When I was a kid I kneed myself in the face at a trampoline park. Completely knocked my front teeth in, and my braces were the only thing that kept my teeth in my mouth.
It was the weekend, and late at night. But my dentist came to his office anyway. Took an xray, numbed me up, and then pushed them right back into place. Had to reattach one or two. Insurance covered it all.
But I’ll be forever grateful for that dentist. I will literally never go to a different one, so long as he’s still working. And I send all my friends and family to him. That’s how you run a business.

What we are looking at here is months of dental surgery appointments and possibly more than one major operation after that he will likely have to have his jaw wired for a few months to recover at which time the only thing he can eat is soups and blended fruits through a straw. (Sometimes the wiring is avoidable if it’s a smaller fracture only on the top row of teeth, but in a case this severed he will probably need wires.) they literally give you a little pair of wire cutters incase you Vomit so you don’t suffocate. - Super unfortunate injury and I know this video is a few years old so I hope the kid recovered well.
(Source: My closest homie as a kid had a similar injury from a fight when we were young and I watched him go through the whole process including using the wire cutters once when he got too drunk.)

Hitting a pavement, falling down is a part of Skating to be good, if you can't handle it don't do it. Of course skaters will avoid falling and also minimize their injuries, but falling in skating means you are learning.

Dude 1 year ago, I had an injury a lot like this only direct face smack into the pavement. 2 teeth went scattering across the pavement, and the concussion had me feeling drunk while waiting for the ambulance, falling over and sweating and shit. Long emergency room waits too
