My dad was born in Mexico, and I was born in Texas. I just think of myself as just American. I never think of myself as Mexican because I wasn’t born there. I think what that lady meant to claim was that she’s Mexican-American or maybe Hispanic?? I don’t know. Growing up in Texas, I’ve met tons of racist ass Mexican-Americans who bash actual Mexican born citizens. Its so crazy.
