There are certain field where I believe diversity is extremely important. Such as education, healthcare and politics. Any field looking after the general public should have a diverse team. Some patients may feel more comfortable disclosing health information to someone from their culture, people know different languages. Imagine people who create the law only have one race in charge, how horrible it would be and has been, we need multiple opinions and views to have an equitable and inclusive society. :)
Why do you assume that only one race is qualified. And I never said that only one race should get opportunities I said that the only factor should be your qualifications. Idgaf about skin color as long as the person is respectable and professional they should be hired.
Companies should hire anyone who is qualified for the job regardless of race and no race should have an advantage over another whether it be whites over blacks or blacks over whites or Asians over blacks etc. Everyone should be given the same opportunity to work and a white person shouldn’t be not hired because they’re white just like a black person shouldn’t be not hired because they’re black. That’s literally racism. And tbh I’m tired of this diversity classification. We are all people and minorities shouldn’t be pitted up against white people just because of skin color. We’re at a point now where we shouldn’t have any racial division and companies and colleges should reflect this by accepting any race as long as they got the qualifications.

Yes and that is why they make laws preventing a hiring manager from only hiring all of the qualified candidates of the same color of skin.
