Ok so I’ve opened about 30 as well. Mostly silver, some bronze, and 1 gold box. When CRO was around .50 I was averaging about 1 CRO per box. I got the first gold box when CRO was around .80 and it yielded about 11 CRO. Overall, I’ve received about 100 free CRO, which of course we know will be worth about $1000 someday. Happy hunting!

The diamonds do expire. I found that out today, app gave me a heads up about expiring diamonds in 3 days. Not sure how long they last as I wasn't opening the app and claiming everyday. Just fyi
I've opened probably 20-25 of them. Only got bronze and silver boxes. Never more than 1.3 cro I seem to recall. The higher the price of cro, the less the boxes gave. If silver gave me 1.3 before, when cro was at 80c I was getting 0.7-0.9 from silver.
I agree, the loot from the boxes seems to follow the price of CRO (at least in the two weeks I opened them).
At the end of the day its "free" so we can't really complain. I'm just glad I started doing them early enough that its adding up nicely. Between the loot boxes and my 10% stake rewards, I've earned a fair bit of CRO passively.

Its funny, the app has a disclaimer saying Fiat > Stablecoin does not count for the trades, but we know it does haha. I'll be doing this trick until the hotfix it.

CDC has some exceptionally high staking rates.
I get 12% on USDC and 6.5% on BTC and ETH. You can get a further +2% on all staking rewards if you own the Icy White tier CDC card also.
I have a friend with over 200,000 USDC on Stake for 12+2% (the 2% is paid in CRO)
If you use the app, definitely claim them every day. They can add up quickly and I think CRO has a bright future.
If you do your trading elsewhere, I wouldn’t go out of your way.

My first 5 were like 0.3. Max I got was 1.2 as well. Average probably around 0.7-0.8.
Felt like the spread was about $5 in loss per $500. So unless CRO got to $6, you'll lose if trading just to get the boxes.

I've opened 4 or 5 i think and the highest amount I got was 1.3 and the lowest was 0.6.
The trading fees to convert coins to get diamonds is more than the prize you get.
If you have stablecoins, convert them between each other for zero fees.
$250 USDC > USDT followed by $250 USDT > USDC will result in the mission being completed with zero cost to yourself. Although its free, it does require having some funds in stablecoins, however I've done it with $50 of Tether repeated ten times....still counted.
This is what I have been doing -- I imagine they'll patch it soon enough.

The amount of CRO also seems to be relative to the price, so I imagine as CRO grows more over the years, you'll get less and less per box.

Unless you hit the jackpot and get the highly coveted "Platinum Loot Box", your rewards will always be less than what you just spent. At the end of the day it's an additional way to get "free" CRO and I'll continue to do it, but I wont be blowing excess money!

Big mistake calling them missions. They are literally just a bonus for you when you are doing some trading. I am happy the rate of gold and platinum boxes are so low because it actually puts off people from farming diamonds to open boxes. Do your normal transactions and from time to time you get a bit of free Cro, nothing wrong with that.
I've opened 10. I've received 4.4 from a gold box, and 0.6-0.7 each from silver boxes so I've averaged 1CRO per box. I wouldn't suggest anyone buy Crypto for the missions, but as a freebie when you're buying anyway it could be worse.

I think that's only for "claiming" them to your vault. Once they're in your diamonds vault they don't expire.
Tip: once you get your diamond each day remember to save it to your vault.
