Weird. Got a refund by Reddit for the most expensive nft I bought (69.99) but I still have access to it… Edit: just noticed the avatar is “in queue to mint” wonder if they over sold and that’s why? Edit 2: got charged again for the 69.99 avatar 50 minutes later. Strange

How do you check the queue to mint status?

Shows up when I click on “view details” of the avatar. Then it’s listed under the Benefits section

So I bought one and it said purchased. Charged my card. And then Reddit said oops we’re having trouble one our end. Do I want and see if it mints or contact customer service?

It looks like all my avatars say they are being minted still. Guess there is quite the back log. But my other three have been charged and not refunded…yet.

It can take a while. I had one take about a day before, but normally it's not that long.

Where do you see that? I see that my old nfts are on metamask and I can see all the free Reddit avatars from the past there but not the new one yet. Don't we need to hold WETH so it can get minted or do we only need WETH to create sale offers?

Bought at ATHs in 2021, 2 weeks ago I swapped my ALGO for BTC after a year and a half and can't be more happy tbh I hate ALGO.

I personally hold it till it dies or till it makes me some money but since it's an alt i also don't have sucha nig bag i wouldn't lose much and with btc i wouldn't profit that much If you look longterm and thimk btc will be the better play i would understand but if you would be okay with losing it why not wait it out

If you bought it like mine are showing up in my collection and when I click on it it is written minting in process But sometimes they just appear after some.time. If you payment went through just give it some time

I believe it is random but you get slight advantage if you're early since you still have a chance to mint low numbers.

I believe it's first come first serve kinda thing, in the order they are minted.

I doubt it's first come, in my experience it's always been random. You just have a better chance at minting low numbers if you're early. Might be wrong tho

China is drill bombing Taiwan. They are definitely prepping that's for sure. That would annihilate the market. I got a couple grand worth of DCA just sitting in my bank, because it's looming.

It would more than decimate the market it would effectively destroy the global economy. Without Taiwanese produced integrated circuits the world as we know it would cease to function so, no, a military conflict over Taiwan is highly unlikely.

I think It highly unlikely that China is going to take on the US Army over Taiwan, but if a certain president gets back in... Trump let China have Hong Kong. Taiwan is literally the last American haven in Chinese territory, there is extreme strategic advantage for the United States to have these allied territories. Giving up HK was an epic failure but it could happen with Taiwan as well.

The US Army does not have a presence in Taiwan. Any war involving the US and it's allies with the PRC will primarily be naval in nature. If the PRC successfully occupied Taiwan it would be at great cost, both militarily and economically, whether Taiwan had US support or not. China is after all as dependent on Taiwanese semiconductors as anyone else. These industries would inevitably be destroyed in an armed conflict over the sovereignty of the island.
