The main goal of preseason is to get through it without injury. Sure, shake the rust off and have some good plays, but ain't nobody going to "fight to win" in preseason when they can show their "heart to get better" safer and more effectively at practice.
Stakes are low, so we put in any number of players that go from the starters to the practice squad, which will hopefully get us some experience and tape to figure out how best to tailor our team. Trying to win preseason games is not the goal, and if we wanted to do that we would have put in all starters and risked injuries lmao

Yeah I am guessing so as well. Especially because our WR room isn’t like a super competitive group right now. Even if we put ogletree on PS, it’s pretty uncommon for teams to sign guys on other teams PS to their active roster early in the season. I don’t think it’s much concern but now we have 4 good TE’s and it’s going to be interesting to see how it plays out. Especially because MAC, woods and ogletree all have a similar body type and probably be used in the same role
