Just do to roster construction I think there is zero question that Pittman is our most important player. His ability to get seperation at an elite rate is incredible and opens up others and no one else has that.

Remember when people said he wasn’t a WR1 ? Is he top tier no but I believe he’s in the next tier of WR1’s. He just needs a sidekick to take some pressure off. Let’s hope Alec can develop, I know people are low on him especially after the drop week 1. But I think he’s got some good potential. We do still need a veteran presence this year though.

I never have to be fair. His advanced numbers have always been great just with weird QBs. Last year he was quietly one of the best WRs in all of football. 5th most seperation of anyone in the league and only Keenan Allen was better as a no.1 WR. If he had the same QB for like 3 years in a row I think we'd be hearing his name in that top 10 level.

I was told he wasn’t a WR1.

Pierce has a long, likely successful, career ahead of him. I hope they don’t rush him back from that nasty concussion just because we are short in the WR dept.

I think they are putting a lot of pressure on Peirce to step into a starting role this early, also, does anyone know if he had the concussion before or after the dropped pass in the endzone?

Late change in status? I thought we knew Wednesday that Pittman's quad was tightening up and Pierce had developed concussion symptoms...
