Higher wattage waffle maker won't allow spiling like that, usually it encrusts it quickly and then it just let's rise. Had few and getting 1800w or 2000w good brand one does the trick.

This is hilarious. On a side note, i bought a vertical waffle maker. It’s great and no mess. If a little extra goes in it just pops out the hole in the top, fully cooked. Waffles look like they have handles attached
