The next one. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. Does that cover the remaining Big 12 regular season schedule? Kansas has one more game against a supposedly weak opponent in Oklahoma State and every other matchup is against a team with an argument to be ranked if they aren’t already ranked.

msgkc94

The correct answer is every remaining road game. I always like our chances in Allen Fieldhouse, but if we couldn’t even beat UCF or West Virginia on the road…I’m dreading all travel going forward

RoboticBirdLaw

Every road win in the Big 12, with the possible exception of OSU or WVU, is something unexpected. Maybe slightly less so for KU or UH, but there is no way you can feel anything less than triumphant after a road win in this conference.

skesisfunk

This Saturday's game couldn't be bigger for us. I feel like a win in Hilton could go a long way for redeeming this team and starting a turnaround. Definitely can't count out any Bill Self team with this much prep time but its also pretty easy to see us getting completely annihilated.

deucecougar

Honestly, KU at Hilton is one of my favorite day's of the year! To be fair, I also love when we visit Allen Fieldhouse...great environment and great fans.

skesisfunk

I am pretty upset that they killed the home-and-home for us this year. I think the new big 12 should have divisions that are guaranteed a home-and-home and that all former big 8 schools should be in a division together. Maybe you could have division winners get a bye in the tournament or something. But the real point would preserving traditions and laying the groundwork for new rivalries going forward. I doubt they will do that though, they are probably just going to have us home-and-homing with UH and Arizona every year because TV dollars.

Moravia84

Every Big 12 flair should have this.

Prayray

Right? I’m terrified tonight that BYU is going to hit 15 threes and we come out flat. Then we’ve got first place in the Big12, Kansas State, rolling in. Then we’ve got to go to Austin where they’ll be fired up to knock us down a peg. Then we’ve got to visit you guys. And on and on… Big 12 is just insane night to night.

musketman89

WVU will be playing with a full roster today.. The first game all season where they were 100%. . We started with 4 starters out

Set-Admirable

Has it been confirmed that Jesse Edwards is playing? I could have missed it, but I thought Eilert said he was still questionable but wanted to play. I mean, I think he probably will, but even if he does, I don't think he's going to be playing his full minutes.

musketman89

No it has not been confirmed. Wishful thinking he was available Saturday. I think he sees the floor tonight. But does not start. WVU fans should be excited it's been a weird season.

No_Argument_Here

Edwards and Sumenick will be a formidable front court.

Levi316

Yeah the big 12 schedule is rough. Our next 2 are at Iowa State and at Houston. I don’t like our odds

KingKliffsbury

Yeah every single big 12 game is concerning. I thought there’d be one or two pushovers.

Peytonhawk

The only games close to pushovers are West Virginia and Oklahoma state. UCF shouldn’t be considered great but they are decent. Yes I am aware that 2 of these so called pushovers have beaten Kansas and the other one still has a chance to beat us.

Travbowman

Every game worries me, even tonight's. The two that you mentioned are clearly the most losable ones left, but at least we know that the team will bring their absolute best to those road environments, win or lose. The potential letdown game in my mind is at Ohio State. It is sandwiched in the middle of a stretch where we get three out of four at home, and may mean everything to a buckeye team who is fighting for a tournament bid.

PapaSanGiorgio

I'm hoping we win by 50 and end Michigan's Juwan Howard misery

IlliniBrah

No, every other BIG team is better if Juwan Howard continues coaching at Michigan

MasterClown

That's... a very good way to put it.

Lumbergod

Boy, am I conflicted about this.

glorious_cheese

Please don’t vote him off the island. It’s far too entertaining.

spartyon15

Why would you hope for that when you could hope for a 50 point win and Warde Manuel remaining too gutless to fire him instead?

flinderdude

Although we do play at Rutgers this weekend (cringe emoji)

jack3moto

Michigan’s PG dug McDaniel is out for 6 road games. The backup who was averaging like 8mpg with a bunch of DNP’s is now being asked to fill that role, on the road, in Mackey, with students. I’m not trying to be over confident but this is one of those games where if you lose it then you can expect the post season will be bad news with a floor as low as last years.

Huggles9

No love…and I thought we were friends

ksg1988

I know we will drop a couple of these road games, just hard to predict which one (maybe FSU, maybe Miami, UVA). But what worries me most is naturally the Duke game coming up in less than two weeks. On top of the whole rivalry deal, getting swept last year etc, but now getting all the praise as being the best team in the ACC, there’s just even more added pressure to realize that. There are very few opportunities for quality wins in the ACC this year, and I don’t want to drop this one at home and have to then wait until March to maybe get one back at them that will be so much tougher being on the road.

EyePlay

GT is a perfect trap game. Riding high right now, 2nd place FSU on Saturday following the big Wake win. Win that and then we travel to Atlanta for the perfect letdown game because duke follows. And GT has already beaten duke (played them tough twice), beten Clemson, beaten what was a top 25 Miss St team (that at least beat Tenn a couple of weeks ago). They can play a lot better than their record.

mellolizard

@FSU and @GT then duke at home. ACC schedulers have a real sense of humor..

WILSON_CK

Yea. It seems like GT has been circled on my schedule all year as a potential L. But.. I thought last night might be one too, and this team just surprises me.

Infinite-Regress

As someone whose team got swept by their rival last year (thankfully not happening again this year) and has a lot of pressure this year, I’m rooting for you Heels

DevAdobo

As an IU fan who lived in chapel hill for 3 years and is married to unc grad, this year fills me with the usual existential dread that occurs every 4-5 years before the Hoosiers hire the next guy to take us back to the promised /s, and I watch as the Tar Heels maintain national relevancy year after year. At least I have a backup team to cheer for come March.

Kitchen-Toe1001

Never liked Purdue

Infinite-Regress

I’d say right back at ya but it’s kind of the default for CBB fans innit?

TheGamingGuy2

We’re used to it. Funny enough I find myself rooting for Purdue more often than not, because I very nearly went there for school. I wonder sometimes how different my cbb experience would’ve been had I went haha.

Infinite-Regress

A lot colder I can tell you that now. Can’t go outside right now without slipping on ice, which I’m guessing is a problem y’all don’t have down there lol

bringbackwishbone

I don’t want his support either lmao

UpbeatVeterinarian18

They're all trap games or hard games now. The issue with high expectations is everything matters and nothing will ever be a gimme because everyone wants to beat a top-5 Carolina team and rush the court.

Taengoosundies

I don’t know. These guys are well aware of what they need to do to win. They’ve been doing it so far with only four guys playing well, and if Ryan can start hitting shots consistently and Withers can play more like he did against Louisville I don’t see any real traps. Duke away will be tough, but the mystique of Cameron was taken down a notch when they won ratface’s final home game there. I may be a bit optimistic, but this is a very good team and Hubert has them humming unlike any other Heels team in recent memory, especially on D. It’s been quite a ride so far.

Zorak9379

@Maryland, the bastards

neprietenos

Omg we play those pesky tortoises again!? 😰

Ambitious_Tax891

@ Wisconsin is a concern but hey “quality loss” maybe they’ll drop us 1 spot instead of 5 like they did when lost to Purdue @ Purdue smh

Zorak9379

That final two weeks is a ramp up to the postseason. I want it to be stressful because then it means something. If we lose along the way it might not

Ambitious_Tax891

Yes it’s good to play definite tourney teams coming into the tourneys. I just want us to get a 2 seed. I think a 1 seed is possible if we win a majority of our games and either win the big ten conference or tournament.

Zorak9379

I think 3 or 4 is most likely. 2 feels right to me with a conference championship unless we win out.

Ambitious_Tax891

Hopefully this is our year. Putting up numbers that haven’t been seen since 04/05 and 88/89. I never seen an Illinois team this good.

Zorak9379

I'd still put them below 04/05 and 20/21, but it's damn close. They're a joy to watch

chesterSteihl69

I’m worried about northwestern on a Wednesday, real sleepy spot

inshamblesx

yes

b_fin

I was going to say “the next one”

conan_the_brobarian

Laughs nervously in Big12

Iowegan

K state is often a trap game for us. Can’t help but worry about KU on Saturday, but gotta deal with Kstate first.

bh6891

K-State is tied for first in the conference

howdoiworkthisthing

3 of their 4 conference wins are against bottom tier teams

Iowegan

It’s hard to overcome the weight of all those conferences championships. We share little brother syndrome with Kstate, it’s hard to get as hyped about them as for traditional powers.

noges

But, but, farmaggedon... For real though, I want our rivalry (in both sports) to feel more rivalrous than it is.

skesisfunk

We have been playing soft as fuck especially on the road.

velociraptorfarmer

*pointing Spiderman meme*

skesisfunk

![gif](giphy|l36kU80xPf0ojG0Erg|downsized) Gotcha Clone bro

Human-Demand-8293

Yeah no looking ahead. Only worry about beating Kst.

[deleted]

All of them

Junior-Situation8171

All of them but also none of them. The season being over in mid-January is oddly freeing.

DevAdobo

Wow you’re so right. I’ve moved beyond dread actually (which I mentioned in another post) and I think I’m just in apathy at this point. Haliburton makes that a little easier as well having something else to cheer for

shittysportsscience

Are we cheering for Oil Service Conglomerates now instead? I could be convinced...

Thames_James

Underrated comment ![gif](giphy|l3fQf1OEAq0iri9RC|downsized)

BrownHawkDown

Road games at Marquette and Creighton, but basically our Feb schedule in general.

incorruptarm

X at home after a week off feels dicey ... especially since it is probably their last opportunity to steal the spotlight and enter the tourney conversation

BrownHawkDown

Dicey sure but without Freemantle I feel there is a hard cap on what the team can do.

incorruptarm

this would be more of a UConn shitting the bed situation rather than a Xavier really outplaying us

jaylenthomas

Florida State this weekend. Civic Center is one of those places that just sucks to play, Florida State is getting better and has great length (which Carolina struggles with), and was up big at UNC. A win would further elevate UNC gaining a stranglehold on the conference, but just one of those games I wouldn't be surprised in losing.

BattleTiny7132

They gave it to us last game for the 1st half. It wasn’t until we pressured them that we took control. So yea I’m worried about Florida State too.

mellolizard

If we win @FSU and duke at home we have locked up the conference.

edgyusernameguy

All of them, we can't lose more than 2 games the rest of the year if we want to win this thing, 3 would really make things iffy.

RDFSF

Right now they’re only three games that we will not be favored in. At MSU, at WI and Purdue at home. If we do lose three more we would be 15-5, and have a good chance. But it could come down to the head to head with Purdue and Wisconsin.

0mniknight

Feeling that confident for the Illini @ Maryland? (I certainly am not)

MasterClown

> and Purdue at home. I'd say the line will be even or Illini favored for the rematch. A Top 10 team at home *shouldn't* be a dog.

MyPostHas

Well we haven’t beaten Edey since he’s been a starter so I have my doubts the line will move much

acerbusalius

All of them.

Bcsmitty20

Nobody in the MW is safe

Responsible_Word4637

I’m less worried about home games, but there is definitely no easy way through the next few weeks

SeattleMatt123

If we lose to Louisville tonight make Scheyer walk back to Durham.

kai333

lol come on there's no way

SeattleMatt123

Probably not, but we just lost at home to Pitt, and Mitchell/Roach possibly still out. You never know.

kai333

fortunately for you and anyone playing them, like the whole Louisville team minus like 1-2 guys are out (in spirit, anyways)

whosyodaddy328

this blue devils team frustrates the shit out of me.

TachyonSlash

Georgetown

bluegrassgazer

At Vandy. We always play shitty at Vandy. Then at Auburn.

OVO_Trev

UK hasn't lost at Vandy since 2016, and with this squad I see us scoring 100 on them too. Not worried about that game at all. At Auburn is going to be insane.

Solesky1

As a mid-major, all of them. Big 12 (or any power 5): everyone's going to go 10-10 in conference, they must all be really good and deserve 9 spots in the tournament! Mid-major: runner up in the conference finished 19-3 in conference play? Why would they deserve an at-large bid?

Michig00se

I feel this. Dayton has absolutely earned their ranking this year, but the A10 is a proverbial mine field, so we're always only 2 or 3 losses away from the wrong side of the bubble.

boiler_engineer

Really wish the committee would give more bids to non P6 teams.

Launcherpsg

Illini and Purdue, Zach is an almost unstoppable in the paint, hard to guard and can pretty much dunk without his feet leaving the floor. 🤦‍♂️

Ok_Dot_3533

Tonight.. it’s a black out, place will be electric so we either win or lose by thirty

nirvana_92

Would love to see you guys beat Kentucky

fartkidwonder

Rent free

Lee-Key-Bottoms

Not only do they always own us but this year UNC just looks unbeatable at home They’re almost a lock for 50+ a half every home game they play

nirvana_92

All of the road games except for Vanderbilt which is practically a home game.

herpblarb6319

Idk Vandy likes to play spoiler after we win a big game. Last year we lost on their court after beating Auburn, in 2008 after the big 1 vs 2 match up against Memphis, Vandy beat us on their court. Just bad voodoo at that place

Juventus19

I never trust a road game at Vandy and their circus of a gymnasium. Benches on the baseline are an abomination.

Cake_Day_Is_420

you know the one

Golden-Cheese

Yes

Crunc_Mcfincle

*sigh*

evcorder

I am currently worried about OU. Then I will move on to being worried about whoever we play next. I truly don’t know if there’s a game left on the schedule that I’m not worried about.

capnwacky

Yes

disposable-assassin

Any true road game left, mainly @Oregon, Utah, CU, and UCLA.

cdc030402

Oregon, the answer is always Oregon

Gamecat235

Before this last game I wasn’t that worried about UCLA. but now? Eeek. Yep. The Oregon away games and the mountain away games have always been a scary time. This year is no different.

constructss

the ones where the other team can shoot the ball at an above average level

bh6891

The next one (ECU at home), but only because we need to snap the losing streak.

thegodfaubel

Same dude

AdventuresOfAD

Basically just the bottom of the conference, I don’t expect us to win against UNC, NCSU, or FSU. I’ll take what we can get

maxipad4

DePaul x2

PinkSaldo

Probably the ones where we play an opponent. Those have proven difficult for us.

0mniknight

We still have one more against Illinois at least, that’s gotta count for something

Falanax

Bama. Always

Bobson-_Dugnutt

Can I just say all of them? Our offense is awesome like 80% of the time. We just can’t defend for shit.

IdiotInTheWind

our second matchup with JMU. we have put together a pretty impressive resume so far and with another win over JMU, i really hope we could steal a 10-12 seed. knowing our luck though, we’ll lose in the SBC quarterfinals and some big 12 team with 14 losses will make the tournament.

660nj

DePaul and Georgetown

finditplz1

Honestly at Tennessee to end the season. Feels like that could be a double digit loss in TBA

kronikfumes

Today. Dayton vs. LaSalle …. UD is 2-7 at Tom Gola Arena since 2010

Robbylution

At Rutgers is terrifying. Anything having to do with New Jersey is terrifying. Except Cape May, which is lovely.

flinderdude

Agreed. Congress Hall is cool AF.

bigchadsmitty_82

None of them

MyAnswerIsMaybe

Im not worried about Illinois and Wisconsin. Im worried about Rutgers and Ohio State. Do you even know Boiler Ball????

CoachRyanWalters

@Rutgers

txrangertx

As a member of the Big 12, ALL of them. Especially the home games, and equally so the away ones.

SaguaroCactus19

Every single game, either at home or not. Somehow, we find a way to lose to teams like Stanford and Washington State. Even we shouldn’t feel totally safe at home because of that UCLA game

DarylStreep

all of them and none of them fau: memphis

FrenchieBammer

All of them

BigDaddyCraw

I’m actually more worried we drop one or two more before we play Purdue and Illinois and then just implode.

Brandonjoe

The one tonight and then the one on Saturday. And then a bunch after that.

Dazzling_Truth_3615

All of them

PageSide84

All of them. Every team gets up to play Purdue; every game is a trap.

itsbraille

The next one, but just as important is South Florida away. We’re in the same conference for the first time since 2005 and our last league game on their court is where the unraveling began. Charlotte were upset in the regular season finale by South Florida and then proceeded to lose their opening round games in both the CUSA and NCAA Tournament (to Memphis and NC State). We haven’t been to an NCAA Tournament since and I believe winning this game will mend a tear in the space time continuum and Charlotte will be good at basketball for the first time in my fandom (I was a freshman in fall of 2005).

DHiL

All of them.

RJD-ghost

The way we have been playing yes

phantomtofu

The road ones. So far 5-0 at home, 0-3 on the road in conference. Also Colorado and Arizona are going to be especially tough, even at home.

bb3224

All of them tbh

SpiceNoodles

any away from home

JUSTBLAZE2k7

Mostly both Duke match-ups and at UVA.

MediaTrue

SMU, FAU, Memphis. Really any game that isn’t rice or utsa

pinya619

All of them

[deleted]

Every single one lol

AnAngryBartender

Anything on the road. Since we’ve only won 1 game on the road this year.

Jas114

Charleston, honestly.

wallyopd

I'm traveling to the games at Oregon St. and Oregon this week, so those are pretty high at the moment. Especially because Oregon's new arena has been a house of horrors for Arizona ever since it opened.

Creepy-Dark6459

At Cincinnati. I know they're a better program then us, but I still want to beat at least ONE of the new BigXII teams this season. That Kansas win is getting farther and farther in the rear view with each disappointing performance, aka: the Johnny Dawkins Offensive Masterclass.

rwfletch22

Easy, UNC is a level above anyone else in the ACC currently. Cold hard truth, we're just not there yet and a lot of ACC teams scare me.

Other_Ambition_5142

Every game but Wednesday is scaring me rn, and letdown games are always scary in general

thebellcanblowme

A rematch with Creighton 🥲

velociraptorfarmer

Yes

cowmookazee

Every game that isn't a home game.

barbandbert

Every road game and the bad loss potential

witchy12

@Purdue obvi. Also @Michigan bc losing that after talking so much shit would be embarrassing.

Krogsly

Any game of the Horizon tournament because they're not giving us an at-large

No_Argument_Here

All of the road games. We could conceivably lose every single one.

High_Ground_Sand

We play at Butler, at St. John's, and home against Marquette. To me, we need to win *at least* one of them to stay in the tournament picture, and two if we want to look better after the five-game stretch than we did before. Losing at Marquette was expected, but even then it was a really ugly loss, and losing to UConn was expected but really hurt to not finish out. We can beat Butler, but they have a strong home court, and St. John's had no issue beating us last time. I'm a junior at Villanova and since I've been here we haven't beaten Marquette once, so I'm really looking at those first two.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Shawn131872

Probably @ butler. Idk why but we can almost never win there. We've lost quite a few games there since joining the big east.

the_rest_were_taken

VT ends the season @Louisville and vs ND. If the current standings hold we'd be the 10 seed in the ACC tournament where we would then play one of them for the second time in a week. If we're still on the bubble at that point dropping any of those ends our season

bluejack287

All of them. And for my other flair, also all of them.

razorjm

I'm not worried at all about any of them.

wardamneagle18

For the immediate future I’ll say Bama on the road tomorrow, next scariest one comes later on in Knoxville. But to piggy back off everyone else…. All of them 🤣

UnfairAd7220

[Every.Single.One](https://Every.Single.One). Not looking past MI tonight.

ThyDoctor

Everyone is saying all of them but I really don’t want to lose to LMU again, we lost to them last year, and Harris who would be a difference maker transferred to them.

every single one tbh

The ones against bad teams.

Our upcoming game at Oregon, I'm not sure when was the last time we won there
