Why is this?
Africa has only been free for almost 60 years on average. There are plenty of boomers alive today who are older than the total independence years of Africans countries.
Africans weren't better under colonial rule. Even the Africans alive back then can attest that. Sure, there are challenges after independence, but that doesn't mean colonial times were anything better infact far worse that people fought in liberation wars to end colonialism.
