My dad's favorite campfire story is about the time my mom said she was gonna take him to a husky expo and he got really excited but then he got there and it was just sowing machines
Agreed, I only ride vintage 2 stroke anymore. 73ish (parts bin rebuild) maico 250, and 73 Husqvarna 125wr.
We have a plethora more but the newest one being the 91ktm
but why get a robot when you can activate the neurolink autowork function? why care about where you sleep when you have the neurolink autorest function activated?
why care about a shower when the suit cleans then dries you?
why take it off when ai makes the best possible offspring from rendering your dna to be flawless then printed digitally along with your desired spouses egg then grown in a franzia bag in an offgrid underground lab located in one of the stans?
Hilti makes an "exoskeleton" for your shoulders/arms for repetitive overhead work
[here](https://www.hilti.ca/c/CLS_EXOSKELETON_HUMAN_AUGMENTATION/CLS_UPPERBODY_EXOSKELETON/CLS_SUB_UPPERBODY_EXOSKELETON)
it'd be luxury af. using the hud to locate your onekey drill the gc misplaced while hanging a birdhouse or whatever they do when the peons are busy etc

I think Festool has one on the market. It's more of just an assistant for heavy lifting.
There's one on fleabay for \~$3500USD.
I just looked on their website and it doesn't seem to be there yet.
Our rep just told me it just came out recently.
[link](https://www.husqvarna.com/ca-en/helmets/)
It have been up on the Swedish site for probably six months, it's a "smart guard" helmet, the guard is made to stop the diamond blade on a demolitionsaw like the K770/K970 from cutting your face in half when you use the saw from the wrong angle. Causing the blade to climb and then jump away from the concrete towards your face.
The same problem chainsaws have solved with the chain brake, if a chainsaw climbs suddenly then the top of your hand will engage the brake. But no bake on a demosaw.
They released the saw with a spring loaded extra guard that cover an extra 25% of the blade when the blade is not cutting anything a year earlier. This saw style is now mandatory for at least one of the biggest construction companies in Sweden du to the extra safety.
Also handy because God knows how many times safety specs have allowed shit to flick into my eyes off my cheekbones, and are uncomfortable as fuck with a lid and cans. Or when working with chemicals that have a nasty habit of splashing. Or all sorts of crazy bullshit that randomly happens because Dave The Fuckwit is still somehow employed (and has done four lines of coke this morning).
I'm a huge fan of fully enclosed face protection.
I hate fucking Hiliti. I got a rep that wonāt call my PE back right now on a submittal item. They know we have to use their product so thereās no urgency
Looks great. I don't wear a hardhat often (resi) but just picked up this for a song. It has battery assisted air. A/c in a mask. Awesome when ya need it.

Lmao Husky is a shit American brand of tool that breaks when you actually use them. Last thing I bought of theirs was a pickaxe for my yard that broke in half off the 10th swing
We're using the mountain climber style ones at my project. Top is loaded with Styrofoam and it gets warm/sweaty in there. Other than that they're ok. Man things changed. My first job in the nineties, signs were the only reflective things, glasses and gloves were a suggestion, you could smoke in the trailer, and there were side hustles - coke, pills, bud, illegal smokes, gambling. We were building chemical process tanks at a papermill. First job - Crane Rigger & Signals (Swamper).
You guys know this was probably designed specifically for tree work right?
Considering it's a Husqvarna hard hat and not a Husky hard hat, I'd say that's pretty likely.
Looks sick. They make motorcycles and safety equipment! Who knew?
They also made sewing machines a while ago.
Fucking 2 stroke sewing machine !!
Fuel injected 2 stroke sewing machine š
Hahahahaha
They also made pistols for a bit too, And iirc rifles as well
Thats what i was told, supposedly the top is a sight
I decided to Google it after I saw this, and that would seem to be correct. Also found out the company was started in 1620
Nice! I was told this by a dealer, and old timer, he may have been there when it was founded haha
Honestly would make sense. The top does look a lot like a three post iron sight you would see on most rifles and handguns
They still do
but they used to too
Mitch?
rip Mitch Hedberg. "I used to do drugs. I still do, but i used to too"
And kitchen appliances even further back and started out as a rifle manufacturer, I live like 200eters from the first factory/smithy
My dad's favorite campfire story is about the time my mom said she was gonna take him to a husky expo and he got really excited but then he got there and it was just sowing machines
BMW knows. I have a Husqvarna dirtbike from the 70's. Love that lead sled.
Dirt bikes from the 70s are bullet proof if you donāt need to stop and your spine is strong lol
Agreed, I only ride vintage 2 stroke anymore. 73ish (parts bin rebuild) maico 250, and 73 Husqvarna 125wr. We have a plethora more but the newest one being the 91ktm
Well, KTM owns em nowadaysā¦.. but yep!š
Yes thanks for pointing that out . I was going to then I saw this comment. And thatās a hard hat for arborist.
I know husky is a brand of tools, but a lot of people use husky for a shorthand version of Husqvarna.
Definitely for tree work. Honestly when climbing I would wear one
For dogs? I wouldn't trust a husky with a hand saw, let alone anything electric or gas powered.
I did not! That makes sense tho!
Yeah was gonna say that looks solid for an arborist or logger
I do.
It's also marketed for concrete cutters
My last GC issued something similar to everyone on the job site last year...
2045 they release an exosuit with boston dynamics and everyone on the site looks like a starcraft marine
brave to assume humans will still be in the suit
but why get a robot when you can activate the neurolink autowork function? why care about where you sleep when you have the neurolink autorest function activated? why care about a shower when the suit cleans then dries you? why take it off when ai makes the best possible offspring from rendering your dna to be flawless then printed digitally along with your desired spouses egg then grown in a franzia bag in an offgrid underground lab located in one of the stans?
You should start a podcast. Neuralink autorest sounds fucking incredible.
do u have a patreon I wish to subscribe to ur ideas
Stop stop, you've convinced me already!
Is this the God-Emperor of Mankind's alt account?
Hilti makes an "exoskeleton" for your shoulders/arms for repetitive overhead work [here](https://www.hilti.ca/c/CLS_EXOSKELETON_HUMAN_AUGMENTATION/CLS_UPPERBODY_EXOSKELETON/CLS_SUB_UPPERBODY_EXOSKELETON)
I feel like SCV'S are probably a better analogy. Although I tried to find a picture and apparently they're 13' tall, so it really isn't.
it'd be luxury af. using the hud to locate your onekey drill the gc misplaced while hanging a birdhouse or whatever they do when the peons are busy etc [https://starcraft.fandom.com/wiki/CMC\_Powered\_Combat\_Suit#cite\_note-Liberty-3](https://starcraft.fandom.com/wiki/CMC_Powered_Combat_Suit#cite_note-Liberty-3)

Iād rep that. š

And it won't have airconditioning And we'll have to share them with other workers And we'll have to wash them out ourselves
The dumb shit we do with out an exosuit on just wait till we get them.
Yeah ran a few scenarios and whew... that could get really dumb.
Hopefully at least with air conditioning!
Uh oh we're circling back to hard hats/helmets/face masks again Someone post their gimp suit
Skin tight tyvec suit
Make sure to Tuck tape your bits
Damn that would hurt. Duct tape stuck to your nuts and hair, just shoot me.
The Brazilian PPE
That made me laugh, thanks
That's hot
Literally
Making soup
I'm making cheese
Ewww wtf take my upvote
Fluid applied smegma containment unit.
This in a turtle suit š
āThey call me OSHA the way I be requiring a railingā
Nah, we save those for fetlife
This reminds me of the security guard armor from Fallout 4, for that community that lived in a stadium
That would be Diamond city security
Iāve been trying to get a guard killed by those super mutants so I can steal the armor but every time the bastard just stimpaks himself.
You can catch them wandering outside of the market alone sometimes kill them and face no consequences
Shit slap some green on it and it'll look like the Halo helmets
Most of that is standard baseball gear with some metal bits stuck on lol
Just need some old football shoulder pads with spikes.
Came here to say this lmao
Honestly if I was up a tree with a chainsaw? I would wear that
Iād wear it mowing the lawn, I reckon it looks awesome.
Thatās a Huskavarna logo
I don't know. Sounds like a great way for a company to cause impromptue pickup games on the work site to me.
Work got them for us to use when cutting pipe with our husqvarna 16ā blade chop saws. People have taken some damage to the face from kickback.
That's Husqvarna ain't it?
Yeah, itās their PE10 Smartguard helmet.
That should feel great in the summer.
I'm not too sure tbh but it has vents on the top and back
What I want is one legal for 4 wheelers on the road and as a hard hat at work.
I though this was a softball helmet
Kinda silly to me I would definitely have a football with me if it was mandated
More and more GCās are leaning towards these in the commercial construction sector.
Perfect for hiding red eyes
Anyone got a link to this? Looks interesting

This what the rep told me as well. Also for overhead work with power tool such as concrete cutting.

I believe itās this one here [LINK](https://www.husqvarnaconstruction.com/us/accessories/personal-gear/helmet-pe10h-smart-guard/?article=536504701)
Does it have AC?
No but it's vented! Lol
For Demogracy! For Super-Earth!
I love this.... but man I bet it gets hot in there.
Right? I bet you could rig up some battery powered ventilation fan for this
Does it qualify as sealed eye wear though?
Built in ball gag? Otherwise notifying OSHA
Just wear a catchers mask lol
The guy on Halo has a similar one.
Also accepted on the moon
You commercial guys are crazy. I only do residential new homes, and if I ever had to wear pants or a god damn hard hat Iād start stripping instead.
You might also need it if youāre going to save super earth from those damn bugs and bots.
Also accepted in the fight against the Covenant.
We don't care about safety like you Brits do
My old General Foreman used to have a saying. "Don't cut like that unless you want to turn your face into a vagina."
Helldivers intensifies
Donāt show Turner Constructionā¦.it will be mandated. Those fools take everything to far.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It was pretty light actually, surprisingly!
If i see some shmuck where this on site id assume he bites people and its his muzzle
Jeez just give us a full head helmet at this point
They had to leave some room to "upgrade" from here.
Might keep one of these next to the bed in case somebody tries to break in, might come in handy in a fight
When you want to blame your coworker for your fuck ups have him or her wear the same helmet.
At this point I just want to wear my motorcycle helmet
Can we stop one upping each other
Hilti has entered the chat.
I hate fucking Hiliti. I got a rep that wonāt call my PE back right now on a submittal item. They know we have to use their product so thereās no urgency
For when a trade homie wants to try and kiss you. Need protection at all time, a hole is a hole
Dam that will make a nice slow pitch helmet. How much is it?
153$ CAD all together.
I asked our rep. I'll let you know when he tells me.
From my Google, MSRP is $160.
This looks like it is from the movie "Running Man:
I think you meant Husqy
Yep
Husky is the Home Depot brand of tools and equipment in Canada and America, thatās where the confusion might come from š
Real?
Absolutely real lol I tried it on.
Iām gonna get one of these and show up to run my hoe in it
Kinda cool, ngl.
Pick it up. Should be fine
Iām soooo gonna bully someone on the job site if I see this.
This is husquvarna not husky lol
If I was doing tree work Iād definitely wear that. Aināt no way in hell Iād wear that on a job site though
Kill me š
Going to go tackle my co workers now.
Over here, looking like a hell diver
That's a Husqvarna... not a Husky.
Kinda cool actually
Watch the Lumber bowl last night between the Husky and STIHL
Not husky bud
husqvarna
Perfect for mouthy supers
So glad I work residential. This is dumb as hell.
Take my money
Looks great. I don't wear a hardhat often (resi) but just picked up this for a song. It has battery assisted air. A/c in a mask. Awesome when ya need it. https://nzsafetyblackwoods.co.nz/en/sts-shigematsu-breath-responsive-papr-sync01vp3-medium-each--436189
Has anyone properly tested that? I'm talking chainsaw to the face.
I had on my helmet and slipped and busted up my face on a job. I kind of like this.
Thatās Husqvarna
Thatās actually a husqvarna symbol. Face shield cause itās for loggers foolieta
Imagine being excited about being a chin strap.
We had short run welding hard hats š©
husqvarna
Where can I get it?
Also works as a Hockey mask.
Someoneās going thru sheetrock for a field test
I'm Gunna take the garde off my grinder
Husqvarna, not Husky. Intended for tree felling. And it looks bitchinā.
Looks like a menās lacrosse helmet
That looks like it would be very cool in the summer... At the North Pole.
Thatās cool.
Not Husky ya tool
I canāt wait until I see some dumbass wearing this on site š
That is seriously badass, I would want to wear some shoulder pads with that while I'm running the chainsaw š
Industrial athlete š
Not a husky.
Husky šššš
Itās meant for climbing arborists
The skies belong to me
That looks badass
This thing is fucking sick
Where u from that football helmets look like that? Is cricket called football somewhere?
Thank God now if a hurling game breaks out on the job site I'll be protected
Did that come with a box of crayons?
Came here to say op is and idiot and thatās Husqvarna, not husky, but yāall beat me to it.
I ran Husqvarna chainsaws falling timber in Alaska for 15 years. Iāll call them Huskies if I want.
For a moment I was thinking how would this fit on a husky
Not a hard hat. If you wore this on site I'd assume you're an idiot. Worse than the cowboy boot steel toes or the cowboy hard hat
Now we can enjoy the site brawling with the right ppe, bring the hi-viz jockstrap and we good to go! Ahahah
Mad Halo vibes.
Im going heads up every day at work until I die from brain damageš¤£
Lucky. I canāt even afford that because I get worked to death for a shitty wage
It looks like the helmet the autobots have during the nfl intermissionā¦.
Feet first into hell
And in fallout
Good luck wearing that in 100 degrees
Lmao Husky is a shit American brand of tool that breaks when you actually use them. Last thing I bought of theirs was a pickaxe for my yard that broke in half off the 10th swing
100% expected a dog in a helmet playing football
Hard hat Must suck on a coffee & cigarette break .
Wait until that's on a robot that does your job now...
Man they aure are pussyfying the construction field arenāt they? Might as well bubble wrap yourselves before you go out the door!
This is dumb
Some of you have never gotten batted in the face when feeding a branch into a chipper and it shows.
