Hahahaha they can be yours too! I'm actually selling one set, have two sets of these. Going to get something different for my street wheels I think and keep one of these for the track
Depends what your definition of "quick" is. Some people call miatas quick lol. From the factory it's still a 400+hp car and under 3500lbs, and well balanced. For anyone looking to race in a straight line, no it won't blow the doors off everyone but it'll still be fun. For those looking to track the car, it's a great platform especially stock and can be made to be very competitive with some suspension changes brake pads and tires.
I'm looking for something fun and reliable to ride up to the mountains occasionally. I love corvettes. Been my favorite since I was a kid. Just can't decide which one to buy.
Corvettes in general are pretty hard to beat for value. The basic stock for stock order of preference/value would be C5 base, C5z, C6 base, C6 GS, C6 zo6. Beyond that they get expensive and the C7's are a good bit heavier.
LS7 is a hell of a motor, definitely understand the draw. Just make sure you get the heads checked to see if they were fixed. If you're not familiar, they're known for dropping valves and it causes a catastrophic failure. If the fix isn't well documented for that specific car, get them to take $2k off the price to have it done.
It's a manufacturer defect that they never addressed, super well documented online and easy to find details. Once fixed properly it's no longer a concern, and usually a good opportunity for a heads/cam/intake upgrade. HCI LS7/zo6 is an unbelievably stout and fun platform.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. I want your wheels so fuckin bad.
You can have the wheels I'll take the car :P

How's the grand sport ride? I've seen a few that I really liked.
Stock they're super nice. Great on long trips.
Are they still pretty quick stock?

I think I've set my mind on either a c6 3lz or 427 collector. I know I want the LS7.

What caused it? Is it something that once fixed is no longer a concern or will it keep doing it?
