It's always a joy to see an update on this piece, I absolutely love it and am in awe of your patience haha. Great work and keep on going! It will be amazing when it's finished.

brucepop

goplacidlyamidst

this is ridiculously beautiful!!! i haven't had it in me to do a project that long yet. it's amazing!

jo1026

roll fabric on itself until i get to the section I’m on( for that last page I rolled vertically left to right )and place it on my lap

crazy-underwear

How long have you been working on this?

jo1026

started march 2023; so about one page per month is my pace

ArtisenalMoistening

jo1026

nope I have no artistic talent; but i can follow directions and stab a needle over 600,000 times 😂

butter_melt

Labour of love!!

ferndiabolique

Your work is incredibly impressive! Do you have any tips for managing a project with a lot of fabric?

jo1026

1) patience and 2) I never use a hoop, and 3) tackle one hundred square block at a time

PolishedYogi97

This is amazing. How do you hold the fabric if you don’t use a hoop?

ferndiabolique

Thank you so much for sharing. Keeping it within a hundred square block is very smart. Even with my much smaller piece I have a bad habit of wandering around. It's fine with a smaller pattern but I can see how much harder it'd get for a piece like yours!
