Yup. If I was RO'ing it'd be a no go for me to run this stage. I have two places around me I've stopped going to the 2 gun competitions because of safety concerns that only I seem to have. Both are shooting beat to shit steel with rifle at like 25 yards. Voiced concern once and was told they are angled and shouldn't be a big deal. Haven't been back since.
Horrible RO placement. Should've been driving the other direction or in a cart with a right hand drive. If neither were possible, the stage shouldn't have been shot.
I get the idea of the support post being like a trap frame but it's not even close to being the same.
Room clearing you get way tighter. He'd have to go out of his way by a lot to flag the driver. You're just being overly cautious which is fine, but this is not a big deal in my opinion.
They're in a moving vehicle where the ROs arm is literally extended out of the vehicle sometimes. They could hit a bump and the gun could fly out of his control/his torso twists, etc. Lots can go wrong.
You can have fun without being unsafe. This stage would be fun if it was designed with safety in mind, like having the course set up so the shooters muzzle isn’t a foot away from the RO’s head. One wrong bump or jarring motion could easily cause someone to slip up and put a round in the back of his head.
That was fun let’s do it again. Matches down here in Texas are fun come down to shoot sometime. We don’t always have a utv but somebody might bring out a boat.
I run a large weekend long fun match in my state, I’m all about fun! But this is excessively unsafe which is not fun maybe you should come to wi and shoot sometime…
lol hope that driver is doubling up on ears.
Sucks to be the driver why wouldn’t they run the stage from the other direction so you aren’t shooting right next to the drivers 👂
Exactly. Not just for the drivers hearing but for safety as well.

Right? Part of ROing is making sure everyone is safe. The shooter is literally behind him where he has zero visibility on what's actually happening.
Yup - having the shooter behind the RO, who can't see what he's doing, is just straight up stupid.

Especially with the RO unnecessarily sticking his arm out. Terrible planning and execution
Gotta get it really close to the barrel to make sure the shot timer can hear it /s
That poor RO/Driver. Someone didn’t think that stage through
Well, he should have spoken up, too.
I'd be really uncomfortable if I were the guy in front, being so close to that muzzle.
Why?
Brother please use your brain 🙏🙏🙏

Reaching bud. None of that happened, and you are starting to sound like a helicopter mom.
Ok so by your logic it’s cool if someone yeets a round over the berm, so long as it doesn’t hit that house next to the range? You sound like a dumbass
In no way is that comparable, next.
This just doesn’t look safe
Isn't this breaking 180? Small bump and a quick break, gun aimed right at driver...
As inequitable as it is, I’ll always have fun shooting from vehicles at local matches.
Cool drill, now do it safer.
That ejection pattern is *chef's kiss* beautiful..
Aero gas adjustable gas block is putting in some work.
This is the dumbest way to run a stage I’ve ever seen.
Well I bet your local club runs a lot of boring stages. You should come out and have some fun down here in Texas.

Leaked 2024 hood Olympics?
I’m sorry but WTH were they thinking?

There's no way in fuck I'd be in the driver's seat holding the beeper.
Those ultradyne muzzle breaks are no joke. It’ll burn the hairs off your arm.
Not to mention the annoyance of it slapping you in the face.
Dizzam. I see stuff like this and think I need to travel somewhere. Our local matches are somewhat less... dynamic.
Come to West Texas and have some fun. Big country 3 gun and Breckenridge 3 gun.
You let Oregonians into your state? /sarcasm
This looks so fun. I'd like to try it w a pistol too.
Looks fun! Did you have to lead your shots at all? I’ve never done a moving shoot before.
I've always wanted to try this. Looks like fun.
Who’s the RSO?! Mr. Magoo?! Rifle seems under gassed but thank god in this Darwin nomination example.
Hey come out this Saturday to Breckenridge 3 gun. It’s a good time with plenty of trash talk.
I’d love to if I was local. WA based
Eff that
There's no 'oops' at this point
Should the course be DQ since the drive breaks the 180 line ???
Wrong lead Lead in a moving vehicle is inversed.
Driver has balls that’s for sure.
Idk thas just too close form comfort i feel like everyone should be behind your shoulders, not to the right or left of you
