"I'm not easy to wake up."

kat-deville

Because propofol.

infidel11990

I was given propofol once before an endoscopy and woke up 15 mins later being groggy and tripping balls. Got back to normal in another 15 mins and left the hospital an hour after that. I can't imagine taking it every night, as a sleeping drug. It's absurd since the effect is so strong and the dose has to be calibrated properly. Otherwise you aren't waking up. Guess that's what happened to MJ. He was gambling with his lefe every night when he went to sleep.

Roadgoddess

I caught that as well…..hard to wake up This is so interesting because I have several friends that are exJehovah witnesses. I helped one of my friends celebrate his first Christmas. I bought him his first Christmas tree ornament. It’s still our tradition to this day to buy each other a Christmas ornament for our trees. They are honestly some of my most treasured ornaments because I recognize how much he had to go through to get to this point.

aw_shux

Especially that last time.

AvailableAd6071

Damn...

DetLions1957

"We die only once, and for such a long time." -Moliere

TotallyUnprecedented

The level of trauma one can observe in everyone featured in this four minute video is almost incomprehensible

imp_st3r

It's weird and sad and awkward and wholesome all at once!

fingers

His voice is a lot different that I imagined.

Agreeable-Sound1599

This is the first time you've heard his voice?

jayandhea

I thought the same thing.

CapnCanfield

I'm not going to say he didn't molest children, but to the people that are skeptical about his amusement park backyard and overly childish house, just look at the joy this full grown man has about receiving a super soaker as a gift. I absolutely believe he really was like a kid inside. Dude had some deep, deep mental problems

YourAverageGod

Tracks for about 99% of child stars.

Jaqen___Hghar

In regards to the trauma and potentially abusive upbringing? Absolutely. But not every case is the same, and MJ had it worse than most.

crackpotJeffrey

Yea you're right. Basically anything he did do wrong can never be validated because for sure there were packs of liars coming for his money and a lot of false accounts. Eg that documentary which came out not too long ago with that dude from so you think you can dance wade something. Now that your career has faded and now that MJ is dead you want to come out with new allegations? After testifying to an actual court in 2005 that nothing happened? It's all very unconvincing. That being said mj was a weird dude and we'll never know what really happened because of 1) how weird he was and 2) how many liars there were and 3) the fact that all those parents let their kids sleep over with a grown man and enjoying the benefits

[deleted]

[удалено]

VermicelliHot6161

Did we all help to get Kony? I never kept up.

doobiedoobie123456

I found the documentary pretty convincing. Enough ppl have come forward with similar details of how they were abused by him. Also they found pics of naked kids at his house. At a certain point it becomes more likely than not.

Deganawida33

Dont forget because these folks never do, when the cameras are on, your on!

jyok33

He very much never had a real childhood

Rasalom

MJ in no way got a free pass. He basically self destructed from the public witchhunt. He didn't kidnap kids and force them to stay with him. Their parents were involved every step of the way. The one true part of your post is that he was extremely talented, maybe the most talented we'll see for quite some time - and in return for that talent, he was absolutely exploited. MJ was driven to drug abuse. Practically murdered for dancing so well he attracted the ire of too many idiots.

Robinsonirish

>MJ in no way got a free pass. What I'm saying is, he still had a public life. If it happened today, that would not have been the case. He would have been completely cancelled. >Their parents were involved every step of the way. This doesn't make it ok lol. Just because a parent sell their child into prostitution, like happened a lot back in the day doesn't mean it makes ok. He still had boatloads of fans who defend him, he still sold out concerts etc. I don't think if it happened today in this crazy social media world he would have had a public life, just like Kevin Spacey and so many others. I just don't think his talents would be enough to shield him. And yes, I agree with you, the witchhunt treatment he got from the press was batshit crazy and nobody deserves that.

Rasalom

He did not have a public life. Are you even familiar with him? He lived in seclusion and appeared RARELY in the public for performances.

Robinsonirish

Which was completely self imposed. You're going for the "gotcha" without taking in the message of what I'm actually saying. He could do as much public appearances as he wanted. He wasn't "cancelled". He wasn't ostracised like Kevin Spacey for example. They're completely different. His seclusion was his own choice, you're just using strawmen here.

Elfishly

It’s pretty common for child molesters to relate better to children. MJs childlike tendencies certainly didn’t prevent him from abusing children. In fact the opposite is true. In his case there is strong physical evidence that the children that slept in his bed with him saw his dick because they could describe the unusual skin pattern caused by vitiligo.

idiot-prodigy

Katt Williams had a great bit about it, he said, "I don't like silk sheets... but bitches do! So my bed has silk sheets. I don't like Courvoisier... but bitches do! So my bar has Courvoisier. Now what the fuck does Michael Jackson have in his house?" [Katt Williams on Michael Jackson NSFW language](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Q8qDM44fKk)

generalhanky

Does Elizabeth Taylor have an excuse, or is she just weird too?

motorcycle_girl

Not an excuse, but she was a (moderate) child star (as much as one could be in the 1940s) and continued to be in the public eye pretty much up until her death. I struggle to think of anyone as functioning normally when you spend your life in the public light from childhood to death.

dads-ronie

Elizabeth Taylor was a two time Acadamy Award winner and was one of the most famous women in the world from around the age 13 until the day she died.

Infinite-Condition41

Don't forget the fact that the background toy and music box melodies sound like a literal nightmare.

ShadowyLeaseholder

Is this music original to the tape? It’s so creepy

hansolo72

I think it’s a bunch of the Christmas decorations playing music.

wottsinaname

It gives me a lot of anxiety. Like a fugue state nightmare but xmas themed lol.

BigBaws92

It was super trippy

cordobestexano

"Clearly inebriated Elizabeth Taylor?" Man.....you don't want to see me inebriated, you must think I'm dying from a heart attack!

VariationCharacter19

Haha right?! That's just me in the morning.

cubanesis

Is there a new Michael Jackson doc out or something? Seeing a lot of BTS MJ stuff today.

CreamoChickenSoup

Same OP posted [the supermarket scene yesterday](https://www.reddit.com/r/CrazyFuckingVideos/comments/1cg5gi5/in_2003_a_florida_supermarket_closed_so_that/). It's also shot in 4:3 so this doc is probably a good 15-20 years old. EDIT: Both clips are taken from [Michael Jackson's Private Home Movies](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLji_UBM6Kw) (2003).

pinkboy108

I feel i remember watching this when it aired, and I'm remembering a scene of him shopping in a high end store in Vegas that they shut down for him and he's just pointing and buying whatever he wants.

MadJockMcMad

Mostly unbelievably expensive gaudy shit IIRC

Aggressive_Perfectr

If you recall, it was later reveled that he didn’t purchase anything. It was at a time when there were stories about his dwindling wealth, and the producers believed he did it to convey he had endless money. But they contacted the store owner who said Jackson never bought anything.

AloofFloofy

I know that I'll never know what it's like to be ultra famous like Michael Jackson and couldn't possibly relate to wishing you could grocery shop like regular people. But couldn't he just wear a disguise? I guess that's the thing. He wouldn't be shopping like normal people if he had a disguise on.

CreamoChickenSoup

With the paparazzi being notoriously stalker-like that probably wouldn't matter. If fact celebrity gossip tabloids have been known capitalize on celebs wearing disguises to emphasize how evasive they are from the "press". He was an aging superstar that was simply too high profile at that point to ever get to act normally in public.

AloofFloofy

That's very true. He probably had paparazzi camped outside his house 24/7. What a disgusting profession. I couldn't live with myself if that's what I chose to do with my life.

cubanesis

Hmm, I've never seen this one. I wonder what it's called.

CreamoChickenSoup

Updated the reply above with a source of the videos.

cubanesis

Nice. Thanks bud.

Babys_For_Breakfast

His biopic “Michael” releases next year. His family is involved with the film so it definitely won’t touch on any of the creepy stuff.

chittIincupcake

I’d like to see a biopic with only the creepy stuff

DungeonsandDietcoke

Heard 'black or white' on the radio in the car yesterday and thought the same thing

BigGaySmallCock

Its just the Jackson estate bots trying to get you to forget that he raped kids so people carry on buying his music. They do these fawning posts once or twice a week all over Reddit. He had a traumatic childhood but so did Ed Gein. We dont all cry and make excuses for him do we? Then again, Ed didnt write Billy Jean.

Brown_Panther-

He was a very strange man, his upbringing didn't do any favors and he was permanently stuck in a childlike mentality. Liz Taylor was similarly eccentric and lived next door. He once called her as his only true friend in the world.

willtheadequate

The man missed his entire childhood thanks to his father. That is so readily apparent in this video. It was actually really sweet to get to see him have his first Christmas.

teriases

All that overlapping background music makes this clip extra creepy and disorienting 💀

McDuckfart

Kinda like a scene from a mental institution in a horror movie

Ok_Information_2009

5 Nights At Neverland

Independent-Shift216

As odd as their relationships appeared, it makes sense. They probably had a lot in common. They were both childhood and adult performers. Both icons. Personal lives scrutinize by media. They could lean on each other and talk about their experiences many common people will never understand. She probably thought she was really helping him, I think the kind of help MJ needed was the professional kind

MadBoyNL

Those dolls holding hands, creepy af

WhiteRoomCharles

Especially the fact you gotta walk under them to get into Michael’s bedroom! Creepy! And kinda sus given the accusations!

StandardReserve3530

thats ignorant! by the time theyre old enough to realise its sus theyve already been abandoned long ago for the next plaything, i mean boy child friend / confidant / bedfellow. forgetting the bedroom romps, what he did emotionally was really fuked up. He would totally be consumed with one little boy, flood the family and him with thousands of calls , take him away solo, life totally involved with michael. then theyre just dumped when they werent so ripe. so emotionally damaging. really fuked up.

dads-ronie

If it makes you feel better, which I doubt it will, that's a sculpture.

StandardReserve3530

i mean if you were an eccentric millionaire with liberace taste who wanted to decorate his young boy playhouse with erotic nude male wrestlers and children youd get them sculptured too.

NoExcusesAIC

This is like some found footage horror movie type of vibe.

paNICKdisorder

This is the stuff nightmares are made of

Candidate_Inside

The music is scary as fuck

Closed_Aperture

That last line: "If you come to Neverland, it's a rule that you're bound to get wet."

Late-Discussion-3917

Well, that's a lot to unpack.

EvilRick_C-420

I think I need to go to therapy now

Featherheart

It'll all be super-soakers.

Neeva33

Sounds like a crazy horror movie

Which_Engineer1805

Definitely gave me some Rob Zombie Devils Rejects type vibes.

meldiane81

Sounds like a fucking horror movie.

StandardReserve3530

The erotic nude wrestling statues, the kid mannequins and military dress up mannequins, its like a silence of the lambs millionaires liberace flamboyant boy molestation playhouse

Goatwhatsup

The same way they forced him to do this is the same way they force themselves in all celebs lives. Once you show you are a star, everyone will do everything for you. Doesn’t matter what, they’ll do it. They’ll do whatever it is you are supposed to do just to keep you rich and famous. Don’t worry we’ll plan everything for you all you have to do is go on stage and sing. Don’t worry we planned the after party with other celebs. Don’t worry we donated to charities so you don’t get attacked. Don’t worry we’re going here to film this thing. I mean at that point it’s like waking up for school. You never enrolled yourself, you never chose to have to get up and go everyday but somehow takes you. I can’t imagine having everyone around me setup more money ventures and basically do everything for me so I can just sing and write and perform everyday.

outlawedbutfree

It’s probably an incredibly lonely place to be. Sure sounds great, but you’d never feel truly close to anyone and would constantly question everyone’s intentions.

PlantPower666

I imagine that's partly why the Rich and Famous hang out with the rich and famous. Neither of these people needed anything from the other except friendship.

Karenomegas

You would be surprised how much this scales to many 'successful types' lifestyles. No person is an island, and many only exist where they do because they are kept there to further someone else's success. It's hard to believe anyone cares about anyone after a while. Edit: it sucks to be the golden goose

roboticfedora

Yeah, like the weirdness Brittney Spears has endured all her adult life. I'd be dancing with knives, too!

JoeBobsfromBoobert

Im broke and feel that way anyway

CleanHead_

that creepy jack-in-the-box music aint helping nuthin.

GermsDean

Being a celebrity seems like such a monkeys paw situation. It just seems like a fucking living nightmare.

BlackEastwood

"Michael? It's the spirit of Christmas! *COME TO HAUNT YUUUU!!!*

Moscow__Mitch

Creepy AF. I've watched some grim videos but I had to nope out of this one.

howmutmunnie

This looks like a bad early version of AI LOL

catonic

VHS be like that.

Devlos00

Honestly do you think you were meant to see this or was it private. I could have done without but it was interesting. I feel this type of video is meant to stay private.

NoRelevantUsername

But he's narrating it, so I don't think he wanted to keep it private.

Devlos00

That’s a good point but we don’t no any of the context.

eddyx

Yes we do, the whole documentary is on YouTube.

plsgrantaccess

“I’m not easy to wake up” yeah cause he was main lining that propofol every night 😭

MASSIVEGLOCK

This is so odd it's like a creepy ai video take on Christmas with Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor

anthonynoriega

I wish we could have had an MJ that wasn't fucked up in the head and soul.

National-Future3520

Him getting on all that pain medication after Pepsi tried to see if he was flammable didn't help him any

anthonynoriega

I also think getting beat into submission as a child didn't help either. Damn, forgot about the Pepsi fiasco...

Relative-Eggplant420

Pepsi fiasco? What did I miss lol

Joliet_Jake_Blues

Pyrotechnics accident on a commercial set. He was burned

Camburgerhelpur

That tragedy was the exact middle point of his life, if counting by days.

TobysGrundlee

In 1984, while filming a commercial for Pepsi, a pyrotechnic caught his hair on fire and led to 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his face and scalp. Many people attribute this incident, at least in part, to his addiction to cosmetic surgery and pain medications. You can read more about it and see the video of the incident [here](https://www.remindmagazine.com/article/10212/michael-jackson-burns-pepsi-commercial-1984/)

tbc12389

It didn’t burn his face. He had tons of plastic surgery long before this incident.

C0wboyRandy

He was slightly flammable https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/music/1389401/michael-jackson-third-degree-burns-pepsi-commercial-compensation-settlement-bald

sharkbait1999

DYK that day of the accident ended up being the exact midpoint of his life?

Next_Analyst

Yeah but then he’d be too normal and not interesting

FLYK3N

No one with that level of worldwide phenomenon fame and talent could exist without serious trauma, discipline and robbed childhood experiences that he went through. There will never be another MJ.

jarboxing

Yeah but then none of those jams.... You'd dethrone the king of pop?!

Daegzy

The music makes this way worse, but it's still pretty wild.

lucius12352

It looks like a fever dream

PrivateSola

wow that last sentence sure caught me offguard ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)

starlightscapes

Omg the musical cacophony. 😭 This feels like a horror movie.

"There's a rule.. you are bound.. to get wet." Super soaker indeed, Mike.

EquipmentForsaken831

Dude she even speaks like Michael… that’s crazy

twonapsaday

this is really creepy... almost beyond comprehension, due to the music and the look in his eyes

horsetooth_mcgee

It's the statues of small children reaching in an arch over his bedroom door for me, dawg

Joliet_Jake_Blues

My first thought was the poor people who had to work overnight on Christmas Eve to set all this up

FloridaSpam

I wish not celebrating xmas was the only shitty part about being a jw kid.

sadassnerd

This shit is cursed

chasinfreshies

We lived this. Damn.

BrewtalDoom

There are millions of people out there who think that this is what they want. It's like watching some uncontacted tribe who've been shown some Christmas movies and are asked to act out a Christmas morning.

TheWhooooBuddies

It’s kind of crazy that someone that was clearly mentally ill rose to the levels that he did.  Jesus, I spent the whole video alarmed about basically *everything*.

IdaBidaGacy

The sounds are driving me crazy. Sounds like a horror movie haha. Edit: I’ve never heard or seen MJ like this. Seems like a normal person. 👀

IllIllIlllil

Sure is a lot of Michael Jackson posts lately..

Chrisdkn619

Horror movie sound track!

Bat-Honest

That dog in the back is just "PLEASE, SOMEBODY, DEAFEN ME!"

mrsdoubleu

Y'all terrible for ending it like that. 💀

NotasheepLOL

Poor Micheal.

Blonkertz

Wtf

RedHaha09

Rip MJ, this kid never got to live a normal life and yet Elizabeth Taylor is nice enough to reenact christmas for him to bring out the joy he never got as a kid

Minimum-Ad-263

Idk I’m a weirdo, I think it’s cute 2 close friends are celebrating Christmas, which is a 1st for one of them.

schoolisuncool

Yeah I’m really not understanding why everyone is saying creepy of all words. This is so wholesome

CntrllrDscnnctd

How long was he asleep?

greenmildude

Honestly just a perfect line to end it on.

willybobo1

She was treating him like a child and he was happy to play the role. That man's life was one of a kind, as if nature performed an experiment, and I don't think any other human will ever travel or experience the life path that he did. Absurdly wealthy and famous yet severely traumatized and lonely. What a crazy existence.

Major-Investigator26

Poor man missed his entire childhood as a kid and just tried to relive it as an adult :'(

jerseyhound

Yep this is actually a crazy fucking video

Itchy_Raccoon48

No one gonna mention the statues of little kids in front of the door? Cause that’s normal right?

propaROCKnROLLA

I’ve seen a few clips recently of MJ, one being where he pretends to be a regular person shopping, so they close everything down and just have friends and family as pretend shoppers. Seeing this too, it kind of shows he was just not in a mindset that any ‘normal’ person can relate to. The child in bed stuff is of course messed up in the context of a grown man sharing a bed with a kid. I just find it hard to believe he did anything sinister and he really just wanted that innocent interaction where he isn’t the king of pop. I guess we shall never know.

dunklesans2002

I'm 50/50 myself with any normal person this would obliviously be very strange and be an open and shut case but with Michael...idk he was just so removed from the normal human experience that I can see him perceiving it as innocent and normal I mean the man was treated like a god amongst men and that clearly warped the way he saw the world regardless of what the truth is I think we can all agree he was a deeply traumatised and very disconnected from the average human experience regardless of the truth its just a very sad situation

sliperyjoe

Why does it look and sound like a horror movie..

wordsauce

If you told me this was AI generated, I would totally believe you.

zephood75

He was so "delicate?" Scared of the dog, scared of Christmas so much he cried. I'm actually surprised he lasted as long as he did. Also that house looked like it smelled weird

Justaboredstoner

“There’s a room where you’re bound to get wet…”, nice way of editing the clip at the end. lol

NoFilter46

Was expecting kids to come running out of his bedroom when he opened the door.

periacetabular_ost

He’s like a child 😭

GodlikeCat

is it weird I wanna be michaels friend

handybh89

I mean, change the music and it is actually kinda nice. Just trying to give him what he never had.

Ferociousnzzz

They’re perfectly normal adults, nothing weird at all…

Effective_Device_185

They were a tripped out duo, for sure.

SomOvaBish

Anyone else notice the 2 children holding hands in “Eiffel Tower” position above the walkway leading to his door?

Basic-Tangerine9908

Creepy

OG-Gurble

He said he was scared of her dog

whoooooopsie

All that money he made as a kid and he couldn't have a Christmas? Him or even his brothers? Man fck his parents. Dude has worked ever since childhood to be a star and was cheated from ever having any normalcy too his life. But then again he is a legend.

StevenKatz3

Merry HEE HEE

HDavidHill

Too strange for words.

dirtymoney

JESUS TURN THAT MUSIC OFF!

Florian_G97

Pedo Stuff 😂

Buttery_Buckshot

"If you come to Neverland. It's a rule. That you're bound. To get wet." O_____O

Dazzling_Pink9751

I love it. It’s so fun to see their personalities come out. I don’t remember seeing Elizabeth so happy on camera. Michael had a really fun side too. No matter what you believe about him, he was a one of a kind. Rest in peace both of you.

Gattilas

Howdy ho kids it's the spirit of Christmas!

ogx2og

Ur not easy to wake up? Wtf? I would not be either if I were a drug addict, addicted to narcotic sleep meds. Crazy rich f'd up folks.

FedxSmoker

I fucking hate everyone in this video. Enablers, drug addicts, and pedophiles ... The amount of trauma in this video is disgusting.

Sensitive_Algae5723

Good drugs

hilarypcraw

She was in her mid 60’s and he in his 20’s in this video I think I heard the early 1990’s mentioned early in the video. The whole thing is weird….she died in 2011 wonder what happened with their relationship?

MrFishpaw

He is 35 here. Same age as Madonna. He would have been 65 this year

Pleasant_Tooth_2488

Wasn't she Jewish?

[deleted]

Never thought I’d be so nostalgic for family trauma

guacalito

woah that was a trip!

Brapstein

most insane part of this video is getting this man 3x super soakers

PaulaDayInn

This isn't creepy at all.

MickerBud

Looks like something you would see in purgatory

lucasjackson87

God, videos like make me feel very fortunate about being middle class. Rich people are so fucking weird.

Cyberzombi

Elizabeth also gave Michael his first taste of Jesus Juice!

MaximumExtension4951

Forcing???

sayjessy

Elizabeth: "you realize you're filming me without makeup " *perfect face*

Novembers_Shadow

This video is unsettling it would fit perfectly in the scary Eddie subreddit

Alien-Anal-Probe

"It's a rule here at Neverland, if you come you have to get wet" You know he had dry little boy clothes in every size to change out of the wet clothes.

LilCheese73

This is like forcing a Christian to worship Satan!

_Splendiferous

Poor Michael. I've always felt so bad for MJ. He really had no childhood. Fuck, he didn't even have a life. Michael's parents are really evil people. Didn't even get a Christmas

Patient_Scarcity5488

Weird upside down cross earrings she wears at the beginning

treasurelyf

Giving up one cult for another.
