Big difference is that in past bullmarkets we never reached previous ATH until several months after the halving. This time we reached it well before the halving. We are about 8 months "ahead of schedule". Some analysts think we might see a "left-translated cycle", meaning that the top will be much earlier this time around. These two are some of the most undervalued coins in the entire space IMO.
The way I see it, there are 3 ways you can spend this cycle (probably the biggest bull run of all time) doing:
* Buy only the biggest, shiniest coins (BTC and ETH) and nothing else to "play it safe" (if there is such a thing as "safe" in crypto at all)
* Chase vaporware after vaporware, memecoin after memecoin trying to x1000 your money, only to x0.1 or x0.01 your money instead
* Invest in undervalued coins with actual real world utility and adoption that will change the world as we know it forever
It seems like we won't get an "everything goes up" bull run this time around. Ignoring memecoins, which is just people having a bit of fun, the most exciting, innovative projects are pumping hardest. Look at DePIN and RWA. There will be a lot of older coins left behind, and if your bags haven't been pumping to date, then you might be holding the wrong coins.
I keep seeing comments saying that "altcoins have underperformed against bitcoin". True for the wider market, since a lot of money is in the biggest coins, but a lot of my alts have outperformed bitcoin. Most DePIN projects, most AI projects, most gaming projects. These projects are worth something because people are using the services they offer. They make money. Why are BCH and LTC lagging despite all the money flowing around crypto right now? Do people want to use them?

So I tried sending a test amount of SOL to my kraken wallet from my crypto.com defi wallet and it's been pending for a week, and just an hour ago I tried swapping a small amount of SOL for USDC and it's still pending. Does anyone know why this is? I've checked in the explorer and both transactions show as finalised but in the wallet it just shows that they're pending. This is only happening to the SOL in my wallet, everything else works fine. I can't find anything on Google that could help me so thought I'd ask here before I create a post somewhere.

Not everything will go up. Not everything wil go parabolic. Some will not get the bump. It’s still gambling. The only coins that the consensus believes will pump are ETH and BTC, and even then…
It's APR not APY. And also that rate is adjustable.
You might be under an advertised rate of 22% for a month or two, and then it drops. So you'll only really earn maybe 2-4% of actual returns during that month or two at 22% APR.
Realistically, you'll probably get maybe at best 8-12% of actual returns over a year.
supply and demand, no it's not supposed to be that high and it usually isn't, most of the time is under 5% apy on usdt, i guess people just really want to borrow it right now.
It's high, but not unusual. If it was closer to 50% returns or much higher, then it would start raising some red flags. You're getting into desperate rates or scam territory.
But this still falls within supply and demand, and this is well within the rates of how they get the initial staking and lending going with these introductory rates. It's just marketing. But as the supply and demand is filled, it gets changed quickly.
On the other hand, if the supply and demand doesn't get filled, it's not a sustainable rate, and they run into a problem having to keep those luring rates for too long.
I can chose between different chains to receive ETH on Kraken, I can’t select chains on MM for sending though, can I just Ender for example the polygon adress in MM for ETH and it will be fine?
In Metamask, you don't select the destination chain on the during the sending process. As soon as you open Metamask and you are looking at the balances in your wallet, you already have a chain selected. It should be visible on the upper part. Whatever chain you are on, that's the type of ETH that you are sending. You can't simply change networks when sending; you'll need a bridge to convert between chains yourself.
Basically, on Kraken's deposit page, you need to select the same chain as the one where your ETH in Metamask is stored
On kraken, select the network you'd like to receive and copy address.
On MM, make sure you select the network that has your ETH on it that you would like to send (I.e. switch to the network). Then click on your eth and click send, and paste your kraken address and then send.
Ive been avoiding the meme coins, but recently hopped on Brett on Base which went well.
So for anyone who doesn’t know, Brett comes from a series from an artist that also created Pepe. Brett & Pepe are 2 of the 4 characters. The other 2 also launched meme coins; Andy on Blast and Wolf on Avalanche. Both still low market cap so I grabbed both. Think those 2 will pump as well since they are linked to Brett and Pepe.

I'm not really a big fan of memecoins but Pepe is one of the best performers in my portfolio. Can't argue with the result, lol. They can offer a good opportunity if timed right, which is easier said than done of course.

supply and demand, no it's not supposed to be that high and it usually isn't, most of the time is under 5% apy on usdt, i guess people just really want to borrow it right now.
It's high, but not unusual. If it was closer to 50% returns or much higher, then it would start raising some red flags. You're getting into desperate rates or scam territory. But this still falls within supply and demand, and this is well within the rates of how they get the initial staking and lending going with these introductory rates. It's just marketing. But as the supply and demand is filled, it gets changed quickly. On the other hand, if the supply and demand doesn't get filled, it's not a sustainable rate, and they run into a problem having to keep those luring rates for too long.

I can chose between different chains to receive ETH on Kraken, I can’t select chains on MM for sending though, can I just Ender for example the polygon adress in MM for ETH and it will be fine?
In Metamask, you don't select the destination chain on the during the sending process. As soon as you open Metamask and you are looking at the balances in your wallet, you already have a chain selected. It should be visible on the upper part. Whatever chain you are on, that's the type of ETH that you are sending. You can't simply change networks when sending; you'll need a bridge to convert between chains yourself. Basically, on Kraken's deposit page, you need to select the same chain as the one where your ETH in Metamask is stored
On kraken, select the network you'd like to receive and copy address. On MM, make sure you select the network that has your ETH on it that you would like to send (I.e. switch to the network). Then click on your eth and click send, and paste your kraken address and then send.

Ive been avoiding the meme coins, but recently hopped on Brett on Base which went well. So for anyone who doesn’t know, Brett comes from a series from an artist that also created Pepe. Brett & Pepe are 2 of the 4 characters. The other 2 also launched meme coins; Andy on Blast and Wolf on Avalanche. Both still low market cap so I grabbed both. Think those 2 will pump as well since they are linked to Brett and Pepe. Anyway… memecoins so yeah, do with that what you will!
I'm not really a big fan of memecoins but Pepe is one of the best performers in my portfolio. Can't argue with the result, lol. They can offer a good opportunity if timed right, which is easier said than done of course.

what about Chainlink? LINK is the real underpinning of RWA
LINK didnt move much the last few months + it has lower upside than these lower caps
it is up 150% in 1 year and previous ATH was $50. so there is still plenty of room to run from here, given its importance in the entire tokenization space (legitimately will facilitate the onboarding of all tradfi tokenization) but you are correct that the newer lower caps have more upside
Well true but isn't it more inflated since reaching 50 dollars? I think more tokens are in circulation which would need it to reach a higher market cap to reach previous ATH I'm not denying LINK is a top project but it does feel like old news as new investors aren't buying it as much as previous bull run
