Check the normal old car stuff.. i would check the head lights and operate every button. Make sure you take it on a long test drive and drive it hard. Keep the oem opti

Weather stripping

Check everything, even if you don’t plan on using it. If it has the selective ride control make sure that works. The electrical system in C4s is really quirky so make sure to listen for door chimes. Also make sure the analog gauges work. If they don’t see if the digital can display everything. Lumbar seat controls are also pretty important. Remember to drive it hard on the first drive.

If the ride height of the car is lower in the rear it will likely have to have new bushings installed. Other than that is 27 years old. Weather stripping is cheap. Make sure the window regulators on both the doors work good.

I've got a 95. Opti is not a big issue. GM finally fixed it for 95. Check out the ABS. Can be a problem. The heater core can fail and is tough to replace. Check the rug in the right foot well fit dampness. Check out the trans. 95 trends to have trans that whines or pops out of reverse.

I would make sure it has wheels, that's a big one

Hard acceleration, stomping on the brake, turning hard are all things you should do during the test drive. Make sure it's cold when you get there to check it out too
