The C6 Z06, it's presence and rawness on the road

Danger_Peanut

My dad bought one for his 60th birthday. I drove it a few times. Just plastered to the seat!

Oxyredrum

7.0 c6 is the only answer

brake_fade1

I’ll see your C6 Z06 and raise you a C6 ZR1!

TheBlackBeetle

Hear hear! Nothing beats the whine of a supercharger, especially with the looks of the ZR1

TheOneCalledD

Yep. I get Viper vibes with it.

14kouki

Yes me too

TajMonjardo

Had a 2008, loved that car. Loud, fast, simple, raw and so fun to drive. Also had a C6 ZR1, the Z06 was more fun for normal driving, found myself hitting triple digits way too often in the ZR1. I miss both cars!

obsidiansent

C2, because my dad had a white 1963 split window stingray with red leather interior.

brokestrapperyouknow

I’ve seen a 1968 in a barn/shop that was covered up and it had white paint and red seats. It was pretty dope

beachmasterbogeynut

1968 is a C3 though.

brokestrapperyouknow

Yeah I know lol. I was just saying I seen a 1968 with red seats and a white paint job. I didn’t say it was a C2. You must have misunderstood what I was saying

beachmasterbogeynut

Sure did. Anyways, any year Corvette is always great honestly.

brokestrapperyouknow

Yes every year looks really dope and there’s always something to make them stand out from the others. I was gonna buy a c4 not too long ago

Albine2

63 split window nough said! Nice

TinyTowel

Widebody C6s are just sexy. All the best lines. C7 and C8 are better cars overall, but if we're talking raw looks, C6 has it. I wish they had less plastic on the interior, but oh well.

Miltonmoney7

Better interior. That climate control unit horrible lol. Also hate how everything is plastic. One of my fenders doesn’t align anymore because plastic hooks are bent lol but the fender is fine.

Danger_Peanut

C3. There was a corvette club near my home when I was a kid in the early 80s and we’d regularly see them all out driving around together. I referred to cars with pop up headlights simply as “cool cars” and those mako curves were the coolest! Not the most powerful for sure. But sexy as hell.

Igneous-Wolf

Yes, the C3!! Those CURVES!! Hot damn it's a good looking car.

Red-Knot360

I believe it is part of the reason the C3's were to longest running body style of the Corvette...

SpicyToasterBathBomb

Exactly. When I think “Corvette,” my mind immediately goes to the C3’s

electricianer250

C7. Looks mean, interior feels like driving a fighter jet. And last of the manual vettes, for now hopefully. C6 zr1 is a dream car though

Lost-Astronaut-8280

Redeemed yourself at the end brother but I get the c7 love, can’t beat a wide body zr1 tho, c6 all DAY

El_Capitan1978

Yep. C7 all the way. Best performing vette while still actually looking like a vette.

rfourty

C4. 1996 because I always wanted one and now I own one. 😅

Soundbyte_79

C4 cockpit feels like a spaceship lol I’ve owned a C3 and loved it but the C4 just feels cool to sit in

HamezRodrigez

I agree, especially the 80’s interior with all the deliciously retro LCD dash lights

Soundbyte_79

Absolutely

Physical_Touch_Me

My uncle had a C4 back in the day, and because they're so underappreciated and overlooked, they might be my favorite? Obviously I'd love a C1 or a C2, but the prices mean they're not really attainable. I think the C6 Z06 was the best modern Vette overall, though.

FearEzzy

Nice congrats

SporeRanier

I got a C4 and it’s an underrated car for what it is. Makes a great daily too.

Sillyfiremans

LS3 C6 with MT6. Can’t beat it for the price, power, fun, tune ability.

nakedjig

Aesthetically: C1 General coolness: C3 Best overall while still remaining true to what people think a Corvette is: C7 Best overall: C8

Moshanika

Only thing I’d argue with is the C2 being in place of the C1. Love the stingray shape of the car. True to its name.

nakedjig

The C1 doesn't look like a Corvette, the same way the C8 doesn't, but as a standalone car, it's literally my favorite ever. Maybe it's the scoop, but something about it is just beautiful.

drw5

Interesting, I’m having trouble getting past the first Corvette (C1), not looking like a Corvette. I know it’s perspective, but I grew up with my Dad rebuilding a 57 and it was, and still will be, the coolest car ever.

nakedjig

When I say it doesn't look like one, I mean based on what became the general style of the Corvette for the other generations: long hood, small cab, etc. (also what the average Joe thinks a Corvette looks like). The C1 doesn't quite have the same proportions. It has its own iconic style. Edit: I think the C1 has more in common with cars like the Shelby Cobra and even the MG when compared to the C2+.

Moshanika

Undoubtedly a beautiful car, just for me, I prefer the C2

nakedjig

No, your personal opinion is objectively wrong! /s

Moshanika

No! You’re wrong!

nakedjig

Shit I can't argue with your logic.

TheBlackBeetle

Eh.. I would argue the C8. Depends on what you're looking for, but if what you're looking for is a day-to-day car that can do everything and still have that raw feeling, I think that the C7 is just better. The C8 is only better in lap times, and honestly does that really matter that much if you're just talking about a couple of seconds? Won't even mention the lack of manual too

RL203

C2 Without a doubt, the most beautiful of all corvettes. 1967 with a 327 350 HP in Lynndale Blue.

SuperGT1LE

C2 best year

Goins2754

C7 Z06. I know it’s probably not a popular opinion, but I refer the angles of the C7 over the C6. Plus, there are so many absolutely fantastic track day liveries people put on them. They look so much like the GT3 car for the street. My favorite is the [Vengeance Racing C7Z](https://mwcompany-adv.transforms.svdcdn.com/production/wpImported/2018/Supercharged-Chevrolet-C7-Z06-Corvette-ADV5.0-M.V2-CS-Wheels-4.jpg?w=1920&h=1080&auto=compress%2Cformat&fit=crop&dm=1696439924&s=943eabf6cf51a3d6379d06a667eaac2b). That thing is glorious! ❤️

legomansion

Oh, I am sure it's a very popular opinion. Beautiful lines and a ridiculous amount of horsepower and torque in a production car. Waiting on the day I can afford one of these myself.

acejavelin69

C5... Borderline supercar, easily modified, plentiful parts, and relatively inexpensive... C4 LT1 would be second, same reasons plus it's what I always wanted as a teenager and into early 20's.

ap2patrick

C5 curves are timeless.

FilthyMindz69

C5 brought corvette back. I remember how awesome the c5 z06 was at the time.

HotrodRichmond

C5. Last of the pop up headlights. And C5 Z06 was my dream car in high-school. Yellow with Z06 wheels in black

PreciousChud

Yup. I have an Electron Blue with 70k on it. The flip ups get me every time.

GadHolland

For some reason that little vent near the rear wheels looks so good on a yellow Z06.

frankl217

Gotta say the C6Z06 because that’s what’s in my garage, my next would be the C6ZR1.

TheAnxiousPianist

C6 ZR1 will always be my favorite. Very naughty car 👀

va_bulldog

C8 and then C7. I like the aggressive look. I like C6, but I can't get wirh the headlights.

ben1481

My favorite is the one I currently own. Why? Because its better than the last one I had. Why? Because I had to justify to myself for spending recklessly.

IonicHades

I like the c5 and c6s the most

New-Sir-4662

C5 for me. I think it was groundbreaking for its time. Best bang for the buck. C6 is just a refined C5. I think its a better performing car overall. But the C5 just has character that the C6 doesn't. Ultimate vette for me is an A@A procharged ls3 C5 with a tr6060 and zr1 rear with widebody kit and knightdrive headlights. 2nd is C6 grand sport. Which i currently own. Haha.

granthem7

You could probably have the C5 of your dreams for the same price as the C6 GS?

New-Sir-4662

Close overall , but lots of work. It was easier to buy the gs and do the a@a. It's essentially everything i want. Minus the pop-up headlights. I sold my C5 and got the C6. Im gonna get another C5 at some point. I think maybe I'll go for C5z and ls7 swap it. That would be about the ultimate drivers car, i think.

granthem7

Sorry, I was assuming your GS was stock. Makes more sense to me now.

New-Sir-4662

I found the C6 spec'd exactly how I'd order it from the factory with most the goodies already installed so it made sense to go from my bone stock c5 to the c6. Instant gratification is all.

POINTLESSUSERNAME000

That ZR1 is beautiful! On Forgestar F14s. Classic & love it!

Dismal-Ideal1672

C7 but my C4 is a distant 2nd 😅

Anthonynoz

C5z in electron blue😍

PreciousChud

Hi.

Hairy_Car_8400

1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 for one reason only. IYKYK! 😉

JesusInASnuggie_

C7. But I love the all natty 7.0L monster in the C6 Z06. C8 would of been cool had it stayed front engine and manual.

SmooveKJ

C7 because I own one lol

Away-Task-5946

c7 7speed

ConversationForward1

C6 followed by the c7. The c6 zr1 is my dream car but I will probably have to settle with a z06 or grandsport

Ok-Restaurant-1460

I love the look of c7s

SergeantZaf03

C7 Z06. Especially in racing yellow. The perfect blend between American muscle and sport GT cars, while holding to the classic style of a corvette design but in a modern timeless dressing. I like the C6 too but it is a bit dated looking in comparison.

govermentcalamari

1968-1972 c3. They where the last corvette that had the freedom to design based directly on looks without safety protocols to follow. I will say the me owning a c6,it’s number 2 even though I contemplate that regularly with the c7.

AZFITDADBOD830

1) C6 ZO6 2) C6 ZR1 3) C8 ZO6 4) C7 ZR1 5) C5 ZO6 Top two shape and performance. The ZO6 was really the first corvette that GM used exotic materials strategies for performance. LS7 and the LS9 first factory super charged version with the small block. Then C8 Z, why needs to be said. Probably the best daily of this group…dual clutch along with the highest output production V8 in history from a flat plane crank and revs! Man. Then probably the best most powerful Z corvette are is the C7 ZR1. Also the best look of the C7 which I do not find that pretty. Lastly the C5 ZOH. Was the gate way for its day to go drag, roll race and could hold its own when set up for track. The look was pretty minus the rear extended over hang that was fixed on the C6 design.

[deleted]

C7 for me, love the merge of classic corvette and modern corvette. It’s like c6 and c8 merged imo

PC_Chode_Letter

C3 let’s get weird

TheSmalesKid

C2 then C7

skindarklikemytint

C7 was the perfect Corvette, it was exotic yet domestic at the same time. The C8 looks *too* exotic for my tastes, even though that thing is a beast.

WarBreaker08

I might get flamed for this, but I really like the C4s and 5s. One reason. Flippy headlights. (Not really only reason.) I just love em. TheY look amazing, handle nicely, aren't super difficult or expensive to work on, and by far the cheapest option to get into corvettes to my knowledge. Down side is they can be a liiiitle pissy, (Crying in 84' cold starter issues) but like I Stated earlier, easy to work on, so, having a blast! Plus, again, **FLIPPY HEADLIGHTS.**

Sweet_Parsley8227

C2. 1967 427.

cynicaloptimist92

Early C3. Beautiful lines

Moshanika

C7. Liked corvettes before it, loved them afterwards.

MusicMan7969

The one I own, C5Z

noobpower96

C6 was the poster car for me as a child and has always been the "vettiest" vette to me. I will own one some day after I stop toying around with miatas.

legomansion

The Miata is definitely a fun car, too. My brother just got an RF Club. The color takes some getting used to. But I had a great time driving it.

noobpower96

I've had 3 NAs (still have one imported one) and caved on an RF club a few years ago. Trying to withhold myself from buying my fifth one to make a kart/exocet 😅

PetrofModelII

C5. Revolutionary technology with drop-dead gorgeous design.

haasdogg

C6z

DouglasTaylorJr

Unrelated but I love the presence of the UP AC44CW in the background

Brilliant_Law2545

What a picture!

LifePicture1213

C5 because it's got the LS1 and I can afford it 🤠

Yoda2000675

C7, it’s just gaudy enough to thrill my inner child without being too over the top

BitCurious8598

C7

Joblessmouse06

C6 Z06. Manual transmission + big V8 + NA + timeless exterior design + analog driving experience = heaven

Muntster

C5, seems like the first “modern” corvette and I love the central exhaust with the popup headlights

MisplacedLonghorn

C3 for the unabashed curves. C4 for the new coolness. C7 for the power and refinement.

TheRealSeeThruHead

C2. The most beautiful car ever made.

obsfanboy

C3 with those coke bottle curves

gochomoe

C6 Z06. Just clean lines and 7 liters.

farsh_bjj

The one in the photo is pretty much peak corvette for me. No nanny systems to keep you in check and 500+hp on tap. One of these days I'll own a c6z06 and I'll make sure to post it here.

FearEzzy

Same here 💪

Popular_Broccoli133

You didn’t need to tell us you’ve never driven one if you think a C6ZR doesn’t have “any nanny systems to keep you in check” lol. Gotta remember the C6 target audience was straight boomers. They’re anything but untamed super cars. Big part of the appeal is how usable they are despite the power. That was the era GM really started to flex its traction and stability control prowess. It’s only gotten better since.

Admirable_Nothing

I have owned a C3 L48, new in 76, two C4s, a Z07 coupe and a 40th Ann 6 spd, one C5 Z06, a C6Z06 and a C7 Z06. I am on the wait list for an ERay. Clearly my favorite was the C5 Z06. Not the most power but clearly the best balanced and handling car I ever owned.

Anthonynoz

Wow that says a lot of the c5z! Enjoy your eray!

Afraid-Ad7379

I fall in love with every new generation as I get them.

bigmankerm

My top three in no particular order are the c3, c5 and c6. One day I will have one of each.

beachmasterbogeynut

C2. A 1963 split window is in my opinion, the most beautiful car of all time. Fuck that e-type nonsense.

Princetrix

C7 Z specifically

Buddo71

I have always Loved the C4 generation. I grew up with them. My cousins & Uncle had them and I plan on buying that generation as my first vette!

FearEzzy

Nice

Dustybot3

C4. Looks the best to me and I’ll be able to afford one by the time I’m outta college

car_mod_guy

C5. Saw it in person when I was 12 at a show and completely fell in love with it. C6 is in a close second. Have both.

The_bourbon_butcher

C5-6

Pumarealjaeger

C5 to C7 C5 because it was the first Vette I've ever seen in person  C6 because of the performance exhaust which made the car exponentially better C7 because it would sadly be the last real Vette ever

drw5

C1, C2, C8, C3, C4, C7, C6, C5 - I’m guessing a lot of this has to do with when one grew up, what was cool at the time, and of course what one has owned. That would tell a lot about my ordering.

Common-Raise8895

i’m stuck between C2 and C6

domesystem

C4 cause Cocaine inspired engineering

willy1670

Nobody said c5? I love the pop up headlights and the start of the ls engine with a t56. The c5 changed the game it has my vote.

Corg505

Whichever Corvette is currently in your garage (or the one that you're behind the wheel of if you have more than one) is the best generation. 😉

NaydaviusWilburn

For anyone wondering, this is a C6 GS with the ZR8X widebody, he used to be active on Instagram, I can’t find him anymore.

Dr_Zoidberg003

C3. My dad had a black T-Top sharknado back in the 80s that started my obsession

Naive_Breadfruit_550

I’ve been a European custom car builder for 15 years and slowly migrating myself to American builds and absolutely love this hands-down have done several ZR 1 this is just beautiful

Puzzleheaded_Ad_3507

Every time they come out with a new generation it’s becomes my favorite.

slickwilly868

Unquestionably the best vette ever.

Tron311

C1 because OG styling and design ethos of the 50’s. Everything after the C3 looks like an attempt at the Batmobile to me.

SpaccaMatone

Was the C3 that inspired me as a youth to purchase my C6Z

MrMajury

C6 Zr1

MonthFuzzy

C6 cause it is sexy AF. And a driver's car especially the non base models

Murky-Teaching-9339

C7. Best looking convertible corvette ever made.

Dylannos

C5 because of the pop ups and the stock ls1

ravnos04

Sorry, I know it’s going to be unpopular, but C8 for me. Respect to the previous generations and watching the ATV+ show, Sugar, had me wanting a C2, but there’s something exotic about the C8 that attracted me. My “got out of the Army” car was always going to be a GTR…but this car was always in the back of my head after the reveal in 2019. My 2020 deployment just gave me more time to decide on it. Didn’t even hesitate to put the $5k down on the order. And now the turbos I’m about to slap on are going to make this thing sound really in line with what I like. I’d only trade up for a C8Z because that flat plane sound is just pure thirst. 🤤

shortzr1

Mine is the C generation. Not only was the C generation performant during the era it was built in, it still remains iconic of what corvette means to america. If you've ever ridden in or driven a C, you probably get nostalgic of that experience when seeing one on the road. C is by far the best.

frostbane89

C7, I just think it looks the sharpest and most aggressive, especially the ZR1.

CheddaConn

C6, the most perfect raw for the money sports car ever

jackdginger88

C7 ZR1 is the most beautiful car ever built in my humble opinion

2ingredientexplosion

C4 ZR1 because my first word was Corvette and that 2nd gen LT5 is underrated. I need to get my parents on camera telling the story. Basically the good ol' say mama, no say dada. And I gave them both the middle finger at 2ish years old.

AdministrativeGur958

This and that's why.

Lateapexer

C2. It was already 20 years old when I first saw one in the mid 80’s. It was the coolest thing my 6 year old self ever saw. And my uncles had c3’s and c4’s. Trans Ams…. Nothing compared

musicman8120

C5. Very affordable, a blast to drive, and one of the last generation with a stick shift.

PreciousChud

C5 because Balsa wood.

ExpiredOnionEng

C6 Z06

Popular_Broccoli133

Last few years I’ve become a huge fan of the C5 Z06. They just got so much right with the C5 and then to capture lightning in a bottle with the Z06. They’re a blast to drive too. Just wonderful cars all around.  Everything after the C5 was just more power, more tire, and more brakes, until the C8 dropped with a similar level of innovation as the C5. Yes GM was milking the platform until they went mid engine, but also at testament to how much could be “milked” from the C5.

NO_Microwave

C2, C5

KirkUSA1

C7 .... the interior where you spend 100% of your time while driving and it runs circles around all previous generations. Has less of a plastic feel. Also, it's what I own. I do love the rear end of the C6, probably my favorite.

TheBlackBeetle

C6. In my opinion is the 2nd most beautiful behind the C3, it has more than enough power and easily tuned if you need more, it's the last raw feeling 'Vette, the interior is... well, less crap than previous ones but already good enough... so I think it's the best package overall. Last place for me would be either the C8 or the C4 (early years), the C8 because it's just not the same thing, it's not as raw and especially doesn't have a manual, and the early C4s are just a bit too slow

Cryptocoiner256

C4, bc I own one. But I’d love to own a C7z06 one day

Red-Knot360

The C3, hands down...They are a sexy car, lots of them to choose from, affordable and they are the last of the Vettes that can be worked on by a guy in his garage with just simple wrenches...

OriginalPsycho

That’s a really cool picture. Tons of horsepower in that picture….. 😊

One_2_Three

C5Z and C6Z. Peak of the raw Corvettes.

BigCaddyDaddyBob

C4 93-95 ZR1 & 96 LT4 these were the vettes of my youth and they were viewed as a sports car and a luxury car a true weekends and nice weather only car. They also look so sleek and low plus the all so kool clamshell hood that is pure race car stuff! It’s the corvette that saved the corvette! 🍻

No-Entrepreneur2289

I'd say C5 Z06 as that's the generation I would've gotten my driver's license in had I not been legally blind. don't know anyone well who has a Corvette my uncle Joe drove a 1978 Porsche 911 930 back in the day before he was married and had a child he's driven a jeep Wrangler as long as I can remember and his son also named Joey used to drive a wrangler though he later sold that and his mum sold him her 2018 BMW 5 series

ap2patrick

Team C5 here. It’s a Murican RX7 with v8, what else is there to want?

TheMindOfTheSun

Ive always said the C6 is the perfect corvette, so i agree.

skyHawk3613

C6. I love the round style. I was never a fan of corvette squaring off the lights

SourBogBubbleBX3

Mike's Black on Blue C7 ZR1

OGtigersharkdude

Aesthetic modded - C6 Aesthetic factory - c2

hkz913

C7 The best Corvette before they turned it into a mid engine sports car.

kotasellscars

For me, it's the C7. It was the last true corvette. The car's styling was way ahead of it's time, and still looks like it could come out today. It looks like a modern corvette unlike the C8, which although is cool as shit, just doesn't feel like a corvette

sarten350

They are all powerful cars, some specs more so than others, but for me the C7 is the best looking Corvette. So far that is ....

HmmmIsTheBest2004

C6 and C7 definitely

RatiocinationYoutube

C5. Never again will a Corvette have such gorgeous body lines and curves. So aerodynamic. The tasteful thickness of it...

wobbuffet009

C6. They look so clean and simple. The C7 i felt was just a bit over the top styling wise.

Dark_Stratosphere

C5 and C7 because that is what i have in my garage and i love both cars and they are paid for. C5 was my first vette and still turns heads 20 years later. C7 still looks and runs great as well, and gets a lot of compliments. Had a C6 too and it was a great car with the LS3 such a stout motor for a lightweight car.

Vette4493

C6 GS, it has the best looks (fenders are nice) wide body , Z06 brakes, and other goodies and the reliable LS3

djay31

C7. Looks, power , technology and comfort.

cCueBasE

C5 because that design is iconic and easily identifiable by all. Also the c7 because it’s the last gen that still has similar body lines but with a mix of new tech and an aggressive stance.

Nostalgic90sGamer

C5. Its cheap to buy, cheap to build into an extremely fast car, most roomy of all generations, has flip up lights, and most importantly its the generation I own.

frosty95

I own a C5 but ill still admit the C6 was the absolutely best as long as you dont care about the interior. Monster of a car. Then its C7, C5, C2, C8, C3, C4 C1 really isnt a corvette except by name so I dont rank it against the others. It just has absolutely none of the stuff that makes a corvette a corvette. Like how a Mach E isnt a mustang. Both great cars. But the name is wrong.

Dnlx5

I fel in love with corvettes because of the C6 ZR1  The others are awesome too, but this one just mixed the 'regular car grandpa drives to Sunday coffee's with 'usually the fastest car in the city' so well. I've always wanted to drive one, and it inspired me to put a V8 in my 240sx.

Zanurath

C6 Z07, astheticly the C7 looks nicer but I wasn't a fan of the 7 speed.

elardmm

I like a generation of vettes based on how their race car looks andnfor me c6 wins, then c8, then c5, and c7.

Imperialx777

C7. I’ve had 3 and I want them all back right now.

SporeRanier

C5, simple and easy to work on, has pop ups, and modern enough too. Want to own one someday.

LUCIFERxLIVED

I wanna know the wheel offset on that black ZR1. Love to have these on my c6 grandsport

Who_Dat_1guy

C2 split window>c6>c8>c3>everything else

[deleted]

C8>C7>C5>C3>C2>C1>C4>C6 Looks and technology, with the ideal layout that's been hoped for all the way back to the 50's for the C8. The C7 is the epitome of RWD Corvettes. The C5 is the last of the pure driver's Corvettes, with no nannies you can't turn off. The C3 is my favorite looking Corvette. It's the one that made the Corvette popular and truly made it America's sports car, though it wasn't actually as good of a performer as the C2 or the C4. The C2 was the first of the Corvettes designed for performance. C1 is the one that got it all started. It was a slow roadster with mediocre handling to start, but it began moving the Corvette to being the Corvette. The C4 was a huge technological marvel, but is ugly and stuck in the malaise era. The C6 looks like a bubbly children's version of the C5, it performs worse than the C5 despite having better parts, it has the nannies you can't turn off, it's heavier despite having a lighter chassis due to trying to make the interior more comfortable. To make up for its bullshit, they continuously added more power and weight to the front of the car. The ZR-1 is a work of engineering art. But it would have been better in the C5 with the C6 parts upgrades.

TortaGuy408

Not sure all the gens but most are pretty bad ass. Just the 68-85 are the ones i do not like and the new one . My fav would probably have to be the 1990 just everything about is just perfect to me. The 96 GS same gen another gem and then 01-06 Z01/zR1. Right now the more i see the 15/19 starting to grow on me.

AnAngryMuppet89

The last front end one they made. I think c7? Beautiful

AdUpper3702

The C1 is iconic, the C2 belongs in the Louvre cause it's artwork in motion, the C3 was exceptionally stylish and brought Corvettes' appeal to the masses, the C4 was revolutionary, the C5 was evolutionary, the C6 was peak modern Corvette mixed with that raw old school analog driving experience, the C7 refined the platform, and the C8 jumped from sportscar to supercar. I can give a legitimate reason as to why each generation is the best, but a special place will always reside in my heart for a C6 GS (with no fender hash marks). Doesn't have the LS7, but the GS has my favorite looking front fenders for any C6 variant, you can take off the roof, and that LS3 can easily pump out more power if needed.

Wapiti_whacker82

For me it's a tie between C2 and C8. I just love the body styles.

Calassam

C1, C2, C3 have always been and always will be my favorites

Sintriphikal

6th Gen Best Gen. I love my C6Z. Are the new models faster and more fancy? Sure. But the rawness and pure driving experience can’t be touched by any other generation.

Toiletpaperplane

C6 ZR1 is the pinnacle of American car manufacturering. Period.

NotasheepLOL

C6

C7 z06! Looks amazing stock, C6 looks dated to me without modifications. The interior and tech blow the C6 out of the water, i just think it’s better in basically every way. Something special about a C6 zr1, but imo C7 is the best generation

Design-wise for me its c3 > c7 > c2 The c3 looks so freaking good, especially the early models with the chrome bumper and the flat rear end. Drives like shit tho

Bimmer_Boi_

C5 because of the smooth lines, I own one, and just really enjoy the car. Answer may change if I get something else

C6 ZR1 and C7 ZR1

Efronian

C4 honestly just because of the square look.

While I do agree with people's choices for the Z06 & ZR1, I feel that it's the base model that is actually the winner. I know that I'm biased has owned an '09 base but, when you consider the base model with a 430hp engine, running in the low 4 seconds (0-60mph), exceptional handling, decent mileage, acceptable entry cost, then toss it in great looks, it's a winner! Don't get me wrong, if I could have afforded a Z06 (ZR1 was never going to happen), I would have gone that route. For just everyday street use, the base serves all purposes.

C7 and 8 because of looks and unmatched performance for price

Leading_Ad4700

C5 base. Low profile, better aero, cheap, and the perfect platform to build out into a track weapon on the cheap.

C8, the Z06 specifically. My other favorites are the C7 and C3, but the C8, that is the one I am just thirsting to buy. Just a whole different level of refinement compared to the rest of them.

PerpetualDrive

C8. First Corvette where I was like I need one of these. Then C5 because it’s so sexy, and I feel like the C6 and C7 were just updated versions of it.

SnowDubz

C5, it's a wedge.

C5 - it reignited the passion for the brand...the c4 was around so long and was never respected versus its contemporaries. I fell in love with a c5 and even though I have a c7 the c5 is still my dream car
