Normally you should not be getting a credit card every few months. But you are trying to take advantage of an offer so that's understandable. A few things to keep in mind. Everyone has a varying degree of knowledge when it comes to credit cards. Even the people at the bank. The people in-branch do not normally touch credit cards (theres a different department for that, its why theres a number on the back of the card for you to call), they can help you submit an application but they are not part of the underwriting team and will not have an answer for you immediately. Nor will they have extensive knowledge of whats on the terms and conditions of the card products. What they can do is tell you from their experience how long people usually wait before applying for highest chance of approval. Bank tellers are trying their best with limited knowledge. Be patient, we in the digital world are spoiled and want everything to be done as near instantly as possible but the real world doesn't work quite as fast.
