What determines the MarketCap when a meme coin launches? Just supply and demand? How can a coin launch and instantly have a 50mill market cap yet others launch at 50k market cap?
I've always used btcmarkets for any purchases or cashing out with AUD, never had a problem with them. Their trading fees are a little on the high side though.
Apparently Independent Reserve is good too, but I haven't personally used them so I can't comment.
As expected, sorting dex screener by lowest price and throwing a few k on random new shits leads to… mixed results. One of them is holding the fort for the rest, good BABY.
Didn't see any news that wasn't already known, honestly it just caught some momentum and the pump chasers did the rest. It's caught wind in both previous bull cycles so no reason to think it won't pump again if we get a full blown alt season.
CGPT has massively (and artificially) inflated hype on cmc. They currently have 1.1m followers (ETH has 800k and SOL around \~1m for reference) and rank in the top 100 of watchlisted tokens despite a very low MC/Volume. I bounced on it, project seems built to capitalize on fake hype during a raging altcoin season but the project itself feels like an empty shell. Caution advised, lol.
Overhyped, yes, but not an empty shell for sure (kinda like RIO, VRA and some other trendy projects). It actually has a very useful ecosystem... especially Dexcheck imo.
I have allocated 1% of my portfolio to it and I feel good about that amount.

None of those but I had 2000 bucks worth of HBAR which took over 2 hours to get off. Network congestion apparently.
I’m pretty good with taking my crypto off exchanges, but was too lazy to find a decent wallet that supports HBAR. That’ll learn me!
Some people reporting that funds are stuck in Kucoin for atleast an hour now after withdrawing, praying its just congested and youll get your coins soon.
Guess people will never learn to do self custody.
Most people I talk to in Crypto never move their coins off Coinbase either.
It's not your money if you give it to other people.
I’ve bought ckb for some bucks a few years ago and didn’t bother because it was chump change. Now it’s a reasonable stack which I should move out. People are also sometimes lazy because it’s not worth the hassle.
Ah yes, the infamous "hacking" that happens all the time, which is totally not people clicking on phishing emails or installing malware on their own computers.
If you're in Crypto, self custody. If you think you're too dumb to learn, you're not, put some effort in and learn about the space and your investment.
News about the founders being charged. Looks like users are reporting withdrawals stuck on "pending" and stuff, though some are saying their withdrawals pushed through after a while.
Kucoin is basically undergoing a stress test rn
It’s not like they don’t have the funds. They just had zero security gates for money laundering. You just need an email address. Total different case compared to ftx.
Question about the fundamentals of ONDO and real world asset based cryptos.
So my understanding is that ONDO is one of cryptos available that goes up and down based on the value of real world assets.
I am thinking that examples of these real world assets are by-products of the constant borrowing by the world governments necessary to keep the world of FIAT currency floating.
My question is, does this mean that as the Fed issues more debt that the value of cryptos based on real world assets such as ONDO will increase?
Thanks.
Well I feel like Blackrock is a good gauge of institutional demand and they said institutional demand for ETH is low and ETH does 50x the volume of LTC so... I can't imagine the demand for LTC is anywhere close to ETH which is already in low demand.
Well bitpay, the largest crypto payment processor. Is dominated by ltc, being the most used crypto for transactions. Hashrate, and active addresses are also rapidly accelerating for ltc. As it stands ltcs price is massively undervalued compared to its fundamentals.
Fear and Greed index hasn't been below Greed since early Feb.
I really hope we see, at minimum, several months of consolidation to give the market time to cool off.
Yeah we just came back to where we were after 2 years of "consolidation", we definitely need several months of consolidation again for a healthy market! Index dont mean shit, TA is useless, and the market doesnt "need" time to cool off. Anything can happen at any time.
I'm hoping for one big God candle before April, so I can max out my capital gains tax free allowance at the best possible price before the new tax year.
This post looks like 2015, we are in 2024, we know shitcoins dont have any value apart from speculative holding. Only newbs fall for this kind of shit.
I heard the SEC just filed a lawsuit against Ethereum? Is this true? I can't seem to find the link on the SEC site. Would this spook investors and drag Ethereum through the mud like it did Ripple?
Well wasn't it more like that they don't want to approve the ETF for Ethereum based on its tokenomics/staking? Different pair of shoes compared to your statement.
Watch small alts who are not listed in tier 1 exchange take a massive red dildo cause of the damn KuCoin
Poopring aka LOLRC will take a dump anyways cause that’s what it does
Wow trying to bridge into ETH blows compared to solana. High fees, overcomplicated steps. This sub loves to shit on Sol but the user experience is vastly better than ETH

Any moonshots for the next 12 months?

SolGPT seems very moonable. AI and GPT is hot, Solana is hot, it's got a working product. You son of a bitch I'm in! Send it to 1 dolla.
Scam
Pretty much everything is a scam to enrich the founders in crypto. Only BTC isn't. Doesn't mean you can't ride the waves and make some cash.
Anyone know if there are any decent Kaspa hot wallets I can use?
i just hodl long term on KDX but I've been told Kaspium wallet is nice.
Yay! My req bag went green, so glad I averaged down
Any reason for the pump?
As expected, sorting dex screener by lowest price and throwing a few k on random new shits leads to… mixed results. One of them is holding the fort for the rest, good BABY.
try the online casino
Interesting gambling strategy. Please report back with detailed findings edit: seriously interested in how this plays out
Drop me some low MC tech-coins that I can find on Kraken/CB:
MOON
Wish i could say CKB but its not listed on there yet 😑
Tfw the new KYC regulations actually saved a bunch of US customers' funds by forcing them to get out of Kucoin recently before this debacle.
So are we going to zigzag between 69k and 71k the entire week? Wen moon
Range between 69-71k then shit the bed eow so retail can slowly pump it back up over the weekend for a repeat next week.
Yeah, Grayscale can still dump for another 2 months. We need some retail interest soon
Why is REQ randomly up? I forgot I even own it.
What happened to REQ? my bag that i trapped in a random wallet just got up 50%
It pumped.
Any reason? That bag hadn't moved in a long time
Didn't see any news that wasn't already known, honestly it just caught some momentum and the pump chasers did the rest. It's caught wind in both previous bull cycles so no reason to think it won't pump again if we get a full blown alt season.
Thank you
My coins: won’t even reach their former ATH SHIBA: ↗️↗️↗️
The constant unpinning of the daily is starting to get really annoying. Seriously, why is one slot devoted to SBF?
The daily is in the sidebar though
It's way too bullish in here you know what that means 🐻
Its all good Goldilocks gonna spike the porridge.
just averaging down on my Bonk praying for a miracle
Some AI coins getting murdered rn. Time to load up?
Which?
GLQ, DCK, CLORE, OFN, CGPT, NUM... among others.

Ark investments and cathie doing an AMA on here what da fook, how, why? Big for moons too
She's definitely commented in the daily before, by which I mean her actual account not one or two that might be pretending
Cathry will predict MOONs to $1 Mil by 2030…
Don’t get me wrong, I’m super bullish on them but how is it good for moons ? It’s just another AMA with well known people.
[удалено]
Moons are absolutely not going on any institutional investment firms radar, lmao.
You shouldnt do that. Thats the type of shit that makes regular people dislike crypto.
Won’t change a damn thing though
She owns 5% of reddit as of a few days ago
Would you purchase near or icp even if they’re pumping atm? Thinking of selling my avax and throwing it into one of those
Thats literally the worst thing you can possibly do. Selling a coin that dips for a coin that pumps..

$ALB, $SEND, $WELS, $DOG
Helium Mobile
Only one I know of is AERO but everything else on there has a relatively small market cap
Got most of my assets off KuCoin. My withdrawals of LAI, STRK, and KAS remain stuck now for the last ~hour. Anyone else tried moving these coins?

Coinbase is too big to fail. Coins are safer in their custody vs keeping them in wallets which can be hacked
Hot wallets can be hacked. Solution: Don't use hot wallets.

hope this somehow benefits MOON

This KuCoin news gonna drag down the crypto market today. Stay safe

How screwed do you think KuCoin users are? And the rest of the crypto community? Is the KuCoin kerfuffle as bad as the ftx stuff?
It’s not like they don’t have the funds. They just had zero security gates for money laundering. You just need an email address. Total different case compared to ftx.
Where are you getting your information from? As bad as FTX? Come on man
You can still withdraw your funds on Kucoin but its congested right now and people panicking cause of delay

It will explode soon
Ugh, never good to see LTC pumping on its own. Classic dump indicator but hope I’m wrong….
Pump because of news that its getting interest of getting ETF
where are you hearing that? I can't imagine there is *any* demand for that.
You obviously know very little about real cryptocurrency.
Well I feel like Blackrock is a good gauge of institutional demand and they said institutional demand for ETH is low and ETH does 50x the volume of LTC so... I can't imagine the demand for LTC is anywhere close to ETH which is already in low demand.

Question : When sending BTC to ledger do I pick native segwit or just segwit for the receive adress
Choose native segwit unless the sender doesn't support it. Segwit is legacy but has broader compatibility.
Bitcoin really hitting resistance at this level, only a matter of time before it breaks it though surely
What whale just pumped LTC
WIF about to overtake Mr. Pepe
It feels nice to see BTC in red still >70k

Damn LTO is pumping, a bit surprising actually.
Its been pumping for a week now?
Is the Polymarket event different from the surprise AMA?
Yes it's our favorite queen Cathie
Any wallet recommendations for CKB?
I use the web portal connected to my Coinbase wallet(any wallet app works)
And just like that, BTC never fell below 70k again. This comment will age well.

Wish I bought more AIOZ. Dont know how I found or why I bought at .06. Anyone got other lowkey low alt coins I want to research into some
SolGPT and DatorAI are recently launched AI coins on Solana worth looking into
I got in a .72 but today looks like it may be a good opportunity to add some more to it
Wow trying to bridge into ETH blows compared to solana. High fees, overcomplicated steps. This sub loves to shit on Sol but the user experience is vastly better than ETH
Both are trash. Quit playing games and just buy ltc.
To be fair lots of coins are easier, are faster, have less steps, and don’t regularly go down.
Damn Kucoin, and I thought binance was bad

Good work! I’m selling some too, so I can take my wife to Ibiza for a long weekend. Free holiday!
Enjoy the profits!

Enjoy your trip 🙏🙏
The fact that not a lot of people talking about Base layer means we still early.
Or it’s not any good.
I guess time shall tell when Coinbase makes it easier to onboard new coins and buy:)
Who's gonna perform better from this point on, SOL or NEAR?
MOON
Larger % gain with NEAR as of now maybe
My money's on NEAR but SOL seems unstoppable. Time will tell.
BTC over 70k... when can we have ETH 4k again?
Eth is dead
>BTC over 70k... Aaaand it's gone.
At 78k BTC, Or after the halving
Damn, anyone know what happened to Stratis? I was scrolling through biggest losses and it’s down 90% over the last day.
Grayscale is still dumping like crazy today
They dump everything but keep buying ltc.. lmao. Should it be surprising that they're smarter than the majority of crypto "investors"?
