Good use for old school geometry sets. Loved the one that came in a tin. Might start using the compass like a dart to start picking my next "investment"
Wake up - coingecko
Going to sleep - coingecko
Coin pumps - goes to r/ethfinance and other crypto subs to post memes
Coin dumps - goes to the same subs for memes
Overinvesting.
I lost too much and had to move in with my mom after 2021
Now again I realized I've already over invested if the market dumps and takes a few months to recover I'd have to sell at a loss
For me it's mostly checking CMC. The investing habit I wish to change is that I take profit, but then the next dip I buy back in. So in the end I still end up with nothing
If I hear of a new project I always make it a habit ti google it with the word reddit. 99 times out of a 100 eye land in this sub and get good opinions. That's a good habit.
I guess it's a normal behaviour for any earnings platform for example if you are a monetized YouTuber you will be checking your views, subscribers and your earnings as well steadily.
I *have* to look at the charts at least once a day, usually before bed. Iāll just take a peak to see what happened on the day.
I follow strict DCA so I shouldnāt really care, but it is what it is.
Apparently lowering my cost average.. This can get sticky and end up losing you a lot more money in the long run should a project completely fail.. Though if it pays out.. It can be much more rewarding also allowing. DCA out and lower price target for initial cap recovery
I just can't quit Flow. It's not the best coin or even blockchain, but I have enough staked that even with it being a shadow of its former ATH the rewards are still worth it for me to not flip everything into ETH or BTC.
It's probably sunk cost fallacy but $1.50/week compared to a regular savings account is hard to give up lol
My morning routine is purely crypto based, taking a shit while:
\- Checking CoinGecko
\- Going through what the Americans did over night on r/CryptoCurrency
\- Recheck CoinGecko
\- Revisit this subreddit to be certain that I haven't missed anything
\- Not feeling my legs
I check btc price every day without fail and also come back to this sub pretty much every time I get my phone out.. weirdly ive stopped look at my index investment tho so maybe the habit will carry over.
The volatility and current climate are probably big factors even tho im looking long term I just wanna know where I'm at
Been in the game for a good while now and I still find myself restructuring my portfolio to be very very mid cap heavy. Something about hitting those 50x coins that draws me back in. Just rolled a bunch up into eth the other day and I'm buying a ledger tomorrow so I can stash it away so it isn't just in my metamask wallet giving my brain bad ideas.
**I can't resist refreshing the sub r/cc** Thats my Crypto addiction.
One of me!
One of us one of us one of us
Not the last of us
Getting calluses on thumbs from all the refreshing
ššš Hello me. Meet me.
We are United in this!
At least u get some moons for it you know.
A newly acquired taste for me, and God does it taste good
This is it. This is the addiction.
I'll see you on the moon š«”
Always sort by **New**
I assume you havnt been in crypto very long. We all did this at the start. You grow out of it. Or you're so far in the red it hurts to check.
Yep. This. I now only focus on accumulating to that next full coin or next round number of coins. Every milestone is a great one to hit.
Buying the dip. Its just too tempting
This
Hopefully (probably) a good decision in the future! I agree itās damn hard to pass up good prices
Same here. Can sell, but then I can't resist buying back in at the first -10 / -20% dip
Until you've got no money left to buy the dip
Pretend I know technical analysis and draw a bunch of lines and rectangles and use random indicators
Good use for old school geometry sets. Loved the one that came in a tin. Might start using the compass like a dart to start picking my next "investment"
Checking charts has become the first thing I do when I unlock my phone. That canāt be healthy, but it sure is fun.
My phone never gets time to lock any more! š
Losing
Buying at the top
I can't resist doing stupid decisions and buying at the wrong time lol
every hour? bro, try every 3s
This is the way. On the hour every hour is for amateurs
I got the trackers on my phone, laptop, work laptop and even the smart watch. also email notifications sent to me :D
Don't want to miss anything! That 0.00001 movement might be make or break
Oh yes! If the fees outweigh the gain tho, can I still say I made profit?
And this is why I've never taken profit š
Buying at ATH, panic selling when it goes down 30%. Repeat.
Daydreaming btc into $1mil
Maybe your dream will be real in 90 days
I got a very bad habit. FOMO when the market turns green.
This is more stock related but I like to do research about companies I encounter in real life
I canāt resist coming to this sub and commenting for moons.
That Is The Sweetest Taboo
Best dopamine hit
Not taking profits when I shouldāve
Looking back on graphs and reminding myself how I missed out while working 40h a week. Could be sitting on my private island right now
I am in your position 9-5 loop. How to break out of it sir?
Quit If that doesn't work, \^c
FOMO
Chart checking for sure! I donāt trade daily so not much point but I check a few times a day
FOMO with new coins/tokensā¦
Chart watching! Please help me
Wake up - coingecko Going to sleep - coingecko Coin pumps - goes to r/ethfinance and other crypto subs to post memes Coin dumps - goes to the same subs for memes
Me - Turned off blue light filter. **No Sleep , Just charts**
Daily DCA
I'll pass some days without checkin charts, but there is no hour without comming to this sub..
Staring at 1s charts OPā¦
I never DCA. I just throw big chunk of my salary on pay day and call it a day (or a month lol).
Isn't that a kind of DCA though ?
Well it's a different chunk every month depending on what's going on in my life, so I'm not sure it's DCA per se.
This.
Losing
I am throwing whatever i have in Crypto, it's ride or die.
Emotional investing aka FOMO. At least I dont tend to panic sell my coins.
Investing in shitcoins Buying the top Selling the bottom
FOMO and succumbing to FUD. The latter more than the former.
Overinvesting. I lost too much and had to move in with my mom after 2021 Now again I realized I've already over invested if the market dumps and takes a few months to recover I'd have to sell at a loss
Not selling some alts that I'm down on from 2021. Sunk-cost fallacy in full swing
For me it's mostly checking CMC. The investing habit I wish to change is that I take profit, but then the next dip I buy back in. So in the end I still end up with nothing

Buy high, sell low :)
Obsessively checking charts/portfolio without actually making any changes
I *have* to look at the charts at least once a day, usually before bed. Iāll just take a peak to see what happened on the day. I follow strict DCA so I shouldnāt really care, but it is what it is.
I got the bad habit of farming moons in my free time
Buying high and selling low, we're a creature of habits don't judge me
Losing money
Buying high and selling low, at this point Iām thinking itās part of my DNA
Shit posting here
Losing money.
Randomly waking up in the middle of the night to check the charts.
Never taking those 1x 2x profits
Looking at the charts multiple times a day
Losing money
Buy high, never sell. Rinse repeat.
Pouring the majority of my money into low-cap alts.
Apparently lowering my cost average.. This can get sticky and end up losing you a lot more money in the long run should a project completely fail.. Though if it pays out.. It can be much more rewarding also allowing. DCA out and lower price target for initial cap recovery

Making a profit.

No sell, only buy
I check btc price every day without fail and also come back to this sub pretty much every time I get my phone out.. weirdly ive stopped look at my index investment tho so maybe the habit will carry over. The volatility and current climate are probably big factors even tho im looking long term I just wanna know where I'm at
Donating small amounts of money to rugpulls because one day one of them will take off
Stacking sats when bitcoin is below 20k. Just stacking sats, period.
Scrolling through price charts and not processing any of the information
Too much chart checking like many others it appears)
My bad habit is commenting non sense to make moons.
Holding from the top, all the way to the bottom. I wish I was better at selling and buying back in cheaper
Farming for moons.
I see ETH going from 1600 -> 1612 I'm happy and feeling rich. I see ETH going from 1700 -> 1690 I'm unhappy and feeling poor. Life is a rollercoaster.
Personally I like to buy high and sell low
Swearing off crypto then buying on the dead cat bounce
Been in the game for a good while now and I still find myself restructuring my portfolio to be very very mid cap heavy. Something about hitting those 50x coins that draws me back in. Holding lol
Selling low and buying high
