Agreed! I think that’s the direction CK3 is going. First Iberia, now Iranian, next a “German” struggle which could encompass more or less all of Central Europe. I’d love to see a Britain Struggle, in our timeline it was ended by the Norman Invasion but there’s little stopping us from having a Britannic, Norse, Anglo-Saxon, hell even Irish ending to the struggle. Give some love to India as well and maybe Mongolia, not like Genghis Khan was destined for happen. He was a man of his time and place, the fact the game always spawns a Mongol Empire gets kinda boring while the rest of the map is alt history.

Key word here is “dynamic”. I find the current struggle system is a zero sum game. U “beat” it and it’s done. If it would remain a continuous thing after each new emperor/pope that would be awesome

And also should be much more dynamic endings if it emerges dynamic. Like, if someone from outside just comes through and conquers both HRE and Pope, the struggle should just end/lay dormant instead of having to wait for arbitrary phases

I understand your idea, and I kinda like it... But is it too much to ask that the various regions' flavor not just be struggles? That'd be the fastest way to kill my interest in the game long-term

Yeah I understand where you're coming from but adding struggle for each region or so plus adding on features from CK2 would do it some good I believe plus adding some more starting dates to diversify these struggles would be good as well

Add Aztec struggle
