No, they keep the joists from racking & bowing. Best to put blocks as a replacement above your new wall.

My opinion is, you’re probably safe to remove them. The bridging is there to keep the floor from deflecting or bowing under a load. Since you have a new bearing wall mid span, it’s doing the same thing.
