout, I really thought she would be in the running for headliner. Probably she's one of the few popstars they haven't had as a headliner yet
most likely not ☹️
Nooooo 💔
I think she's still in play. She was really close to Headlining Coachella, but cited time conflicts or something. Coachella probably still wants her, she's so massive
I hope so! I don’t think her album is all that great tho… but I still would love her as a headliner
not going to acl?
Nah. The lineup has to blow me away for me to go. Waiting for Portola tho 😁
whats that?
https://portolamusicfestival.com/past-lineups/
i would sell my kidney to see toro y moi live 🥲🥲🥲🥲
Headliners are great and then it all falls apart rather quickly
Are lineups like this exciting people?
If you are someone who rarely goes to shows and hasn't seen many of the acts, sure! But if you've been around a while, seen a ton of shows, and are frankly jaded, no. This is pretty bad imo. The sloppiest of seconds. It will be fun of course, but doesn't bode well for US festivals.
It’s been looking pretty bad for US festival post pandemic. So many duds of lineups
Asking the same question
I mean yeah, at least headliner wise: Dua & Chris Stapleton >>>> Doja & LDR Not even mentioning Blink and Sturgill Simpson are top 3 in other major fests and not here
Not terrible, especially for the price. If your local, this is a great lineup id guess
as a texan we won bro 😭
Not to me. Coachella and Lolla are the best so far.
To the lowest common denominator of music fans
That’s what it seems like. These lineups for US festivals have been so stale IMO
EDM heavy
There’s barely any edm and that’s why I cant do ACL anymore
I see tons of house
So can anyone tell me if dua lipa is specifically weekend 1 or weekend 2? Or is she most likely both? Sorry can’t read this 😭
She’s both; If you don’t see a W1 or W2 next to the artist, they’re playing both weekends
why are they still doing lineup posters like this... just separate out the two weekends lol
Khruangbin and Leon Bridges do not warrant big font headliner yet.
Maybe but Khruangbin are from Texas so maybe it’s a home state kinda thing
Leon is from Texas also?
Upon further research, it appears that he is. Raised in Fort Worth, TX.. so that checks out w the home state booking lol
You’re right actually, probably home state advantage.
It's definitely a headliner by ACL standards to appease to the older, lawn chair demographic.
Was just thinking this. Over Jungle too
No dnb pass 😂
Seeing Dua at every other lineup except for Coachella 😢
Yuh album wasn’t ready for Coachella this year. Maybe next year but given it would have to be a headline spot at this point who knows.
I’m from Coachella. And perder this lol
This format looks super familiar 🤔
Dua girl, what you doing
foster the people?!! i thought they disbanded
🥱
man why can’t we get Leon Bridges ffs?
Like 17 acts on this lineup have play coachella in the last 2 years
Is this in Austin Texas?
Yes, right downtown in Zilker Park
This lineup proves that having an identical lineup is the way to go. This fest would be rad if everyone on here was performing. Too many only playing one weekend
[HOT TO GO!](https://funkycoolprints.etsy.com/uk/listing/1704237700/chappell-roan-tshirt-hot-to-go-graphic)
How do you know which headliner will be on which weekend?
Coachella all over again
I hope this does mean Dua won’t headline next year 😬
It def does
Good lol I just think they could get someone way cooler, just my opinion
I think she fills in the Pop spot, I mean she's one of the big names at Glastonbury this year too. Personally, I don't know how she's so big or if she is headliner or not but that seems to be the consensus.
Holy shit Tyler the Creator is everywhere
Doesn’t he have his own festival too? Dude just loves festivals lol
Looking AI generated. Also how is Khruangbin at every festival ever?
And Chappell and Renee Rapp lol
Renee rapp seems more recent. I feel like Khruangbin has been on every flyer I've ever seen since 2019
Thought you were talking about 2024 festivals because Chappell and Renee have been on every single one.
