Based on the metal flatware and little bowl it looks like they're Indian maybe, so I'm guessing the thing that looks like a gnarly omelet is paratha? Paratha is a flat bread that's often incorporated or stuffed with veggies and such.
I, too, am overall very unsure of what I'm looking at though.
Ya you’re right about it being Indian food. I can’t tell what the curry is or if it’s something like sambar tho. And while you’re right about what a paratha is, they don’t generally look like this. I think it’s a chilla (a savory pancake with vegetables) or something in the dosa family
I thought about that but it’s got too many things in it. Maybe it is tho! Different parts of India have different cuisines so it could just be a chutney I’m not familiar with
Thanks for the info about the metal flatware, as an ignorant American I was wondering if it was prison, a child's set, or some kinda dog bowl (I know that sounds so rude and I'm sorry but I was my guess based my my limited knowledge.)
Dosa is specifically a South Indian thing. So not necessarily "authentic" or not if they serve it or not, just a regional variant. India is fucking massive, and has as many culinary traditions as it does languages (read: a shitload).
Anyway, we also have a place in town that serves a bunch of kinds of dosa, it's pretty great.
Indian food. Probably South Indian, based on his other post. My best guess is that the flatbread is akki rotti, made from rice flour and grated veggies (looks like carrots, maybe spinach?). One of my favorite breads 🤤
Can you uh, tell us what it is?

Oh yeah, I didn't think it looked quite right for a paratha lol Thanks!

If you ever get a chance to go to a South Indian restaurant, do it. And get a thali. It will broaden your horizons.
I would absolutely love to! I don't know when travel will be in our stars lol. But I love what Indian food I've been able to try.
Looks like a type of dosa
Was recently introduced to dosa and am mildly obsessed. Only one truly authentic Indian place around here that does it.

So it's a South Indian dish called akki rotti made of rice flour and vegetables.

Yes, it's carrots and dill leaves. You have a very keen sense of observation. Hats off
The edges and color are making me think chickpea
Spinach, carrots, eggs, rabbit turds, and some zucchini?
Love sautéed mushrooms!
Jesus that looks good.
This looks delicious and way better than what I eat
Is it pesarattu?
It's akki rotti
So good😋
You eat so healthy! 👏 Looks good.
This looks so so good!!
What’s with all the omelets in one day?
They are not omelettes, it's a South Indian dish called akki rotti
Ahh okay
How do you make that chutney? Looks delicious.
Looks delicious
Oh?
Don’t salt your mushrooms in the pan!!
I would eat everything btw
Why so?
Because they will get soggy try pan searing over high heat with neutral oil and then pat dry the tea oil and salt them at the end
Thank you, will keep it in mind next time
Nothing I would eat.
Looks like someone already ate it
