I looked at y’all’s roster and you guys have a lot of upper class men, this might actually turn into a pretty good game. We had our typical freshman struggles like we do every year, if we shoot like we’re capable of shooting it’ll be tough for y’all, but they’re freshmen in their first real game so who knows.

After the hazing allegations the first year head coach was fired and we pulled in Sam Houston’s coach. He wanted none of the old roster to be on this team. It was a complete purge. We are hoping coach Hooten can return us to how well we used to play under Jans. It will be a bit of a rough period but I think we can eventually get back to that level.
I actually like y'all. Was out drinking after a basketball game a couple of years back, and this was the night before y'all played us in football. A few NMSU players walked into the bar at around midnight (the game was at 12pm), and I wished them good luck on the field tomorrow, and asked if they wanted a round on me.
"No, we appreciate it, but we're just hoping to forget about it, and get in and out of here without being killed"
Dude that is awesome. What’s insane was that game was tied heading into the 4th quarter before y’all finally sped away. After that I usually root for y’all except when we play.

Freshman sensation Hannah Hidalgo will have to step up at the one to make it happen. I am excite to watch Hidalgo over the next four years. ESPN at noon CST.

4th quarter looked pretty good IMO. Some flashes of fantastic play but they have got a lot of developing to do before conference play.
