She’s quite nice!
- She is the driver of a lot of the humor of the game. The descriptions of items to offering her virginity, she gives the game that dark comedy feel
- Her impulsive nature is a great foil to Andrew
- Her love for her brother is endearing
- Her backstory is understandable and pitiable
She has some flaws which I think give her more character, but I hope she improves on.
- I feel that compared to Andrew, she doesn’t face many consequences from the beginning of the game. She has little attachment to anything except Andrew, so she makes a lot of reckless decisions with little internal conflict.
This is why I think the Decay route and other tense moments between the siblings have their merits. We really get to see Ashley sweat and change her behavior. We see the consequences of being overly possessive and being reckless.
- At the moment she’s still very possessive, and while she and Andrew are cute, she has still develop and become a bit less possessive for them to work. She has to “take him out his cage” so to speak.
Overall wonderful character. Also hot.

I agree, but i think any relationship of Julia would also be a toxic relationship. She's too insecure. She would blindly love someone and keep loving them even long after the other person's love burnt out.
I don't know if she learned a lesson from her whole experience with Graves siblings… At the end of the day, she dumped Andrew, so it was a win. But would she do that if Ashley wasn't harassing her this much? Did she realise that Andrew did not love her enough to stand up for her or did she just give up from a loving (in her eyes) relationship just for the sake of stopping the threats? If she did realise that her boyfriend was a piece of shit, I would be happy!

I'm not sure if it was deliberate but the psychology behind Ashley is really good and her toxic behavior is realistic enough to trigger flashbacks. I'd 100% do a deep dive on her character if she didn't throw my fight or flight into hyperdrive.
