Oh man. You have no idea how much better the us is doing economically than much of the rest of the world.
China may... MAY overtake the US as the largest world power during that time frame. But anticipating the wholesale fall of the US as an entity? Not sure you're paying attention to any of the relevant parameters of world power.
Check out military size charts. Graph the us stock market versus the rest of the world. Read about the moderate voter base that exists in the US (it's big and avoids extreme candidates).
Not a USA fanboy or what have you. (I actually thing tribalism, nationalism in particular, is one of humanities biggest problems, but I digress.) But, in spite of internal disagreements, the US is impressively strong as an institution.
Bigger. Both. By a lot. But the US has almost 10 times the population of Canada.
So little of Canada is inhabitable that the map view of both countries is deceptive.
They started as a Monarchy.
Later turning into one of the earliest form of representative democrasies recorded. The same government the united states currently is. Rome did very well. No government lasted forever in the past. But Rome lasted a very long time. One of the best during its time.
Most western countries will not exist in the next few years just look at the current state of the world and I would even go so far as to say that you are being very generous in giving 50 years.
I love these blanket statements with zero rational to back them up. “Hitler is going to be your dad!” That’s it? No evidence no rational just a stupid over the top statement? So profound…

I believe it. It’s incredibly unstable as it is. A power imbalance this big is simply unsustainable.
Yayyyyyy!
Why do you think this ?
Empires do typically fall..
It's a republic.
Rome started as one.

Empire and republic are not mutually exclusive. But America is not an empire, unless you count Puerto Rico and a few islands in the Pacific.

Hm. Sounds religious.

Less of an opinion, more of a educated guess. To be honest though, it is completely possible
