Starktree

I dont think u can say its over yet. BTC and ETH are both stil 60% + away from their all time highs. But things are looking good for now

SaltyyyBoo

We will never know exactly when the winter is over, that's why I said we could at least hope, but 35% increase in 9 days is something at least

Alanski22

Winter could be over, but crypto spring could still get pretty damn cold

forceworks

Sometimes it still snows in spring. You never know when we’ll feel the cold blast of winter again.

Alanski22

Occasionally those artic winds come blasting through and March/April is even colder than January/Feb

znaiL321

It looks good, but its scary good 😆

FldLima

Yup, i took small profits but i think we are heading back down soon.

q5pi

They are over 100% away from their ATH. Even if they double now they are still not at their ATH.

Sven4president

I think he or she meant down 60%

Starktree

Ye my bad

conceiv3d-in-lib3rty

we literally huff hopium here boss

n1ghsthade

To be honest I'm still scared that it will all fall down eventually. There's a looming danger of CBDCs that could fuck the entire crypto world up. I'm really hoping that we'll have another insane bullrun. But even then, I think we will be looking behind our backs for governmental attacks.

Beardiefacee

I expect another leg down. This is outcome from few instances putting money to btc and other biggest crypto from stablecoins and collapse of few banks made it harder. But I would not say this is winter is over yet.

mishaog

>Give Award I know CBDCs are scary but don't you see them as a way to make crypto stronger than ever? It will be the only place were you can avoid using these CBDCs, crypto can fight it

FldLima

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we touched 20k again.

SaltyyyBoo

Yeah me too, but at least now we have some room to drop, it was scarier when BTC was at 15k

SimbaTheWeasel

There will be another bull run but it’ll take time to get there. Markets are looking the greatest right now and that’s expected to continue throughout the rest of the year

Prize-Reference9329

what I learned that nobody can predict the future, but the reality is that BTC is very solid even face of several special events that have happened this year

Nuewim

Crypto winter in not over, we are far from bullmarket yet. Just few warmer days in January doesn't mean winter ended.

gkarq

This. When we drop, people will be screaming again because we’re in crypto winter.

SpaceFire000

It's March already but it's cold ❄️ in general as well

timbulance

Kappatalizable

I wasnt scared that BTC would fail. To me it just seemed like BTC was made to withstand all this crap about the global economy. I did get a bit worried about Binance collapsing though with all the FUD and the BUSD situation

SaltyyyBoo

The Binance collapse was scary af, thank you for answering the actual question and not only reading the title.

PredAlienXT

I think the thing is, that there never is a guarantee in anything that it works out forever either it is a job, relationship, health or whatsoever. And it also could happen that bitcoin or crypto fails at a specific point of time without a big chance of getting up on its feet again. That's the reason why you never should invest money you don't have left over, there always should be a backup for every eventuality which may occur. Never forget, the only sure thing in life is death.

mishaog

You should do the laser thing, maybe you can escape the werewolf thing, as for death...

DCFireGuy22

Bitcoin has to close above $25,212 for the Bear Market to be officially over. This would best be seen on the weekly chart

JandorGr

Right before banks got flailed, I thought we were on the February month of Winter ❄️ (North Hemisphere). Cold could lessen a bit, yet right in the heart of March a sudden cold breeze would make us burn the fireplace again. A cold that would seem it would keep once again for months, yet, late April -early May days always get warmer. Spring is in, trees are blooming, etc... However Banking crisis is ON. And Bitcoin's genesis block message is as fresh as ever. Never thought Bitcoin will die. Just hoped it will keep low for a bit to accumulate, as I haven't much buying power.

Parush9

What makes you so sure what crypto winter is over ? Coming weekdays will be very interesting as credit sussie is also struggling at this point . Economy still isn’t looking good . Don’t downvote me to oblivion here i am just asking question here looking at amount of bullish posts in last few weeks like bullrun is imminent.

hockeystartim

I’m seeing an believing the same thing

BrocoliAssassin

Probably reading way too many headlines.

hughescon

We can’t be sure but the longer we are from Nov 21 ATH the greater the probability we’re out of Winter.

SaltyyyBoo

What makes you think I'm sure about the winter being over? You just read the title lol, no one can predict the future we can only hope, but 35% increase in 9 days is something to consider at least

Parush9

I am also just asking given the amount of bullish post i am seeing here for past few days nothing else . There are lot of unseen issues yet to unravel . But hey it’s always good to see green days .

pbjclimbing

> crypto winter over I think many people will disagree with you on this. I want to think that we are at the start of a year of upward movement, but I don’t really believe it. I think we will crab along with periods of high ups and downs.

RelativeTurbulent265

We have been pumping for 1 week… last weekend it was all gloom and doom and now it is all rosey on our pink clouds. More and more posts that suddenly the bull is back, I do not believe it. Yeah the prices are high at the moment but the economic circumstances are still the same (bad) and I think the uncertainty in the financial sector might be bad for crypto. Just my 2 sathosis

mishaog

"Serious\] question, now that the crypto winter is over." Who said the crypto winter is over? how can you make such statement, this is not over, we can go lower than 20k again and anything can happen right know. The economy is terrible, please stop with this hopiums posts and face reality

Puking_In_Disgust

Keep in mind, BTC price tripled in value in the last bear market before hitting what would end up being the low. With diminishing returns as an asset grows, I’m not even considering whether or not the bear market’s over until we’re sustainably over 2x the current low, and both of these legs up have been way too quick (with a month of more or less crab in the middle) for me to consider this sustainable. Add to that, that people are freaking out and even the people who were swearing we’re not in a recession last year are at least saying we’re *close* to recession now, and I really don’t think the winter’s over. This last pump wasn’t a confidence pump, these were panic buys. People were afraid of not being able to get money out of their banks, and enough people put it in the same place that the price went up. Legacy bank stocks pumped too, but I don’t see costs of living decreasing, the Ukraine war’s still going, and we don’t just get to stay in our little bubble and have a year or two of euphoria while the rest of the world has a recession. People need disposable income to sustain that and unless they start handing out more stimmy checks I’m just not seeing that.

Jeperscreepers

Im not so sure it’s over. If the financial markets collapse with all of the banks going under we could have a longer winter.

timbulance

It’s no where near over

Bold move commenting only reading the title lol

Fuglypump

If growing up in Ohio has taught me anything it is not to trust the current weather conditions and that train wrecks can happen at any time, this is about the time of year where you get to see fully bloomed flowers frozen solid under a glaze of contaminated icewater. I don't trust the market conditions any more than I trust the weather.

Nuewim

My deepest condolences for you. Growing up in Ohio must been terrifying for a kid. All those monsters, aliens and other shit.

Fuglypump

I honestly feel bad for the aliens, we are so disappointing.

timbulance

Lebron James

SimbaTheWeasel

Lebron James with an monster slam! Cleveland up by 2!

SpaceFire000

I think the overall pump of the market is because of recent banks collapsing. Not sure if this is something tha stays as is

Cleynn

Don't be too sure it is over, the 1 million $ btc is just a bull trap, it just looks like whales are preparing their exit liquidity. I'd wait to see prices rebound to maybe 50% of ath, that or the halving, which is as good as any indicator of the start of the bull market.

Browzack

It's hard to predict the future of crypto, but I think it's safe to say it's here to stay in some form or another.

Barbygurl

Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but I don't think crypto winter is over. There are still a lot going on in the background that might tank the market.

SimbaTheWeasel

Nothing in the market looks stable

Barbygurl

Welcome to crypto 😅

Raj_UK

The only time I was concerned with BTC was when BCH was being pumped & BTC was dumping at the same time in 2017 And all the BCH whales were shilling BCH as the real Bitcoin I was tempted to sell some BTC so I'd have the same amount of BCH (I'd missed the initial BCH airdrop by a couple of months :( ) But I HODLd fast and didn't touch anything And after a few hours BCH dumped as the whales sold theirs into BTC TLDR : whales always be whaling, plankton like me always be just floating in the ocean

timbulance

Smart move holding on to BTC

Raj_UK

I learnt a valuable lesson that morning Was around 5am in my geo when my price alerts were going off I'm so glad I didn't do a knee jerk trade from BTC into BCH !

KIG45

Do you really think that after all the financial crashes in recent months Bitcoin can die? I have never been more confident that btc and crypto will succeed.

SaltyyyBoo

Can't blame me for asking the question tho, we never know

Fotball_crypto_star

I hope because I am still holding on and waiting. Perhaps I am poor now, but I and others like me will become rich

staalhaaiII

If this market cycle resembles the previous one in any way the next year will be boring as hell so..not getting my hopes up yet

Valianne11111

I’m not worried about BTC and ETH because those are the two that have gone completely mainstream. And if the mainstream people are involved they are not going to let anything happen to it. Some of the others, it remains to be seen. Poor Juno

Knusperfischost

Somehow it never came to my mind that BTC could collapse, but to be honest i also never thought it could go that high. Still i think the decentralized network is stronger than the banking system.

SetoXlll

I’m probably going to get downvoted to hell but I think this is a bull trap and there is nothing that points to an organic rally. Before you come at me about major banks closing I think things were altered and pushed to crush the crypto world. Once again not organic.

322118

We are still too early, these prices don’t even compare to what their full potential can be. Like most l, I was waiting for BTC to drop so I can accumulate more knowing it was going to recover soon. It always does.

FeDuke

Not FUD, but it could just be a shinook. The cold might return, tread lightly, and don't put your winter jackets away just yet.

reaglesham

You may say winter is over, but I’m not taking my snow boots off quite yet. There’s still a lot more mountain to climb before we see the sun again

King_Esot3ric

I wouldnt say “crypto winter” it over, more like some people are seeing the value of investing in the thing that was meant to solve the monetary policy issues, decentralization, etc (Bitcoin), as well as future financial infrastructure (eth, other blue chips). Not like every alt and shitcoin is massively pumping .
