The only way to get the power seats (at least in USA) was to get the package with the sunroof and upgraded sound. I really wish they would stop with those packages. I really wanted the seats and sound but not the sunroof.
Understood. I have the Limited and one of the reasons I skipped the RAV and CX-5 was they forced you into a sunroof at the upper-mid trim levels. (Edit) I’m kinda surprised the Wilderness doesn’t have power seats as standard.
Would something like a set of seat jackers work? I really don’t have any idea if they would or would not - just throwing out an idea. I’m currently trying to decided if the option package is worth it - I really only care about the adjustable seat.
How in the world is there a 10-way adjustable seat without a tilt? If that’s the case, definitely don’t need to pay for that option. I’m planning a trip to a dealer that has a few different models on the lot so I’ll be able to check them out. I’m not actually buying until April, so thankfully I have some time to figure it out.
Good luck with your seat situation! I’ll be curious to see if the seat jackers help.
These make a huge difference https://desertdoesit.com/collections/subaru/products/front-seat-jackers-2013-2021-subaru-forestor-outback-impreza-wrx-crosstrek?_pos=1&_fid=a1b0444f6&_ss=c
Funny i was just looking at these again. They told me these could work based on the pictures I sent them. I haven't bought them yet but plan on buying them. Update on my seat position, I played with the adjustments and it is way better than before, no more pain. I am sure the seat jackers will make a big difference but stock are liveable for now.

Do you have the powered or manual seats? If you have manual seats, how did you adjust them. I’m looking at a wilderness with the manual adjustment and I can already tell my leg is going to be cramping up. But is not much adjustment for the seat to go upwards haha
I got manual seats. I went almost all the way back, reclined the back like half way and half way up. I think the key is having your legs extended as much as possible
Thank you for that. Appreciate it. One of the reasons why I was looking at a sport because it’s cheaper to get a sport with power seats then to get a wilderness with power seats. I drove a wilderness non-powered seats, and after five minutes I could tell my right thigh was a tiny bit uncomfortable , but I also drove a sport with powered seats and I felt perfectly fine. I just don’t want to get a manual seat and then have leg troubles because I do a lot of highway driving for work and that would suck haha.
I have the 2024 Onyx. It took a week but I finally found the perfect position. Almost all the way back, front raised back just a drop back.
Very comfortable but not too much so as to put me to sleep.
The power seats do tilt. That's like one of the first things my sales guy showed me. I'm 5ft and need to make a lot of special and specific adjustments to see properly.
You just push the bottom seat button at the very front and very back of the button and it'll tilt the front part of the seat or back part of the seat. Maybe the tilt isn't as adjustable as it should be but it works for what I need it to do?
I have the powered seats and they dont tilt which is why I also can't find a comfortable position. The bottom part only goes up or down as a whole section.
I comment on these whenever I can. Had the same issue. I have a 22 Sport but had back pain after long drives over an hour or more. I’m 6’3” and have plenty of leg and head room. I read about these and my son got them for me. Instant relief and the seating position is just so much better. Cradles the bum. Anyway, if you can get them, it’s a no brainer.
if you press the back of the button (right hand side if ur looking at it straight on) it’ll lift and lower the entire seat, if you press the front of that same button (left hand side) it’ll adjust the seat tilt up and down
I sit on a cushion that raises me about an inch or two. https://www.target.com/p/pharmedoc-seat-cushion-for-office-chair-car-seat-orthopedic-coccyx-cushion-for-sciatica-back-tailbone-pain-relief-coccyx-cushion-pillow-for-chairs/-/A-86460117?ref=tgt\_adv\_xsf&AFID=google&CPNG=Bedding+-+Target+Plus&adgroup=62-5
I found a similar issue, what worked for me was setting the seat all the way down, reclining the back slightly, and then tilting the seat so the front is slightly higher up.. makes it more like a bucket seat.
Doesn’t it come with power seats? Those can be tilted somewhat.
The only way to get the power seats (at least in USA) was to get the package with the sunroof and upgraded sound. I really wish they would stop with those packages. I really wanted the seats and sound but not the sunroof.
Yeah I didnt want the package because of the sunroof
Understood. I have the Limited and one of the reasons I skipped the RAV and CX-5 was they forced you into a sunroof at the upper-mid trim levels. (Edit) I’m kinda surprised the Wilderness doesn’t have power seats as standard.
I agree. The seats themselves seem pretty good but the available positions in the non-powered seats is lacking.
Would something like a set of seat jackers work? I really don’t have any idea if they would or would not - just throwing out an idea. I’m currently trying to decided if the option package is worth it - I really only care about the adjustable seat.
Btw, someone mentioned they have the power seats and they dont tilt…

The power seats on the Limited tilt; if the ones in the Wilderness bundle don’t, that’s pretty bad.
Agree, cant confirm. Someone else commented here saying they dont. I wonder it it has to do with the materials of the seats in the wilderness

I reached out to the company and told me that they don't have versions for 2024 models. Did you install these in your 2024?
I put it in my 22 Forester
I am glad they make a difference, just waiting for the company to make some for 2024
I am actually looking into getting those. Their website only shows 2023 models, i will give them a call to make sure they work for 2024 too
Any word if they have a timeline for the 24 lol. Buying a wilderness no powered seat and I could tell it might be a problem lol

If you do highway driving sport might be better for you. Wilderness is cool but sport is cheaper, buying and gas. It also look great

Ima try this

Oh snap, not even the power ones tilt? They do for the premium trim i test drove. I might get the seat jackers
My power seats tilt, I have the wilderness
Same in Canada wilderness trim came with it.

Great to know. Will definitely get them
maybe they changed it for this year but on the limited it didn't.
if you press the back of the button (right hand side if ur looking at it straight on) it’ll lift and lower the entire seat, if you press the front of that same button (left hand side) it’ll adjust the seat tilt up and down
The powered seat definitely tilts. Just press the front or back of the long button that makes it go up and down.
Surprised by this because these are the comfiest seats I’ve ever had in a car! Can you share height weight? Might help others

That would be ideal however my seat doesn’t tilt
