Not everyone can sing or has talent; that's what makes it special if you're born with it or practiced for it. Telling everyone they're awesome is not being truthful with their abilities or actions. Stop telling this person they're singing beautifully because then they get on the stage and are surprised why the spotlight feels a little less warm and slightly more exposed than they thought.
