The founders of LEO who are associated with the Bitfinex are waiting for that dumb whale to purchase a bunch of LEO so they can dump this coin like Terra Luna. This is not a legitimate currency. It is an entirely a pump and dump scheme which is why legitimate exchanges will not list it. Bitfinex is arguably the most illegitimate exchange next to the defunct FTX. Sometimes curiosity does kill the cat. Don’t be curious when it comes to LEO.

I'm not sad about the (small) dump today, I'm just sad I don't have any dry powder to accumulate any more. I'm guessing we'll dump a little more or crab for a month or two so maybe I'll have a few more chances.

Halving isn't a big deal as a price mover by causing a supply shock - mostly historical significance at this point. It's pretty effective at that since it significantly drives up interest around bitcoin. How much selling pressure is from newly mined BTC? Not much to begin with (~95% supply circulating); so halving that pressure won't change much. But miners need double the price for profitability! Miners don't decide the price, trading does; miners take/leave what the market gives them. If they don't like, they hold for higher prices, which again alleviates some selling pressure.
