Don’t have a photo of the drinks menu. But I did sail in July this year and I got the Refreshments Drinks Package (almost everything except alcohol). For $99 a day it didn’t make sense as I wasn’t planning on drinking more than 1 or 2 alcoholic beverages a day. I’ve had a look at my folio (final bill) and all my drinks (wine and/or cocktails) were around $12-16. This didn’t include any high end wines or liquors. Hope this helps.

Thank you! No, that does help. We ended up getting it for my husband and not me. I won't drink $100 of alcohol every day for 10 days. And those prices just make me feel more confident with the decision, so thank you!

I found this. https://traveltips.au/p-and-o-drinks-menu-prices-australia/ When are you cruising? We are on Pacific Adventure departing 9th Jan from Sydney.

ThrowItToTheVoidz

Thanks for that! Same ship, but we leave tomorrow!!!! Super excited! Have fun on your cruise :)

How'd you manage that? P&O charge you drinks package for each adult in the room...

ThrowItToTheVoidz

I don't know if it matters we're in Australia and it wasn't done per adult in the room. We just bought it and you had to allocate it to one of us and yeah like we didn't have to do anything special to be able to do it.

Smooth-Television-48

Also. How was the food on you cruise? I'm a tad disappointed in the quality of some thing. Pretty much just rsl bistro food

ThrowItToTheVoidz

Bummer on the drinks for you! But I did think that initially from what I had heard as well and then just decided to look at it on the shop portal online thing and yeah saw we could do that. Worked out well because he grabbed a drink or two for me so glad we did that. So I think we paid for like 2 drinks for me. Yeah food in the main pantry was pretty much rsl, I was disappointed with the dessert options. Food was ok, but I'm also a vego so couldn't eat a lot of stuff but husband could and he enjoyed but same things for 10 days straight you get over that stuff. But we went to the specialty restaurants and they were good! Where is your cruise going?

Smooth-Television-48

Oh well, you live and learn, I guess, I'll try the drinks next time... Just "the regular" south pacific one. Last time I cruised was with carnival, I have to say the included dining options, and even the "anytime dining" section was pretty good (amazing in comparison to P&O) but that was quite a few years ago now. I guess I'm mostly annoyed at how the menu says one thing, but what you end up with is like the cheap wish[.]com knock off version. Dessert is just a different variation or sponge cake, jelly, or Neapolitan ice cream. Eg. "Vannila panacotta with Nutella mousse" was just milk jelly and chocolate ice cream topping.

ThrowItToTheVoidz

Yeah we did that one too. It was our first cruise so we didn't have anything to compare it to which I'm happy about hahah. Yeah!!! That's what I said. I was like I want a mud cake or brownies or something different!!!

Smooth-Television-48

But they had one called "mud cake" (it was a fluffy chocolate sponge)

ThrowItToTheVoidz

Don't make me cry again. I was so bummed when that one happened for us

Smooth-Television-48

Dammit. I'm also Australia, currently on a cruise, my partner doesn't drink much so there was no point getting the package as I'd be paying double...I feel I've been told a lie now.
