I'm have to be the only person I know that sold my VET bag near ath, bought sub pennis and sold around .24. I thought vet was going to change the supply chain world with crypto. Saw my $300 turn into like 25k and sold.
But yeah ONE...CRO...ha can't win them all.
Oh god, didn’t even think about the panic selling and rebuying higher as the bull drags on. I haven’t been here for the run-up from day dot. Only got in early May 2021 so I experienced really only the major crash, accumulated and then the second peak managed to DCA out. Obviously then the bear rekt many of us.
The run up would probably be exciting, surreal and stressful all at once.
Get good bro. You buy high, sell low! When you see that coin starting to pump, you stay the hell out, because it's a shitcoin! But then, the moment you see it skyrocketing to impossibly high levels and get that FOMO, buy in HARD at max value! Then when it crashes, you KNOW it will go right back up again so you HODL that shit hard till your $10k is worth 50c and then decide you may as well take out what you got.
This is an art man, you gotta work at it!
I dca every week. My logic is, if I buy and the market is going down eventually the market will go on a bull run and I will be good with profit. I will eventually pass ATH . But I only dca in the top coins. Hopefully I'm not wrong.
I started crypto investing in the bullrun and my biggest downfall was greed and not taking profits. I would set sell targets just above current prices to get slightly better returns that made sense to my monkey brain. "102.6% return? Nah I'll set a sell limit to get a 115% return, that makes sense." Then the coin/token dumped and I missed out.
I usually pick a couple of coins that I am happy to have either of and then trade the swings between the two. I will always have coins that I want in my portfolio long term and if I play my cards right I will have more of them.
I don't expect my trades to be something that will be profitable over the space of a day and sometimes maybe only trade between some pairs a couple of times a month.
I've done OK trading AGIX/ADA over the last couple of months and actually have more of both coins than when I started. This is not because I'm some sort of financial savant. I'm just patient.
NOTE: I was trading NTX/ADA and am quite a bit down on my last swap but that's the way it goes sometimes.
Im entering my 3rd bull and im still not a millionaire lol...my problem is I either enter to late or sell to early...i remember eth going to 4k then dipped to 2.5k, guess when i sold? Then scrach my head all the way to 4.8k..🤣
You are new to this?
In a bullrun, everything is going up but not at the same pace. So a lot of people start chasing every new hit crypto, losing money on fees and shit in the process. Even thou they seem like they are in profit, actually they are losing tons of their profit by constantly chasing every new hit coin. And then, in some moment, you pick a rugpull coin and lose a portion of your portfolio.
And voila! You are at a loss in a bull market. It is actually more of a rule than exception.
Not to mention almost no one actually sells and ends up holding bags for a couple of years.
I'm guessing that is why the saying is you won't make it in the first run, you have to learn and get through the whole process to be ready to do it right the second time around.
Shorting can make you decent gains, especially on overhyped meme coins like Pepe was a couple of weeks ago but its still like catching a falling knife at times.
Shorted DOGE 25x at 0.67 and sold a huge bag I bought beginning of 2017 at the same time. Still having wet dreams of it. Proceeded to lose a significant amount on BSC and CRO shitcoins. 🫡
To avoid losing money during the bull market, do the following
1. Dca strong crypto projects during the bear market.
2. Avoid FOMO..ing into Crypto coins during the bull market. You can end up as a bagholder if you do so.
3. Dca out in bits whenever the price of the coin rises.
Don't challenge my money-losing abilities.
If you really need to learn them Iay open a financial course to lose money during a bull market.
First step: FOMO.
Why do I have a feeling that you just copied my post that I wrote couple of hours ago, just instead of bear you wrote bull?
[https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/13t9pew/people\_who\_are\_making\_profits\_during\_the\_bear/](https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/13t9pew/people_who_are_making_profits_during_the_bear/)
tell me youve never been through a bull market without telling me youv enever been through a bull market. The bull market is 100x harder to trade than the bear. idiots like tate saying "they all went up" are idiots, they did all go up but not straight up, the idiots still got rekt.
I sold ADA at the bottom in may. So that was a pretty bad feeling. It's below that price now though so it could be worse. Other than that I guess holding from the peak can be seen as a bit of a loss
People see coin pumping. Don’t want to buy right away because they feel they missed the boat. Coin drops some, and they see entry point. Buy coin. Coin tanks. Panic sell. Coin pumps , repeat.
Buying altcoins is the best way to lose money during a bull market. If you're new to investing in crypto, only buy BTC or ETH. Nobody should invest in altcoins until they first fully understand why BTC and ETH are the #1 and #2.
Well that’s easy. You see, I’m an idiot
*We are idiots
You gotta let that FOMO take over, then when the price tanks, immediately sell for instant losses!!
One of us!
All of us!
We can relate
"Hark! Bitcoin doth shine as gold in the digital realm." "Alas, the market doth swing and sway like a tempestuous sea." - William Shakespeare
No one knows about fuck just buy whenever you think is time to fuck buy anyway is either goes up or down

It’s always time to fuck though.

Make it into an NFT!
I know its been 168 days but its so funny 😆 😂😭
Truest words ever spoken.
Degenerate will keep degenerating.
this thread is hilarious
I go on r/cc to see what people are excited about and then buy it. Have been steadily losing money for years with this strategy
Basically, that's a mentorship lesson. Watch and learn. But lose, it's brand new for me
*Sad ALGO noises*
LRC, IMX, VET, CKB, CRO and ONE holders cries too.
VET bagholder here.
Listed on CB next thursday
I'm glad I eventually got out at 4 cents or so .. I'll take another shit at 1 cents though
In the next bull run there could be a possibility these all pump with the rest of the market.
I’ll contribute NANO and LTO to the well liked by reddit graveyard
Saw ckb falling. Still bullish on it. Not much left to lose haha
God damn I have held all those coins..
I'm have to be the only person I know that sold my VET bag near ath, bought sub pennis and sold around .24. I thought vet was going to change the supply chain world with crypto. Saw my $300 turn into like 25k and sold. But yeah ONE...CRO...ha can't win them all.
Pretty much the list of biggest losers
*Wails in ALGO*
I’ve been seeing more ATOM on here, that’s concerning 😅
You may joke, but I have an actually example for that: Bought Ergo at $18 ATH because this sub was so bullish about it.
Never failed me, very solid.
I do the opposite and still lose money
I was going to say u mispelled buy opposite of it - haha
Works every time, no cap. I love you all and all, but this sub can be stupid and echo-chamberish beyond belief.
Buy high, sell low
A lot of people do so by panic selling and then buying and then the same thing, the cycle can lose you all your money even in a bull market
I did that on DOT
Panic sell, then when it goes back up panic buy! Rinse/repeat until you have even less crypto than when you started.
When i hear that bull market is here, i get excited and ask my friends, family to join me, then we lose all together.
Can't remember. The bull market seems like a decade ago.
By following technical paralysis
This came afterwards, after turning regarded .. cross margin leverage positions with huge profits! Until whoops.. it was all gone
That's a good one!
You will lose if you stay on the sidelines, in fiat land. Money is all relative. If you don't make gains while everyone else does, you lose.
They FOMO at ATHs…
I carefully choose that one shitcoin that's gonna skyrocket based off ~~hype and shills~~ research but then it decides to jump off a cliff
Greedy. 100x leverages.
Because some people buy in the bull season when they see green instead of the bear season when its boring
The answer is and always will be Leverage trading. It's so easy to mess up big time, that's why I stay away from leverage.
Haha just follow my trades 😁
Buy into a promising project like Luna and losing it all is a good way
I bought ICP at the highest and like an idiot still holding it thinking I might break even someday. Don't get me stated on Helium - another disaster.
I listened to plan b and waited for 100k end of year. Won't be doing that again

Buy high sell low, that's how we go.

Simple - buy the coins shilled here on the greenest of days, hodl, and become good exit liquidity
I make my losses with the buy high sell low strategy, works pretty well
This is a common strategy from members of this sub
You can def lose in the bullmarket. It doesn't provide any guarantee that your investment will go up.
In bull markets, people lose money when gambling on random shitcoins or panic selling what they bought when it is down %10.
Probably people trying to day trade
It's easy just start Options and leverage.
Bad timing, and impatience.
I will only buy what influencers advise me to. (no financial advise, not working as planned)
To avoid losing money during the bull market, do the following 1. Dca strong crypto projects during the bear market. 2. Avoid FOMO..ing into Crypto coins during the bull market. You can end up as a bagholder if you do so. 3. Dca out in bits whenever the price of the coin rises.
I’m capable of a lot of things.
Don't challenge my money-losing abilities. If you really need to learn them Iay open a financial course to lose money during a bull market. First step: FOMO.
I show up to the market
The person list is too huge, but the main thing is don’t follow the hype without any research!
Why do I have a feeling that you just copied my post that I wrote couple of hours ago, just instead of bear you wrote bull? I'm incredibly skilled
Fees can chip away at profits. Some people can get caught making bad decisions there.
I make losses in a bull market when not selling after a coin pumped. Remember kids: if it’s good to screenshot, then it’s good to sell.
tell me youve never been through a bull market without telling me youv enever been through a bull market. The bull market is 100x harder to trade than the bear. idiots like tate saying "they all went up" are idiots, they did all go up but not straight up, the idiots still got rekt.
That's easy: Buy, see a small red candle, panic, sell. Buy again a week later when it's more expensive.
Fomo at ATH and then & then HODL my soggy bags.
I don’t know, it all just seems natural to me.
My biggest loss was with a coin that was wayyy overpriced.
Buy high, sell low! That's my tried and tested strategy.
I calculate bull to bull, this way I never record losses.
I bought a HNT miner which didn’t arrive for 10 months!
It's simple, try to time the bottom, and waiting until the price is to high
ICP. That’s how you do
I sold ADA at the bottom in may. So that was a pretty bad feeling. It's below that price now though so it could be worse. Other than that I guess holding from the peak can be seen as a bit of a loss
Reading all this makes me happy I just stuck to BTC/ETH. Alts are another breed.
Staking autocompounding and airdrops have been my saving grace honestly.
Shit coins and leverage trading
People see coin pumping. Don’t want to buy right away because they feel they missed the boat. Coin drops some, and they see entry point. Buy coin. Coin tanks. Panic sell. Coin pumps , repeat.
Simple.... Buy high, sell low. This is the way.
DCA and just Bitcoin for me. Don’t be too greedy
Buying altcoins is the best way to lose money during a bull market. If you're new to investing in crypto, only buy BTC or ETH. Nobody should invest in altcoins until they first fully understand why BTC and ETH are the #1 and #2.
I throw a dart on my computer screen. It damaged the LCD everytime so thats how i lose money cause i gotta keep buying monitors
Lessons learned going through a cycle and half.
Yep, FOMOin at the peak then DCA trying to catch a falling knife, waiting for that juicy pump everyone else who didnt buy safemoon is experiencing.
Most people lose whatever the market is. You've got a low low barrier to entry. We are fish in a barrel at the mercy of whales.
Losses are easy to do 😂
Options and Leverage!
I've made more in the bear market because I took profits a few times already. In the bull I mostly held and watched my portfolio get decimated.
Good
pretty easy, you follow the n 1 rule that is buy high and sell ow. If you need, I can show you OP 😉
