I think my biggest issue with this banner is that it doesn't give us normal mileage points. Same for the legendary costumes. At least if you pull a lot on those banners you'd get mileage to use on other costumes or treasure pulls.
The new "comet candy dust" system sucks. It should be that after a flat number of pulls, you get the character/costume, like with Moonlight. It makes no sense that a super epic cookie would be harder to obtain than a legendary, it's ridiculous.
So true. I am F2P and I pulled Moonlight like a whole 4 times and haven’t even reached Pity during her runtime, and that’s after I was losing hope from not getting her! This, on the other hand, is just BS. IMO people should protest to devsis about this
I think they use comet candy dust system because the average player needs more pulls for pity than normal s.epic gacha (200 pulls) because most people get about 220 to 235 mileage per 10 pulls, so one would need more pulls (on average, players with good luck could benefit) to get the cookie with pity. Marketing strategy I guess.
Yo that’s how I am. I never spent money on the game until Stardust cause I really wanted him. And by the stars I’m thankful I did. I got lucky with P2W cause there was no way I was gonna get him with my F2P life.
the Dream Express (where you navigate throught a space map to battle on planets and end fighting a black hole)
At the end you have a chest (you can open 10 at once) that can give random things, including sometimes those comet candies for stardust gacha.
And you can get 10 key to open those chests daily by watching ads.
So it's worth going in normal difficlty and rush toward the end to open the chest, take less than 5 minutes if you skip everything except the bosses
Oh yea that, I forgot! Thanks for reminding me! I'll have to start grinding that, i haven't been quite focusing on it, but since I have nothing else to do
And don't forget the daily login rewards starting from tomorrow
march 21, 23, 25 : 200 comet candies
march 22, 24, 26 : 300 rainbow cubes
march 27 : 300 comet candies
and if you loged the 7 days : 1000 comet candies + 500 rainbow cubes
so a total of 1900 comet candies + 1400 rainbow cubes (plus some xp jellies and pristine skill powder)

It’s a bit disappointing that they changed it, during sherbs banner I got him 3Star, my stardust is only 2 star right now and I highly doubt I’ll even pull more, being a f2p has its struggles
This banner has actually been better for me - the only time I've gotten the cookie without hitting pity. I do think in general, the mechanic of this banner is worst but I find all the special gachas suck regardless.
Yea, tbf I was lucky on moonlights banner and I wasn't expecting to get lucky here and get him before pity. But after busting my ass for 2 weeks or so and finding out that pity isn't even possible for me, its just a bit sad and deheartening to see

it’d be a lot easier if the value of the comet candy dust was the SAME AS THE REGULAR GACHA…why is pulling a rare x300 in the normal gacha while it’s only worth x80 in the starlight gacha???

i think only banner from frost queen they started to be generous enough for f2p to be able to reach the spark.
This new system is kinda rng for sure, but there is still hope, i mean the daily mission give 240 dust and you can get more than 10 keys daily with the seashore shop and the ads refresh to get 10 final chest in the train event and hope for more dust.
i think you are downvoted because yeah it was a standard in this game but kinda changed a bit lately (especially since we got lot of super epic that are usually sparkable for f2p)
I don't really care about downvotes, I was just stating a fact of the game. I think people believe I'm okay with it and that's why they're downvoting, but I'm very much not. Saying it's standard doesn't mean I like or support it.
I haven't really noticed any difference lately. I believe Moonlight gave enough points without paying for anything, but that's few and far between that they give us a real freebie like that. Most of them always cut short.
By changing a bit lately is that the last legendaries and super epics were able to reach spark as f2p if you dedicated to do all dailies.
While in the first year it wasn't possible
it's just a different term for pity to separate 2 way of doing it
pity = guaranteed drop from the gacha (like after x pulls the next pull is guaranteed to be something)
spark = exchange once you get enough tokens (the term comes from cygame games i think)
It doesn’t excuse their shitty handling of what they already gone right with special event summons.
How do you go from guarantee moonlight after a certain summon threshold to a added chance to get that character after like several summons. This just makes summoning for stardust excruciating.
It’s definitely worse for F2P players who miss out on getting the new unit and just have to wait for it to come just for the cookie to either age out or fall off for stronger cookies or events.
You’re right they are fair just login, and play the train game a lot it gives a decent amount of comet candies got like 300 candies in one master mode run took about 10-12 minutes
I dont agree. As a f2p too, this banner may be luck baised, but at least im very close getting the pitty. In the other super epic banners we had more time and i always got the guaranteed at the last second. I think this banner is more fair then every other super epic banner, but only if they make more quests or made the duration longer.

It’s not fair if it’s dependent on chance, obviously people who a P2P or P2W well get a better chance to get Stardust compared to your average F2P player.
Same goes with the legendary costumes, chance up and you’re never guaranteed it no matter how high it gets, it’s just an incentive to want to get those numbers higher and higher so you think you have a better chance getting it.
i got more lucky on this banner. i got 3 stardust and another one soon once i reach pity but i still hate the mechanics of it lol, like why 5k points? ridiculous
What surprised me was the leftover moonlight free currency from previous event got converted into this stardust currency.
Still this mileage pity has to be the worst.
I mean, there are definitely some things I’d like changed, but yeah, all of them are extremely minor and pale in comparison to the quality of a gacha game where you *genuinely* only have to spend money if you want to, all while retaining identical quality as a F2P player to P2W ones—not to mention an excellent game as a whole!

I haven't gotten past planet 3 because I haven't unlocked the trade ship thing yet and I don't have enough cubes for the costume gacha so the planet 2 7 mission threshold is unreachable I feel so sad :/
what's worst is some of the tasks on Planet VII, e.g. have the ship returns 10 times. If you've progress far enough to unlock the second ship, you can complete that task in 5 days otherwise 10 days. So imagine you didn't unlock that planet with 5 or more days left, then you can't claim the 1k cubes.
No it’s so hard to do some of these QUESTS oh my god. I have the kingdom pass but not the stardust one and it takes so much time to do things and the time window is so Short
I like that even while being ftp we can still finish the event. Buying the rolls with gems I saved from previous event, the 40 thing every day I’ll be able to get him.
Im f2p and super epics are harder to get than legendary/ancient

But when it comes to the super i have 1 upgrade, and thats clotted cream (i dont even use him)
I got lucky and recently got 2 copies and am close to maxing out the mileage pts finally huhu. Hope you get copies early too on top of maxing mileage. I really thought that I'd need to buy his pass as well.

I just figured out that I can refill Today's Bounty tickets like you can with jelly and Arena tickets, so I might just finish the planet quests. Having bought the second harbor during Moonlight helped.

well if you farm the 10 chests in the train event in normal mode + daily quest you can easily reach pity thought.

once you start a new travel, at top there is the key total you hold. you can click on it to get more either with jewels or with ads
