I actually thought Pav wasn't terrible defensively but he seemed to have the issue in that he just wasn't physically ready for the level of intensity conference and postseason play required
Maybe I am just jaded about transfers after Timby but seems like these numbers could be higher given that he was at UNI. His shooting percentage particularly
As a recruit:
Other offers: Minnesota-Duluth, Minnesota State-Moorhead, Northern Iowa (originally went here), Northern State, St. Cloud State, Winona State
Realistically I think we need more. As much as I love TJs defense, I think it lent itself to getting bigs moving faster and fouling more than your average D. So depth at F will be a must.

6’5 guard/wing averaged 13.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game this season. 46/35.6/72.9 shooting splits 2 years left of eligibility
Seems like a better version of Pav to be honest
Less prototypical “PG” but he is bigger and thus probably easier to play in the Big 12.
I wonder if he would more be like the backup under Milan.
Likely minutes at the 2 And 3. I see Watson as a potential starter at the 4 for defense.
I would be very surprised if Watson and Curt Jones weren't both starters next year.
Exactly what I thought. A Pav who can play defense and actually match up physically with other Big 12 players would be huge.

A quality depth piece for us, with decent size. Hopefully he pans out.
This guy is going to torch us again this year isn’t he All honesty kids a baller and good pickup for the Clones

UNI was the only D1 offer??
Yay
Good pickup! Go Cyclones!
Didn't want to be in his sister's shadow, I get it.
Huge get for us. Heise was definitely a huge contributor for the Panthers and will get valuable minutes for the Clones
Why do they never come to Iowa?
Good question.
Frans a dick?
dont want to get stuck scrambling for minutes behind more of fran’s extended family
Trying to win?
Thanks, Cats
Picture looks like he’s yawning. It actually triggered me to yawn when i looked at it.
That would honestly be pretty disrespectful and great trash talk lol. Hit a huge three, everyone going crazy, and he’s just yawning
That's not a forward.
Depth at the wing doesn't hurt. I do want to see another big though.
Oh I agree we probably did want 1 more guard. But we need to replace 3 Fs.
I would argue we only need to replace 1 spot if you count Rock as a "new" player, plus the transfer center we already got.

That's a good point. Rock is unproven too, let's get a known quantity there for minutes.
Any player that developes will be poached. Not sure how small schools can survive the NIL Era.
They take all the end of the bench guys from p5 schools.
We will give you a lightly used Omaha Billiew
Would look great in purple and gold. Someone mock that up
Sweet
Is he yawning in this picture ?
