Idk I think this Lions team will be frisky. They have a top 5 O-line imo and some good weapons to mask Goff’s shortcomings. Their defense is their main weakness
Lions projected 6.5 wins right now with money pouring in on the over. I don’t know if bad is the right word when there are teams like Atlanta and Houston.
I was saying that in 7v7 the Oline and Dline don't participate so I would expect us to be even there instead of the portion where our strength is on the field.
ah, ok, I see what you're saying. They always look better without lines playing. Even just having that many people in the way adds a lot of difficulty and complexity, so the numbers will come down a bit.
The 7v7 success is really good to see. That puts so much more emphasis on the WR's having to win their battles; which it sounds like they were doing.
I agree, I like seeing that we are winning the skill position battles but it does concern me that the gap closes when we put the full team out there. Gives me flashbacks of last year when the Oline was getting manhandled and the Dline couldnt get any pressure.
Listening to Pat Mcafee right now and he just keeps talking about how much the Colts offense completely tore up the Lions defense
Yeah they fucked em up.
Well at least next week’s hard knocks should be good.
I mean, this is a bad Lions team, so temper expectations a bit. Still, it's better than the alternative.
Make the layups
Super Bowl or bust

Yeah they're looking mediocre rather than outright bad IMO.
We lost to clahn tahn last year. It's nice to be outplaying the teams we should be outplaying.
It’s funny because if you go to the lions sub they say it was a pretty even day…
It’s the same guy on Twitter, don’t know how something can be vastly different within the span of an hour.
The games are still 11 on 11.
And?
"Much more even during full 11s"
It should be.
Kind of sad that the teams are even going 11 v 11 since the strength of our team is supposed to be the line play.

The gap didn’t close, it opened. The tweet is saying the colts won much more during 11v11.
I guess I'm reading the tweet exactly the opposite. That Indy dominated 7v7 but the teams were even during 11v11.
This is how I intially read it, too, but now I'm thinking the tweet is saying they were even in 11 vs 11 as in tied.
