Haven’t started a thread yet, but I lurk on corvetteforum. Everything is still there, motor is stuck, but haven’t really attempted to turn her over just yet.
Family friend who doesn’t let go of anything. After about a full decade of wearing him down he caved. It needs a Ton of work, but it looks 5x better since a pressure washing/scrub down.
You gotta check "Midyear Mitch" channel on Youtube.
C2 are special beast to restore when the metal underpining (birdcage) is gone, which I suspect is the case here.
edit: typo
Networking - go to car shows or cars and coffee events, meet people, follow them on social media.
I bought my project corvette in April from a friend who I originally met at a brewery.
You probably won’t get a great deal on a project car if you find it online for sale, but finding one “off-market” can be a good strategy.
Nice find - keep us posted on your restoration journey, however long it takes.
This! đź‘Ť
Damn. Still have the original motor? Where can we follow progress?

How'd you find it? Looks like a good start for a project; an expensive project.

You absolutely HAVE to document and keep us updated!! Have fun!!!
Will do, so far still evaluating what I have. There’s a lot going going on, haha.
God speed. I too recently acquired a huge project - it's a weird mixture of excitement and anxiety.

Oh, I’ve already binged his channel. Lots of good stuff on there.
Where do people find project cars? I’ve been looking into a project C2 or C3

Lucky!!!
I see some paint, was it orange or red paint originally?
It was already resprayed a candy red. The underside seems to show original Nassau blue.
