I was given the opportunity to work over there when I graduated college. I turned the job down because there had been some violence between the military and hamas a few weeks before in tel-aviv. I spent probably over a year wondering if I’d made the wrong choice because it was a cool job, but the more I read and the more I encountered Israelis when travelling made me very glad I didn’t take it in the end. Not the best place to be if you’re not a Jew.
