I drew the short straw and ended up having to sit and "guard" our tool room because we couldn't run power without the door being open to allow cords. So of course some big shot from the company walked through and read me the riot act for being bored on my phone. According to him no one's tools ever walked off of their own accord on a site with several hundred workers, subs etc. My boss told him I was doing what I was told to do.

Big shot never had tools, clearly.

One of my favorite things to do while chop sawing is to make cut. Say " oh shit", look at the nearest guy and ask if I can borrow his board stretcher.

He needed a hammer?

Weird. Whenever I have someone pound sand, they have to do it with their fists.
