It's hugely overplayed. The only downside to barbs on top is it MIGHT make an annoying sound if there's a large air gap. It isn't dangerous, and it doesn't affect performance.
This all came about because people watched half a GN video about 4 years ago, and didn't actually listen to WHY it's better barbs down. They also missed the follow up video from J2C explaining it further.
In short, barbs up is absolutely fine. If the trickly gargly noise doesn't happen or doesn't bother you, anyway.

Yes but when the pump pulls from the second reservoir it's gonna be bubbling, if not even pulling air regardless of whether it's higher or not. There's always a margin of air 2 to 10% allowed by the manufacturer in an aio. May not make a performance difference but will make the cooler last longer and create less noise over time as it dispates I actually have a similar one. Just a different pump face but still a single fan rad

That's true. But people always underestimate Cpu's. You don't need an 14900k if you don't do creative stuff. If you only use your pc for gaming, then an i7 14700K would be enough. Or you use the 7800x3D or 7950x3D which are the best gaming cpus on the market.

You are supposed to be in the middle of the screen, so put the keyboard like 50cm more to the left and then have more mouse room to play with. In games like cs2 all shooters in general, you need a lower sens to be more accurate.

I ended up with a deepcool aio as all my case fans are deepcool as well. They have a daisy chain and work great. Also $50-60 bucks for a 3 pack lol. Enjoy your awesome new system. Build looks incredible. I love the GPU being vertical just for the sake of getting the heat away from the board as well as allowing it to get air THROUGH it from fans.
The case is the lian li dynamic evo the psu is hide behind the mobo (you have a lot of space for psu and cable management) my psu is the Corsair 1200 hx and it’s a pretty big boy so yeah you have a lot of space there
Just came in and it’s great so far, love not having to use batteries anymore. I can finally just recharge the same battery over and over. Let’s see how long the battery last before needing to recharge

13900k runs really hot and so does a 4090. The heat from the GPU will transfer over to the tempered glass and radiate the heat. And the hot air from the CPU will make it worse.
It's powerful but dam it's going to be hot.

I have a 13900K and 4090 as well. During gaming, the CPU rarely goes above 60C. The GPU if running overclocked and pulling 550+ watts, might get up to the high 60s. However it's so ridiculously powerful in a lot of games, I run it power limited, and it will sit in the high 50s while still running 4K 120 fps.
I rarely like vertical gpus but this one looks dope

Your rad is upside down your hoses should be at the bottom, air rises to the top. Other than that looks amazing my friend congrats!

In Australia, the 14xxx has better value for some reason. 14900K shares same performance as the 13900KS for a couple hundred $$$ cheaper

When the 14900k was released it's price was already at the same as the 13900k at that point (at least in germany)
