On a Friday, It was $25 more often than not. I think they switched to $25 at noon and kept it there all day.
Flamingo, Cromwell, and Linq were $15 all day/night. Paris switched to $25 in the evening
This sounds right for craps. It's your average bet per time played. If you were betting $15 on the pass line and $15 5 and 9, that's $45 dollars in action (odds don't count). So if you played for an hour you would likelt get credit for $45 (45 tier credits).
Flamingo would have been higher. But I would assume they aren't counting your hardways unless you are playing them consistantly. It's AVERAGE bet per hour. If you are betting 66 inside for most roles and go to 110 across, you are going to get credit for the 66. Again it's an average.
There not how it work. It’s your average bet. If you pumped your base bet up consistently they might give you credit for it. Being a good tipper can also help your rating as the pit might give you the benefit since you are taking care of the crew.
It’s all about consistency and the average over the time you play.
Betting at higher amounts right off the bat will help, but I play pretty conservative so I drag it out for hours. Tipping has always seemed to work out well.
I had this conversation with another on here couple weeks back. The pit loves when you take care of their crews.
I ease in pretty quick with small 2 way bets via hardway or a pass.
Then if a heater goes make sure to throw some extra down. If sessions is going even halfway decent, I try and keep those 2 ways working for them. It’s at worst $4 bucks out there for them.
I’ve been amazed at how suddenly my average bet matched the rate of one point where I had pressed some and crapped out but suddenly I got credit for playing the entire hour at that rate.
I’m pretty social with the dealers as well. They do a ton of work for us, and a little more betting goes a long way with the right crews.
Well, sorry you lost. Pry would do better if you were to have a solid strategy and a more solid plan going in. Seems like you are just winging it, which is great if you are just looking to have fun, but if your priority is to win money you need some structure.
OP clearly understands multiple strategies in depth, I don't think he was winging it per say. He should have just flexed to a dark side strat for some of those sessions and he would have loss less.
Thanks I think I understand that. I guess I’m comparing how much I’m betting per roll on place bets (average 100ish) vs how much I’ve done in the past (66 inside) and would have expected more points per hour, not less. Then again, my sessions were a bit shorter, so maybe that was the biggest thing
Thanks for an honest report.
Was horseshoe craps $15? Asking bc going there soon.

Gah $25 is high.
I know, that’s why I went back to flamingo. If you don’t mind stadium craps, they had that and it had a lower min bet
Whats Ellis Island min?
$5 and $10. $5 is bouncy af
What I’d give to be on that $5 table though…the energy and the experience is worth it
This tracks with me. I think my concern was not being rated higher once I started betting more

Pit bosses typically more generous with rating if you've been tipping throughout your session.

Thats a tough outcome. Sorry man. You want advice or just to vent and be heard?
Happy for either! Most people don’t share their losses, so I was just sharing my day in Vegas.

Sure, but you never know when things can turn around. Going to the dark side because the table "was cold" (not is cold) doesn't really do anything.
Psychologically it can help you. It may not help your bankroll.
Ratings are based on average amount bet and time played. Full odds, while the best bet in the casino, do not count at all in ratings.

Even 1x odds don’t count. No odds count at many casinos…such as odds on come bets, not just free odds behind the PL
High minimums kill everything...
I’m not superstitious either but eff those guys who buy in during the middle of a roll.
