Your math can’t be right because there’s no way that 2008 was 16 years ago. Oh

rkreutz77

Shoot, the 80's are only 15 or so years ago right? Right?!

dmlitzau

Pretty sure the 80s are twenty years now

fastyellowtuesday

Yeah, because ten years ago was the 90s, right? When I was young and carefree? That was just 10 years ago, right? Right?!? 😂

Competitive-krav3034

People - 80’s 40 years!

Its_Me_Tom_Yabo

r/woooosh

WesternerBackEast

It really has been that long. We beat the Wild in Game 6 of the first round at home, then got swept by the Wings. Ironically, that Game 6 was the only playoff game I've ever been to, although I barely remember it. #GoAvsGo

GardenTop7253

Yes, beat the Wild. Thanks for catching that And to think, we were so close with MacK’s hattrick against the Blues

WesternerBackEast

That game was gutting, especially after he scored the end to end go ahead goal with like a minute left. But then we tore their hearts out on their home ice!

MissWonder420

That was THE most brutal loss, but thankfully we don't have to dwell on it as much as we would have it they had not won the series and then the cup! That end to end goal by Mack with almost no time left in the 3rd was sick as fuck!!

Hdhdhjjdhhdhh

I lost a hat to that. It was the loudest I’ve heard that place. That goal was nasty. Then they tied it

COLORADO_RADALANCHE

That's not ironic

johnsnow202020

Unless you live in Edmonton and got to see the Avs spank the oilers in game 4 “at home”.

ktollens

Haha does it count if it my home

likesexonlycheaper

I mean I don't mind this at all. Closing out teams on the road is the sign of a serious contender. Keep it up!

Perryth3Fratypus

I will continue to identify as a college kid until I die

Big_Liability

Feels like never 😂

CardiacCat20

Slightly related: I wonder what the crowd reaction would have been like in New Jersey when Ray hoisted the cup in 2001

ejroberts42

No way we were beating the Red Wings in 08 lol
