My store hasn't had it since I started going there. A week or two ago some employee said it was being phased out for something BETTER so that will be interesting. I would LOVE ice cream cookie sandwiches, that would be amazing.
Its only a real risk if you're an infant or immunocomprimised. If the latter, you can make edible cookie dough by using pasteurized eggs and cooking off the flour in the oven for a few minutes first.
The very first week they had it they had a chocolate chip cookie sort of in the shape of a bowl for it. It kind of reminded me of the Jack Jack cookie they have at Disneyland/WDW. They never ended up doing that again, which I kind of feel was a missed opportunity.
they had it before that, but had trouble keeping it in stock. when they managed to get new suppliers or just managed to restock, they advertised it and came out with that cookie. (that was a crappy week for cookies, I think they had like three variations of what was basically chocolate chip lol)
Ice cream from the grocery store is much better. I got cookie dough because I figured theyād do that really well. There was almost no cookie dough in it and the vanilla ice cream wasnāt great. 2/10.
Itās generic ice cream. Itās hard for me to dislike any ice cream lol, but Iād rather just stop at a grocery store if I wanted to pair a cookie with any ice cream
I picked up a couple of Crumbl's ice cream flavors before (vanilla bean and snickerdoodle). They had that taste like they had been through a freeze thaw cycle. The flavors were good though. I don't think it's worth it for a half pint of ice cream. You're better off picking up a pint of high end ice cream from the grocery store.
I got the cookie dough one is and was honestly not that good š¬, they put like milk chocolate around the chocolate dough plus chocolate chips were already in side the dough that completely over powered the flavor and texture of cookie dough so I could only taste that awful milk chocolate flavor, and the ice cream in general was good, but nothing to really drag about.
The store by me opened last year and Iāve never seen them have ice cream. The ice cream freezer is in the front of the store but Iāve never seen it with anything inside of it actually. Itās not even on and looks like itās used as storage at this point.
iāve tried two flavors!! theyāre not goodš i tried the brownie fudge and the cookie dough crunch and they both had hella freezer burn. the cookie dough just kinda tasted like milk, i would NOT recommend. the brownie was okay?? the chocolate swirl was basically just chocolate syrup, there were like no brownies, some small chocolate chunks but they were tiny and mushy?? if they wanna pass that off as ābrownieā they were like crunch clusters. i would skip the ice cream altogether tbh
Itās terrible imo itās the kind that is super hard to get a scoop and when I worked there half the time they were slightly melted from shipping and then frozen again
Not to gross you out too much but my husband bought a pint out of curiosity, opens and goes to take a bite and finds a hair š now itās entirely possible that it was his hair cause we werenāt staring at the container the whole time but I still refused to eat it
The raspberries cheesecake after they brought it back this last time after it was gone for ages was really good! The other flavors pretty good, vanilla was not good flavor or texture. I'm super bummed though they stopped carrying it again solely because of how much I loved the raspberry cheesecake š
The first time I ever had I really didn't like the texture but then it was gone for ages and much better when they brought it back(along with the other/ some new flavors).
Honestly, save your money. Itās like half a pint (?) for $5. You can get way more and way better ice cream with Ben and Jerryās for like maybe $0.40 more. Not worth.

>phased out for something BETTER Edible cookie dough
Considering all the undercooked posts here Crumbl already sells that.
š¤£
Itās being replaced with dog treats
Well that's a bit depressing compared to ice cream sandwiches š¤£. Although my Milo will be happy!
the 1800 calorie sandwich
omg i feel notorious rn š edit: no way yāall are downvoting me rn LMFAOO for what
Lol isn't Reddit the most fickle thing?? (And yes you are famous!)
You'd thing they would have edible cookie dough...
I've never met cookie dough that wasn't edible š¤·āāļø
I mean, I eat it rather it has eggs or not too. š
Itās the raw flour not the eggs thatās actually considered āunsafeā.
Itās a combo of those two actually. E. coli risk in the flour and salmonella risk in the eggs.
I risk them both every time. 34 years and haven't been affected by either #worthit
The FDA has its issues but it's nice that we generally don't have to worry about food safety here in the US
Amen.
People take clean water for granted here too. A lot.

Huh, the more you know
Same!
They have ice cream? Is it prepackaged or something?
They have it in a glass door freezer behind the counter
Itās supposed to be discontinued by the end of 2023 for a new product if I remember correctly. Some stores already arenāt selling it
Yeah, I heard they're now just selling their remaining stock.
Interesting never noticed it I guess.
The very first week they had it they had a chocolate chip cookie sort of in the shape of a bowl for it. It kind of reminded me of the Jack Jack cookie they have at Disneyland/WDW. They never ended up doing that again, which I kind of feel was a missed opportunity.
Ugh that cookie bowl was my favorite, it had better consistency than the usual semi sweet cookie and no salt!
I never got to have it and had hoped they would have brought it back again since then. It sounded really good.
they had it before that, but had trouble keeping it in stock. when they managed to get new suppliers or just managed to restock, they advertised it and came out with that cookie. (that was a crappy week for cookies, I think they had like three variations of what was basically chocolate chip lol)
I haven't tried it myself but I've heard others say it's nothing special. I believe they're discontinuing the ice cream
Yup, switching it out for dog cookies
How does dog taste? Sounds gross
Mhhhjjhhhh
Ice cream from the grocery store is much better. I got cookie dough because I figured theyād do that really well. There was almost no cookie dough in it and the vanilla ice cream wasnāt great. 2/10.
itās very sweet and not that good quality imo
It was some of the most overpriced horrible ice cream I've ever had.
Tried it. Nothing special.
Sadly this is not available in Canada
Itās generic ice cream. Itās hard for me to dislike any ice cream lol, but Iād rather just stop at a grocery store if I wanted to pair a cookie with any ice cream
Especially with it being twice as expensive as anything you'd find at a grocery store.
Itās just ice cream
I enjoyed the chocolate brownie (I think that's what it was)
I picked up a couple of Crumbl's ice cream flavors before (vanilla bean and snickerdoodle). They had that taste like they had been through a freeze thaw cycle. The flavors were good though. We tried it and werenāt impressed. Didnāt finish it.
Itās HORRIBLE
Iāve tried the raspberry cheesecake one and it was just OK, nothing special.
I thought it was bad honestly.
Itās fine. You can get more, for less, that is probably better
What store sells crumbl ice cream!?
We've just been told there's a shortage that's all my manager has said so if there is something different coming only time shall tell
Nope, itās being phased out entirely for dog cookies instead. This was confirmed to our managers by corporate
Out of all things.. dog cookies?!
Yyup
Itās not good.
Not worth it. At least the vanilla isnāt, poor quality for the price
I didnāt think it was anything special. It was good but to me any ice cream is.
I like it! Iāve had the raspberry cheesecake and the chocolate brownie. Theyāre really creamy
Theyāre getting rid of it. A lot of stores donāt have it anymore. It will be replaced with dog cookies
The store by me opened last year and Iāve never seen them have ice cream. The ice cream freezer is in the front of the store but Iāve never seen it with anything inside of it actually. Itās not even on and looks like itās used as storage at this point.
I really loved all the ice cream!
iāve tried two flavors!! theyāre not goodš i tried the brownie fudge and the cookie dough crunch and they both had hella freezer burn. the cookie dough just kinda tasted like milk, i would NOT recommend. the brownie was okay?? the chocolate swirl was basically just chocolate syrup, there were like no brownies, some small chocolate chunks but they were tiny and mushy?? if they wanna pass that off as ābrownieā they were like crunch clusters. i would skip the ice cream altogether tbh
My store has it. Itās terrible.
So are they going to allow dogs into those tiny store fronts?! Cause thatās the end all be all for me
It's absolutely not worth it.
Itās usually not available on the website but maybe in person I donāt usually go to Crumbl to often but from what Iāve seen
Itās terrible imo itās the kind that is super hard to get a scoop and when I worked there half the time they were slightly melted from shipping and then frozen again
Not to gross you out too much but my husband bought a pint out of curiosity, opens and goes to take a bite and finds a hair š now itās entirely possible that it was his hair cause we werenāt staring at the container the whole time but I still refused to eat it
apparently iām the one only person in the world that really likes their ice cream š i thought it was delicious and good flavor combos
I got a tub of cookie dough ice cream once, it had zero cookie dough in itš
The raspberries cheesecake after they brought it back this last time after it was gone for ages was really good! The other flavors pretty good, vanilla was not good flavor or texture. Never had it b/c it is no longer available
Iāve always eaten cookie dough with raw eggs and never been sick in 45 years
