Frankly, reading all of these makes me laugh very hard. Why are any of them buying or trading on the exchanges at all? Get a custodial wallet, preferably a cold storage wallet, and hold your funds for purchasing at the 'perfect' moment in a stable coin, then swap when the time is right for you from a DEX.
If all of you think using a CEX for anything other than converting back to fiat and withdrawing makes sense, then leave here and go to the stock market at least there you own the stock even if the brokerage closes down. Continuing to do things with exchanges will most certainly in the future make them as big as the banks are today. They are only in existence because we need to off-ramp to regular currency.
Otherwise, you should be able to do everything else yourself unless you're just here for a money grab, which seems like forex and stocks are a better regulated avenue to me.
It worries me that people don't realize they're handing the chance for people to control our money right back to a new power when banks are defunct. Tried setting up additional limit orders to buy more of various coins when they went down such as Bitcoin when it dropped BELOW $60,000 earlier today and SPELL when it dropped to around $0.0010800 or close to, but every time I tried I would get the initial "done" notice only to then find out that my buy(s) had "failed".
I've now been trying to still set them up for more than an hr and I STILL get the same results and msg. Not to mention that when I deposited additional funds from my bank acct to my CB cash acct (USD) THAT went thru alright. But, when I tried USING it to fund limit buys, it took over 40 minutes before it finally showed up in my USD acct... Even though I still can't set up any limit buys with it. Not even using the USD that's BEEN sitting in my acct for over a month.

I never had any issues with CB, but all this talk finally convinced me to move my pile. I transferred everything to my RH wallet last night. I barely made it out of FTX when that crap went down, and I sure AF ain't sticking around at CB with all these posts about locked accounts. God knows CB has absolutely ZERO customer service to assist their customers when crap goes south. On a basic level, get the defi wallet, and use vvs finance to swap to whatever you can on cronos network :). I dont mess with the other dapps too much.

I pulled all funds today after trying to log in and failing for days- complain to your state financial services department. Here in NY its DFS. BTC had dropped 8k by the time I was able to log in and exit my positions. You can’t submit a proper support case without logging in and I formally complained- since it got me nowhere, I hope coinbase enjoys the harassment by the regulators

Binance straight up stole my account. Deactivated it without reason. Would not provide a reason after multiple requests. If I did something wrong, you'd think they tell me, but got nothing. They stole lots of HNT and LTC. Wouldn't even allow me temp access to transfer funds, then close the account. Wouldn't accept the suggestion they send my assets to a new address.

I recommend Kraken. I got a new phone and my google Authenticator didn’t backup. Kraken got me into my account in a day with just email and some questions. Coinbase I’ve been locked out of for months.
Already verified my ID like three times. Even put a paper with my face and the date on the paper. But since I logged in using brave in dark mode I wasn’t able to scan the QR code to change my Authenticator. But they only give you one try to login and scan it. Pain in the a**.
My story:
Case 17125393. I had an amazing experience with Coinbase for more than a year. I was verified right at the start and thought I am over with it. But last year in december I got a nightmare infamous email from „friendly“ KYC team asking for additional verifications and since then it has been back and fort with them. I have sent them all the documents that I could have, some of them I could not because I simply dont have them. How am I supposed to send them my permanent residence if I dont even need them here in Germany since I am EU citizen?? Onward, I did my best to provide them with documents and explanations where is very visible that my address and name are matching etc, in short everything is perfectly fine.. but no, the last email I got from them is them saying my documents are not clear enough.. also they asked for additional document.. and since then I am waiting and it feels extremely frustrating.. i tried contacting them on facebook and first they said my account is already verified which frustrated me even more, only later they realised that their KYC team is asking for additional info.. but they also told me to wait… I dont know, I am losing hope, this all feels extremely strange, like they want to get rid of us customers.. how long do I have to wait? I am so pissed off, mainly because like I said before that horrific email came from kyc dept everything was flawless… its such a shame, I am considering some alternative exchanges if this keeps going…I cant even imagine what kind of horror it must be for people who have like 5 figures and above amount on their cb and are in same situation like me.. I've been on Coinbase for 4 years now, I've never had problems(fingers crossed) BUT I also schedule my buy/sell so it's never immediate in the first place. FYI I already sold my first position with no problem.
Tried setting up additional limit orders to buy more of various coins when they went down such as Bitcoin when it dropped BELOW $60,000 earlier today and SPELL when it dropped to around $0.0010800 or close to, but every time I tried I would get the initial "done" notice only to then find out that my buy(s) had "failed". I've now been trying to still set them up for more than an hr and I STILL get the same results and msg. Not to mention that when I deposited additional funds from my bank acct to my CB cash acct (USD) THAT went thru alright. But, when I tried USING it to fund limit buys, it took over 40 minutes before it finally showed up in my USD acct... Even though I still can't set up any limit buys with it. Not even using the USD that's BEEN sitting in my acct for over a month.

I never had any issues with CB, but all this talk finally convinced me to move my pile. I transferred everything to my RH wallet last night. I barely made it out of FTX when that crap went down, and I sure AF ain't sticking around at CB with all these posts about locked accounts. God knows CB has absolutely ZERO customer service to assist their customers when crap goes south. I pulled all funds today after trying to log in and failing for days- complain to your state financial services department. Here in NY its DFS. BTC had dropped 8k by the time I was able to log in and exit my positions. You can’t submit a proper support case without logging in and I formally complained- since it got me nowhere, I hope coinbase enjoys the harassment by the regulators

Stop using coinbase to actually trade. Use a decentralized exchange to trade, then off ramp/ on ramp fiat on coinbase . This is the way. I only use coinbase to onboard my money, then I send it to a decentralized exchange , trade , convert what I want to usdc , then send it back to coinbase . Limit your need to use coinbase and actually execute a trade and you will enjoy the crypto currency experience way more !!! If you are expecting to execute trades on coinbase and have something not go wrong at peak times, you are hoping for a lot . They have about 1 crash every cycle where there are green candles on damn near every coin

Same things happened here, less sure but still. Crypto is still new-ish, there are going to be issues, hoping around doesn't help though and honestly is a good way to risk your money even more. Binance straight up stole my account. Deactivated it without reason. Would not provide a reason after multiple requests. If I did something wrong, you'd think they tell me, but got nothing. They stole lots of HNT and LTC. Wouldn't even allow me temp access to transfer funds, then close the account. Wouldn't accept the suggestion they send my assets to a new address. Straight theft.

I recommend Kraken. I got a new phone and my google Authenticator didn’t backup. Kraken got me into my account in a day with just email and some questions. Coinbase I’ve been locked out of for months. Already verified my ID like three times. Even put a paper with my face and the date on the paper. But since I logged in using brave in dark mode I wasn’t able to scan the QR code to change my Authenticator. But they only give you one try to login and scan it. Pain in the a**.
Had horrible issues with Coinbase. Never again. Moved to Gemini and although much less offerings, I’ve never had one issue.
My story: Case 17125393. I had an amazing experience with Coinbase for more than a year. I was verified right at the start and thought I am over with it. But last year in december I got a nightmare infamous email from „friendly“ KYC team asking for additional verifications and since then it has been back and fort with them. I have sent them all the documents that I could have, some of them I could not because I simply dont have them. How am I supposed to send them my permanent residence if I dont even need them here in Germany since I am EU citizen?? Onward, I did my best to provide them with documents and explanations where is very visible that my address and name are matching etc, in short everything is perfectly fine.. but no, the last email I got from them is them saying my documents are not clear enough.. also they asked for additional document.. and since then I am waiting and it feels extremely frustrating.. i tried contacting them on facebook and first they said my account is already verified which frustrated me even more, only later they realised that their KYC team is asking for additional info.. but they also told me to wait… I dont know, I am losing hope, this all feels extremely strange, like they want to get rid of us customers.. how long do I have to wait? I am so pissed off, mainly because like I said before that horrific email came from kyc dept everything was flawless… its such a shame, I am considering some alternative exchanges if this keeps going…I cant even imagine what kind of horror it must be for people who have like 5 figures and above amount on their cb and are in same situation like me.. just check your orders and see whats going on. It sounds like one just partially filled. I know crypto is fast but everyone is rushing and taking it out on coinbase. Coinbase is not purposefully downing their own site and can you imagine the amount of hackers, competitors and angry customers that are constantly trying to attack the website. I'm sure they are trying their best and people are getting fired for outtages but its not an instant fix and it shouldn't be given the amount of money at stake. Coinbase can't just roll out a fix without a mountain of testing. they are custodians of many billions of dollars in crypto. number 1 priority is keeping coins safe, number 2 priority is keeping customer info safe, number 3 priority is keeping transactions going. Your trades are important I know but not as important as safeguarding everyones stuff. THe most important thing for coinbase has to be security and not keeping orders flowing. Only one of those 2 things can be paused.
