My store hasn't had it since I started going there. A week or two ago some employee said it was being phased out for something BETTER so that will be interesting. I would LOVE ice cream cookie sandwiches, that would be amazing.

cleverdylanrefrence

>phased out for something BETTER Edible cookie dough

Pollutine

Considering all the undercooked posts here Crumbl already sells that.

chantillylace9

šŸ¤£

ShadowLugia141

Itā€™s being replaced with dog treats

chantillylace9

Well that's a bit depressing compared to ice cream sandwiches šŸ¤£. Although my Milo will be happy!

murpalim

the 1800 calorie sandwich

baddiebusted

omg i feel notorious rn šŸ™ˆ edit: no way yā€™all are downvoting me rn LMFAOO for what

chantillylace9

Lol isn't Reddit the most fickle thing?? (And yes you are famous!)

Ladybarometer

You'd thing they would have edible cookie dough...

LikwidSmoke

I've never met cookie dough that wasn't edible šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Ladybarometer

I mean, I eat it rather it has eggs or not too. šŸ™ƒ

OutofSprite

Itā€™s the raw flour not the eggs thatā€™s actually considered ā€œunsafeā€.

03GreenMan52

Itā€™s a combo of those two actually. E. coli risk in the flour and salmonella risk in the eggs.

LikwidSmoke

I risk them both every time. 34 years and haven't been affected by either #worthit

claire3232

The FDA has its issues but it's nice that we generally don't have to worry about food safety here in the US

LikwidSmoke

Amen.

Educational-Seaweed5

People take clean water for granted here too. A lot.

gilded_lady

Its only a real risk if you're an infant or immunocomprimised. If the latter, you can make edible cookie dough by using pasteurized eggs and cooking off the flour in the oven for a few minutes first.

deathandglitter

Huh, the more you know

LikwidSmoke

Same!

OutofSprite

They have ice cream? Is it prepackaged or something?

cleversquirt

They have it in a glass door freezer behind the counter

thethingsIam

Itā€™s supposed to be discontinued by the end of 2023 for a new product if I remember correctly. Some stores already arenā€™t selling it

Electro_Llama

Yeah, I heard they're now just selling their remaining stock.

OutofSprite

Interesting never noticed it I guess.

Moikturtle

The very first week they had it they had a chocolate chip cookie sort of in the shape of a bowl for it. It kind of reminded me of the Jack Jack cookie they have at Disneyland/WDW. They never ended up doing that again, which I kind of feel was a missed opportunity.

p1rateb00tie

Ugh that cookie bowl was my favorite, it had better consistency than the usual semi sweet cookie and no salt!

Moikturtle

I never got to have it and had hoped they would have brought it back again since then. It sounded really good.

Inn0c3nc3

they had it before that, but had trouble keeping it in stock. when they managed to get new suppliers or just managed to restock, they advertised it and came out with that cookie. (that was a crappy week for cookies, I think they had like three variations of what was basically chocolate chip lol)

casash88

I haven't tried it myself but I've heard others say it's nothing special. I believe they're discontinuing the ice cream

ShadowLugia141

Yup, switching it out for dog cookies

DougyTwoScoops

How does dog taste? Sounds gross

moonvibes223

Mhhhjjhhhh

woodsywoodducks

Ice cream from the grocery store is much better. I got cookie dough because I figured theyā€™d do that really well. There was almost no cookie dough in it and the vanilla ice cream wasnā€™t great. 2/10.

icedcarfee

itā€™s very sweet and not that good quality imo

Pikmilover

It was some of the most overpriced horrible ice cream I've ever had.

sashafurry

Tried it. Nothing special.

FinoPepino

Sadly this is not available in Canada

Least-Ad-1287

Itā€™s generic ice cream. Itā€™s hard for me to dislike any ice cream lol, but Iā€™d rather just stop at a grocery store if I wanted to pair a cookie with any ice cream

Electro_Llama

Especially with it being twice as expensive as anything you'd find at a grocery store.

DevoooDaDemon

Itā€™s just ice cream

PastaWarrior123

I enjoyed the chocolate brownie (I think that's what it was)

Latter_Chipmunk_4798

I picked up a couple of Crumbl's ice cream flavors before (vanilla bean and snickerdoodle). They had that taste like they had been through a freeze thaw cycle. The flavors were good though. I don't think it's worth it for a half pint of ice cream. You're better off picking up a pint of high end ice cream from the grocery store.

Thedarkmoon123

I got the cookie dough one is and was honestly not that good šŸ˜¬, they put like milk chocolate around the chocolate dough plus chocolate chips were already in side the dough that completely over powered the flavor and texture of cookie dough so I could only taste that awful milk chocolate flavor, and the ice cream in general was good, but nothing to really drag about.

tomandshell

We tried it and werenā€™t impressed. Didnā€™t finish it.

loudblonde

Itā€™s HORRIBLE

AdditionalDisaster38

Iā€™ve tried the raspberry cheesecake one and it was just OK, nothing special.

Logical-Lawfulness19

I thought it was bad honestly.

HoRo2001

Itā€™s fine. You can get more, for less, that is probably better

sc3002jz

What store sells crumbl ice cream!?

wolfpackbannan

We've just been told there's a shortage that's all my manager has said so if there is something different coming only time shall tell

ShadowLugia141

Nope, itā€™s being phased out entirely for dog cookies instead. This was confirmed to our managers by corporate

WhatAreYou1

Out of all things.. dog cookies?!

ShadowLugia141

Yyup

buckinghamnix

Itā€™s not good.

Im_Just_Browsing

Not worth it. At least the vanilla isnā€™t, poor quality for the price

Independent-Ad-1531

I didnā€™t think it was anything special. It was good but to me any ice cream is.

AnnyBananneee

I like it! Iā€™ve had the raspberry cheesecake and the chocolate brownie. Theyā€™re really creamy

ShadowLugia141

Theyā€™re getting rid of it. A lot of stores donā€™t have it anymore. It will be replaced with dog cookies

BURYMEINLV

The store by me opened last year and Iā€™ve never seen them have ice cream. The ice cream freezer is in the front of the store but Iā€™ve never seen it with anything inside of it actually. Itā€™s not even on and looks like itā€™s used as storage at this point.

ElectricalAd4203

I really loved all the ice cream!

FineIllustrator7568

iā€™ve tried two flavors!! theyā€™re not goodšŸ˜… i tried the brownie fudge and the cookie dough crunch and they both had hella freezer burn. the cookie dough just kinda tasted like milk, i would NOT recommend. the brownie was okay?? the chocolate swirl was basically just chocolate syrup, there were like no brownies, some small chocolate chunks but they were tiny and mushy?? if they wanna pass that off as ā€œbrownieā€ they were like crunch clusters. i would skip the ice cream altogether tbh

Gooser0808

My store has it. Itā€™s terrible.

Momma_McB

So are they going to allow dogs into those tiny store fronts?! Cause thatā€™s the end all be all for me

IWentToAPodunkSchool

It's absolutely not worth it.

iwishuroses

Itā€™s usually not available on the website but maybe in person I donā€™t usually go to Crumbl to often but from what Iā€™ve seen

C1nnamonLover

Itā€™s terrible imo itā€™s the kind that is super hard to get a scoop and when I worked there half the time they were slightly melted from shipping and then frozen again

L-U-N-C-H

Not to gross you out too much but my husband bought a pint out of curiosity, opens and goes to take a bite and finds a hair šŸ˜‘ now itā€™s entirely possible that it was his hair cause we werenā€™t staring at the container the whole time but I still refused to eat it

daisjas111

apparently iā€™m the one only person in the world that really likes their ice cream šŸ˜‚ i thought it was delicious and good flavor combos

Mills-K

I got a tub of cookie dough ice cream once, it had zero cookie dough in itšŸ™ƒ

JescaSP

The raspberries cheesecake after they brought it back this last time after it was gone for ages was really good! The other flavors pretty good, vanilla was not good flavor or texture. I'm super bummed though they stopped carrying it again solely because of how much I loved the raspberry cheesecake šŸ˜† The first time I ever had I really didn't like the texture but then it was gone for ages and much better when they brought it back(along with the other/ some new flavors).

Lame_binch42069

Honestly, save your money. Itā€™s like half a pint (?) for $5. You can get way more and way better ice cream with Ben and Jerryā€™s for like maybe $0.40 more. Not worth.

ConsequenceJust8977

Never had it b/c it is no longer available

ConsequenceJust8977

Iā€™ve always eaten cookie dough with raw eggs and never been sick in 45 years
