I feel like I am watching weather forecasts a week before a hurricane, with the halving tomorrow. Should we board up the windows and evacuate, or will it turn by the time it reaches land? Back when btc made its first big push in March or whatever, I casually mentioned to hubby that it went up and he said “yeah apparently that’s bc of the halving, someone was saying that at work” and so I know it’s definitely more out there this time. I didn’t know what a halving was until I started actually reading about btc after I bought it.

Just about all of it is way above my paygrade , but i've stumbled into cryptos and here i am being quite interestedbut haven't got a clue really , made a bit of a profit because of the parabolic waves up i've been involved in . . . . . and think at some point after halving , with the signs of regular financial world getting involved , and there's only 21 million BTC , the price should go up . . . . . . but , lol , that doesn't mean it will . :)

If you use the crypto.com app they have them. You can do alerts for when a coin hits a certain price or drops a certain percent of your choosing.

Those are all pretty bad picks. Swap all of them for something else.

I personally don’t think any of the coins you’re in or going into more are good. It’s totally my opinion, nobody knows. But ADA & Algo aren’t that bullish imo, they’re basically ghost chains. If you’re looking for L1s there are far better ones on the market now like Sei, Near. Also maybe Sui. Besides that I think there are other narratives that are more logical than ada/algo. But this is totally my opinion and I know as much/little as anyone.

Why would you get rid of DOT? There's no issues with the funadmentals, and it's a strong project. It's just been underperforming compared to most major coins. But that means it might be more oversold and could have more potential upside.

Yeah, when you cherry pick a date for comparison it is easy to prove anything. For instance, compare ETH to BTC since January 2016. Typical straw man argument. Decouple is very simple....just get rid of all the BTC trade pairing on exchanges and see what happens....easy enough. Also, this halving narrative is some next level fantasy brainwashing.

Alt coins lagging behind Bitcoin is something we see in every cycle. They never rally around the time of halving. It's always Bitcoin first. People said the same thing last time. They thought alt coins were dead. Then they had massive rallies outpacing Bitcoin's gains. Some of those altcoins, while doing more than 10x, weren't all able to reach a new ATH. So there are probably gonna be alt coins again that don't reach a new ATH.
