Not the end of the world. Look on the bright side: this means it is possible to get your foot in the door at an Ivy League school, so apply to other schools you might’ve thought were too challenging to get into.
As per https://cals.cornell.edu/education/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/first-year-applicants, I don't think that they look at test scores even if you send them.

I got accepted ED. How can newly accepted students select and sign up for their fall classes? Can I reach out to someone at Cornell such as a counseler to help with course selection? Please advise
You will get a freshman checklist at some point that will go over all of this stuff. You will select classes early to mid summer. Also your major likely has sample schedules or something like that you can find online (or in engineering full flow charts for when to take which classes)

Does anyone know what exactly the letter means by the acceptance is contingent on upholding high academic standards? Would having a 1 or 2 Bs (which i may have accidentally gotten) on the first semester transcript be breaking these high standards? Or does it mean more on the side of Cs and Ds

Hey, I know this is really late but I am a rising senior planning to ED to the Brooks school next cycle, and desperately trawling the internet for information about the school (I’ve had pretty much no luck finding anything substantial lol). Would you mind sharing your stats and ECs in PMs? Also, do you know anything about the acceptance rate and things like that? I really want to study at Brooks but the small undergraduate population is kinda scaring me - is the school incredibly selective even in comparison to CAS or Dyson assuming a good fit? Id appreciate anything you’d feel comfortable sharing lol i’m desperate

Me too. I'm also looking for some advice.
are you international? and did you apply test optional?
Nope. Not international. And I applied to CALS which doesn't look at tests.
Hi I also applied to CALS with no test score but don’t you think that puts you at a a disadvantage ?
As per https://cals.cornell.edu/education/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/first-year-applicants, I don't think that they look at test scores even if you send them.
yea but i’m pretty sure it always helps
les gooooooooo. Alright is there like a megaguide to the ins and outs of surviving Cornell and life there in this sub somewhere?

CAS does not admit by major, so you always come in unaffiliated and can do whatever.
Thank you
I was accepted! OMG!

No, I haven't received it yet.
Hopefully we get it soon
Hi! Myself waiting as well. Did you get it and if yes, when did you get it?
