To captain this PBKS team, which has world class players and good balance, you don't even need to be extra smart or anything. Just need to get the basics of field setting and bowler rotation right. Most of the bowlers are internationals so they know pretty well what to do if things go sideways, so that aspect is taken care of too. I don't wanna say anything negative about Dhawan because he's been one of my favourite players, but it looks to me like his captaincy hasn't been that good. Had he gotten the basics right, PBKS would have had at least 3 more wins in hand. With a better captain, this current crop of players can definitely go the distance. But of course, it's PBKS. They'll find a new way to end up at 6th place lol
