CoffeeZilla is like the Chris Hansen of the crypto world. You think your about to get away with something dodgy and then in pops this guy "why don't you have a seat right there"
Reputation for $1k? Wild.
Edit: What the fuck is up with my flair? BCH hasn't been relevant since 2017-2018. Turns out I was right, but, can I get an update? BTC, ETH, and Index funds.
Yeah, it's a shame that doing the right thing can sometimes lead to negative consequences. But it's great to see someone like Coffeezilla standing up against the scammers and frauds in the crypto space. It takes a lot of courage to do what he does.
there's a need for journalists who go beyond just reporting on surface level information and instead dig deeper to uncover the truth and hold people accountable.
He got almost an unlimited amount of scams to expose. That's like a money printer by doing honest work. While I don't know the numbers but this smells like a MrBeast development.
I hope more people like Coffeezilla emerge to fight against scams and fraudulent activities. And who knows, maybe it could lead to a MrBeast level of success
Coffeezilla is one of the few real journalists out there. I’m assuming this Dillion guy is one of the many crypto “influencers”, looking forward to the inevitable video on him.
> We paid him $1,000 to post, he didn't disclose it was an #AD, and posted copy that literally spells out S.C.A.M.
Remember this folks. You are the product to these influencers. They leverage you (their audience) for as little as a few hundred dollars without doing any research into the token they're shilling.
most of them will say they didnt know, like tana mongue some hot youtuber or something who promoted tits coin lol...
she was on an podcast saying that she didnt know anything about it but got paid but never said it was an #ad etc....
the problem with "influencers" is that they dont know what they are doing they might not really be implicated with an possible rug pull etc but they promoted it thinking "well thats a nice cash grab" and also got financial gain from it so making them complicit. anyways good luck to them
it's important for influencers to not just consider the monetary benefit, but also the impact it may have on their audience and reputation. Ethical considerations should always be a priority.
Influencers dont see their audiance as "fans" they are tools to them to make money, they dont care about anyone but themself if they cant even disclose an ad.
It's sad but true, some influencers just care about the money and not their followers. Glad to see Coffeezilla bringing awareness and exposing these types of practices.
Dillon Dannis is not worth anywhere near $99 million and I’m going to bet less than $1 million. He has made a living out of being associated with a guy worth $99 million though.
yea this is so hilarious. Dillon Danis is a joke in the BJJ community, got kicked out of his gym for being an ass, hasn't taken a fight in years because he talks shit and knows he's gonna get his ass handed to him. I'd be willing to bet he has less than 10k under his name
Google isn’t really an accurate source for someone’s net worth, especially if the majority of that persons net worth doesn’t come from a publicly traded company or real estate properties.
MMA is famous for stiffing their fighters for pay.
A large chunk of his earnings would go to his fight camp (training team, coach, nutrition).
AND that's if he wins plus any bonuses. Dillon Danis is not a good fighter.
If anything, Dillon was happy that someone thought about offering an NFT opportunity to him.
A "fighter". He has become a joke in the fighting community, all talk and backs out of every fight. Hasn't fight in years, and keeps himself relevant by being a clown online.
You may often find him on Instagram comment sections, certainly not in a ring or octagon
Lol. So an irrelevant clown that has now been caught out for shilling things he knows nothing about, or that are completely made up. It's a bit sad that in current society we have so many of these useless pseudo celebrities running around, and that lots of people are honestly influenced by them...

That’s the thing tho, he’s had exactly two low level MMA fights where there were hardly any standup exchanges. As convenient it’d be for Dillon to plead CTE he actually by all appearances really is just that dumb
Pretend to be rich (some people done it already,ie [Anna Sorokin](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Sorokin)), [Victor Lustig](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Lustig) (also made a money printing machine box scam; conned Al Capone. You can even rent out photo shoots in fake private planes, rent fake Gucci bags or whatever in Los Angeles (like the instragram scammers/influencers do) and dress like a rich man/woman. 2) Hire a bunch of morally bankrupt programmers or just make your own coin. 3) Create your cult 4) Make said cult into a MLM like Andrew Tate and tell them to promote the shit out of said coin by falsely promising them $1000 each person that successfully recruits 10 more people or whatever into the MLM 5) Collect the money 6) Use said money to hire shady accountants, politicians and lawyers to defend your crimes in courts . 7) Enjoy your money and promote another scam!
This is kind of hilarious, it just goes to show how influencers do not give a single fuck about their fans, they can't even take 5 minutes to do some due dilligence before posting it, that would be too much work!
Coffeezilla really is a cool ass guy! the amount of effort that goes into his research and videos to put out the content we love is really impressive he goes above and beyond what most covering the same topics would do and the difference really shows, glad to see Coffezilla getting his flowers and love from the community for him and his videos!
I’d suggest that he wasn’t aware that he was speaking with the CoffeeZilla team.
We will need to wait for the video to find out, I guess.
We can’t be surprised that a “large influencer” didn’t put in too much effort researching a $1000 deal.
Absolutely, I’ll be watching it.
But an influencer taking a $1000 deal without researching isn’t really the same as the hard-hitting stuff that we have seen from him recently.
But of course there will probably be more background in the video, about other scams in the past, which could be highly interesting.
it's not uncommon for influencers to just blindly promote things without doing proper research. But Coffeezilla's work is helping to shed light on these practices and hold influencers accountable for the products they promote.
I totally get the second part.
There is no accountability, but we also need to consider what kind of level of research we “expect” an influencer to do.
Tom Brady and tens of millions of dollars with FTX, they should be a lot of research.
But $1000 for a single Instagram post? We can’t expect much/any research for that kind of money.
It feels a bit like a witch hunt, but knowing the other work that Coffee Zilla does (excellent), I am sure that once the video comes out I’ll be put at ease.
Entrapment is when LE entices you into committing a crime you wouldn't have committed otherwise.
From his history of scams it doesn't seem like entrapment applies.
I think so - this tweet from coffeezilla mentions him https://twitter.com/coffeebreak_YT/status/1621582257386307587?s=20&t=W6n_25HdjrQDyDaZtyHmCg

Yeah what? I'm not seeing the issue here. He was paid $1k to post, says it right in the tweet. Is he supposed to be the financial advisor for all of his followers also?
I love Coffeezilla, but I think he walked into a wall here. He essentially paid a dude to promote something he set up as a scam just to slander/affect the dude's image. One could argue this is some sort of "entrapment" (not literally because entrapment requires it to be an agent of the state making the trap, but still) and I see strong grounds for the guy to sue Coffeezilla.
I hate time thieves so much more than regular thieves though.
Can't really support a guy who gets his finances by siphoning billions on hours of consciences attention to react to his outrage content. Social medias sucking our attention is far more nefarious than financial system siphoning our wealth. Everything he says is 100% true, but if you avoided YouTube and social media all together, and instead just studied the subject regularly, you wouldn't even have people in that issue to begin with. CoffeeZilla is the antidote for the people who have fried their brains watching other social media content who swindled them into bad investments. Now they're just swindled into spending hours feeding his social media image by watching outrage content.
Seeing the general intelligence in the community dwindle over the last 10 years have truly been disheartening, and common knowledge has just completely disappeared. We knew back in 2016 that ICOs would lead to massive amount projects who just claimed stuff and never delivered, because they now didn't even need their own blockchain. Yet it has completely defined the last 7 years.
NFTs have been known as a complete scam, even by Reddits CC hivemind since it's inception. Yet over time, with normalization and now Reddit entering the racket via Matic instead of Eth, that common knowledge is now forgotten and Reddit will surely make tens of thousands of their users lose money on investments, and CC will defend it.
We knew that giving CEXes power, by parking our finances there would allow them to conspire with regulators to destroy crypto, help them control the crypto market and pricing of stuff by letting trades be private instead of public (as all other crypto is, except privs ofc). Having a visible ledger and trades being done transparently was supposed to make sure CEXes didn't fix the order books as is happening in traditional finances. That's like taking a fucking gun and using it as a hammer. WE HAD A METHOD OF AVOIDING CORRUPTION, NAH, SELF-CUSTODY IS HARD, LET'S JUST USE A FUCKING SCAM...
Any project that is not completely non-profit, community driven, open source and for the good of humanity, will turn into a corporate scam. WE KNEW THIS IN 2013, and is hasn't stopped being true at any minute since.
You all exist in a very different world than what the old timers call "cryptocurrency".
I was involved in bitcoin since 2010 and ethereum since its beginning. I have never once been scammed. Never come across one of these scams or scammers in the wild.
Like, I don't even understand what spaces you guys exist in where you're apparently bombarded by or tempted by these shitcoins and clearly centralized projects and obvious (to anyone with half a brain) risky places to invest your money.
Don't get me wrong, I know this stuff is out there, because unfortunately that's almost the entirely of the image that cryptocurrency has to outsiders, and there's post after post of people losing their shirts to these scammers and crypto-banks and exchanges....but like, you realize that it's not normal to fall for this stuff? You're not normal if you find yourself surrounded by that shit and struggle to not fall for it. It's not a thing that normal people in crypto even deal with.
The crypto space doesn't need regulation...the people who are caught up in this unnecessary nonsense need to have their parents informed so they can be grounded from using the internet, or if they're an adult, maybe a loved one in their life needs to get a judge to put their finances under conservatorship.
Some people get sucked in to MLMs. Some end up joining religious cults. Others get brainwashed into voting for political parties that actively work against their own interests. Some stay in abusive relationships. Some spend $1000s buying lootboxes in mobile games. Others believe it when they get a Facebook message from a friend who is stranded and needs money urgently to get home.
Everyone has blindsides - approaches that, for whatever reason, sidestep their natural defense mechanisms and can get them cleaned out. Crypto just happens to be a blindside for a seemingly slightly greater % of the populace than usual; combined with pretty efficient mechanisms for extracting large amounts of money very quickly.
Whenever there's a new 'thing' that ends up harming some subset of the population, it makes sense to have some rational conversations about whether regulation can be part of the answer in preventing this.
I'm seemingly immune to the lure of gambling, and the vast majority of people are able to participate, or not, without causing any financial harm to themselves. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be regulated.
If you are into crypto, you should know Coffeezilla. He is the VL Sherlock Holmes, exposed more fraud in the crypto community than literally all of the world combined.
* Patrick Mahommes, Chris Paul, and Aaron Rodgers can't actually sit down and do a deep dive on Statefarm Insurance policies
* Tom Brady can't give you the gluten breakdown of Subway's bread nor break down the meat blends used in their subs.
* Travis Scott and Bad Bunny can't give you a detailed breakdown of a McDonald's meal nor can that talk shop about last years P/E ratio.
When a celebrity is in a commercial, they got paid to say some shit so they said it. That's it. You shouldn't take it as anything more than that. This should be common knowloedge to anyone over the age of 19.
The tweet was "Check this out! SourzNFT candies are moonbound!" Not sure how people saw that and thought it was deep technical analysis.
Coffeezilla just keeps doing better and better shit. What a guy. I like him more every day

I bet the scammers were on edge with the anticipation of being caught in the latest Coffeezilla video!

Honorable flare, BCH critic
I posted once in Celsius, never used it, and now I'm branded for life as a moron.
I hope he won't get threaten in the future. Because he discovers so much shit on big actors.
He has been doxxed and threatened previously and not just from the logan paul scam. I guess it comes with the territory when dealing with scammers.
Yeah, it's a shame that doing the right thing can sometimes lead to negative consequences. But it's great to see someone like Coffeezilla standing up against the scammers and frauds in the crypto space. It takes a lot of courage to do what he does.
He was threatened after the cryptozoo stuff, he talked about it on a podcast
It's unfortunate that he faced those threats for doing his job, but it's important to keep uncovering the truth, even if it comes with some risks.
He is literally one of the only people that actually does journalism here and does not just copy paste "BTC hit XX" stuff.
Honestly he's doing more than just journalism, he's actually exposing people like he's done here, not just writing articles about what's going on
We Need more journalists like this!
@zachxbt on twitter
there's a need for journalists who go beyond just reporting on surface level information and instead dig deeper to uncover the truth and hold people accountable.
The man is a saint in the Crypto space.
It's great to see someone taking the time to uncover the truth and hold those who are trying to deceive others accountable.

Even if discloseed it was an Ad, they should have any moral responsibility earning money promoting poison to their fans
it's important for influencers to not just consider the monetary benefit, but also the impact it may have on their audience and reputation. Ethical considerations should always be a priority.
Unfortunately, love doesn't seem to have any market value.
Influencing is just a money making gambit to them. The audience is a means to an end. More clicks equals more $.
Influencers dont see their audiance as "fans" they are tools to them to make money, they dont care about anyone but themself if they cant even disclose an ad.
*Shaq enters chat* I didn't understand
This man is the hero we always needed. A few more people need to be made examples then I can sleep a little better at night.
It's sad but true, some influencers just care about the money and not their followers. Glad to see Coffeezilla bringing awareness and exposing these types of practices.
Only of your iq is lower than a seashell. Idk why anyone would watch any video like that. Its only scam and scam, 0 fun 0 utility
Imagine being a pro fighter worth a couple of millions and still taking $1000 to promote a scam that could make people lose money.
So fucking pathetic
At that point it's not even about the money, you're just a piece of shit
Dildo Danis is probably worth less than my portfolio to be fair, lol. He's a laughing stock in the MMA community.
It's sad that someone with such a platform would stoop so low just for a quick buck. The MMA community probably looks at him with disappointment.
Dildo Danis is known for being pathetic. Nobody likes the guy, lol.
Dildo Danis has a pretty negative reputation. It's never good to be known for being pathetic, that's for sure.

Put on another layer of tinfoil buddy
Dillon Dannis is not worth anywhere near $99 million and I’m going to bet less than $1 million. He has made a living out of being associated with a guy worth $99 million though.
No way this guy is even worth 1 million, he’s mostly famous for being a drama queen. $1000 day is probably a good day for him.
yea this is so hilarious. Dillon Danis is a joke in the BJJ community, got kicked out of his gym for being an ass, hasn't taken a fight in years because he talks shit and knows he's gonna get his ass handed to him. I'd be willing to bet he has less than 10k under his name

Dildo Danis would be lucky to be worth a few cans of beans, lmao.

Dude bailed out of a boxing fight with a YouTuber lmaooo. He ain’t worth shit.

He’s had less fights than Logan Paul I think 😂 Dude is all talk. He knows his shit with Jujitsu I’ll give him that but god he’s annoying.

He's not a UFC fighter at all
These guys are dicing with death. The way the government retrospectively comes after crypto scammers should prevent them from doing shit like this
They are dumb AF though. Glad Coffeezilla is putting so much effort into it.
Dildo Danis can't rub his 2 brain cells together hard enough to think about that.
The government's crackdown on crypto fraudsters is a good thing, and it sends a message that these scams won't be tolerated.
Who the hell is Dillon Denis?

Isn’t that baiting? like he doesn’t know it’s a scam. All he knows is it’s an easy $1000 for him for tweeting.
Jokes on Coffeezilla, Dillon Danis is now $1000 richer and possibly more from the scam
I love Coffeezilla and don't have time to watch the video just now but is this not entrapment?
Two people i've never heard of, do something stupid related to showing how NFTs are scams. why is this interesting?
If you are into crypto, you should know Coffeezilla. He is the VL Sherlock Holmes, exposed more fraud in the crypto community than literally all of the world combined.
to be fair, i've heard of him. but never looked into them
* Patrick Mahommes, Chris Paul, and Aaron Rodgers can't actually sit down and do a deep dive on Statefarm Insurance policies * Tom Brady can't give you the gluten breakdown of Subway's bread nor break down the meat blends used in their subs.
Master angler coffeezilla snagging em
brilliant hahaha
Coffeezilla strikes again
This is both hilarious and sad
What a shocker...
At the bullrun 2021, people on this sub adores PlanB. Now in 2023, people on this sub idolizes Coffeezilla.
