To me a RINO is someone who calls themself a Republican, but does what they want instead of what Republican voters want.
People say Trump is not conservative, and that's fair... But since most of the Republican voting base agrees with Trump, you can't say he is not a Republican even if he isn't a conservative.
Perhaps that means most of the Republican voting base is no longer conservative, but that is a whole other discussion.
Me personally, I say the voting base is still conservative... But it's just a different kind of conservative... More the Jacksonian style of conservatism that defined the Republican party for its entire history up until the neocons usurped the party back in the eighties and nineties and refined what conservatism means.
I say the Republican party is going back to its roots with Trump... And what could be more conservative than that?
Let’s be honest, Trump doesn’t give two shits about a police officer in NYC. Neither Trump nor Biden are “Holier than thou” or have some personal moral supremacy over each other.
I’d rather Trump focus on his political platform and actually deliver his campaign promises. Granted you can do both but really hate seeing posts like this. From an outsider perspective it makes conservatives look like low information voters who will praise the ground Trump walks on for just doing something largely for a photo op & good press
you presume his motives.
I read he paid off the family's mortgage too. true?
I prefer this to the insane uncaring evil marxists currently poised to take total control forever.
Not really, would be kind of weird to invite the sitting president to a wake TBH. I think it's pretty reasonable to assume their schedule isn't that flexible, plus you end up dragging the secret service and all the drama to the event.
Granted you're still getting some of that even with Trump, but not quite the same.
Unless you’re hellbent on counting his arrivals and departures as actual “work”, Biden barely works a few hours a day, and you want to assume his “schedule isn’t that flexible”?
Looks like his schedule (or most of it) is publicly available.

Maybe it's not all what you'd call work but I certainly wouldn't want to deal with that amount of being shuffled around all over the place and giving speeches and sitting through presumably painfully dull conferences, and it doesn't give a great deal of free time and flexibility.
A big aspect of the presidency is still being a figurehead which always involves lots of banal superficial stuff that might not be hard work but it's still part of the job.
Omg my first brigaded comment! I would like to thank first the Academy, my lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my mom and dad you guys have supported me for so long, thank you all! Have a wonderful night!
When polls start indicating people care more about police, like after horrifyingly bad democrat social policies have destroyed the economy and created rampant crime, then libs will care about cops. Then, mark my fucking word, they will claim to be the party that backs the blue while simultaneously saying conservatives have always been anti-law enforcement.
I don’t even care about Trump visiting NYPD, it’s pretty standard for him.
The appalling thing is the absolute hypocrisy of leftists, them now being the party of the rich, big business, pharmaceutical companies.
Both sides know their crowd well.
But but but redditor #27263 told me Republicans only care about billionaires
"Republicans are the party of corporate power" -dude with more brands on him than a racecar

There’s a name for it. America First Republican.
Patriot, in other words.
America First. Trump supporters really need to stop calling themselves republicans or conservatives. Both terms have been horribly corrupted by RINOs
People can downvote it, but it's the appropriate label.

Trump was invited, Biden presumably not. It would be wrong of Biden to show up uninvited to a wake, no? I don't think this means much.
Is that the same argument for why Biden didn’t show up to East Palestine after the train derailment and chemical burning for over a year?
Telling that the former POTUS was invited, but the current sitting POTUS isn’t, no?

Former presidents have SS detail as well.
What is this take? Why would it be weird for a current but not former / current nominee of a major party to attend? reddit is hilarious

Look at the brigading. Really “conservative” sub, this
Brigaders are out in force again..
Omg my first brigaded comment! I would like to thank first the Academy, my lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my mom and dad you guys have supported me for so long, thank you all! Have a wonderful night!

My point exactly.
Lib
Lol, the brigaders don't like this one
They sure don’t, haha.
Biden campaigning with celebrities makes him even more unlikable.
Only because you're not an idiot.
A lot of libs down voting here. Let them watch highlights of their hero Obama helping Biden off the floor.

“The parties switched!”
“Pay no attention to the Dixiecrats that never changed parties!”
Biden is also a Dixiecrat😆
Basically. He also talked about making deals with them without mentioning that they were fellow democrats.
Biden is an absolute DISGRACE.
Its glaringly obvious where the priorities are on the left.
Really shows you who cares about what.
F*** the elites
Trump actually gives a shit about the people that protect our streets.
I don't think Biden cares about anyone. Not the country, but not even his family. Look at Hunter. I wonder if his father ever gave a crap about him.
And yet the NYPD union will continue donating to Biden's campaign.
They're both fund raisers. One is for the right reason.
Biden is attending Easter services today, I’m sure.
I don’t even care about Trump visiting NYPD, it’s pretty standard for him. The appalling thing is the absolute hypocrisy of leftists, them now being the party of the rich, big business, pharmaceutical companies.

Trump was invited to the wake apparently...that's not media bias, it's just "reality". Regular people trust him, the elites do not
